So I found the park very successful. I do not understand that you can not bring your own food and drink, otherwise you can never rule out that the animals are fed with something they are not allowed to eat. Unfortunately, the control was not really strict. The prices for the food are totally okay. 0.5 l of water for 50 Rupi (1.25 ) are okay. Have an interaction with Karakals. It was placed heavily on the behavior of the observers and taught a lot of knowledge of the zookeeper. Although there are high prices, but animals and staff cost so too :) The only drawback ... Despite clear signs and vigilant staff there were always idiots who have tried to set on the free-running giant tortoises for a photo. The staff is very vigilant and makes it loud that it is forbidden. But when the park is full, I think you can not always see it directly. There are just too many stupid people. It just has to be clearly marked and whoever sets out to be thrown directly out of the park. I do not want to know how many turtles have been seriously injured there .. or worse. Nevertheless, the whole staff took good care of the animals.

It's not worth for the money. We spent about Mau Rupees 16000 for 6 of us for half a day and the experience was very bad. Mauritius is a beautiful country with lovely people and lots of natural beauty to see n experience. If you are a tourist, please don't waste your day n money on this artificially created so called theme park. They don't allow outside food and they don't hv proper food inside. We were all starving. Overall its a waste of our time. To my surprise, even the kids didn't enjoy the place. If there is negative star, I would have chosen that.

First time we came to this park in 2013 it was a beautiful. We came frequently to the park and always had great experience. Safari bus was taking on a tour to see wild animals.

Today we came back to something very different in terms of experience. You have to walk walk walk walk. Prices have gone up at least 4 times. But the experience from visiting the park is nothing like it was before.

Casela world of adventure is amongst the best nature parks in Mauritius. I just loved the experience.

It lies on the beautiful west coast of Mauritius. There are several activities.
The park is divided in four thematic segments:

Safari Kingdom
Nature Kingdom
Mountain Kingdom and
Discovery Centre

There are prime activities like:

Walking with Big Cats
Camel ride safari
Interaction with Rhinos
Giraffe feeding
Walking with Lions
Segway Safari Trip
Safari Quad Biking
Horse safari
Mud Karting Adventure
Zip Lines & Nepalese Bridge
Canyon Swing etc

It's a must visit. Do not avoid it if it's not included in your package. we took public transport from flic n flac village and walked a bit. It's easily accessible and you would love to be there, we had fun filled day.

This park is really great! We even have the opportunity to approach and touch cheetah lions etc. .... We see that the healers love their work and the animals they care! Really an unforgettable day!

Cute place, experience with the quads ... a theft!
See only four kinds of animals and wander in the park for two hours without a load!
To see lions, giraffes and more you have to pay extra .... a massacre
DO NOT DO THE TRIP WITH THE QUAD NO !!

Friendly day for families. However it is not easy to understand how the visit of the safari works, it is a pity the lack of explanation.
The most negative point is still the double fare (locals and tourists)! Then almost 100 to walk with the lions, you should not push even in the nettles!

Casela is a decent drive from most places in Mauritius but well worth the trip! Here are a few recommendations to make your day go easier:

BOOK ONLINE: it s very easy with credit cards accepted and PDF tickets emailed to you directly. It saves a lot of time lining up for tickets plus it helps with planning.

BOOK ATTRACTIONS ONLINE: certain attractions such as the Walking with Lions sell out very quickly. You definitely want to book these in advance to avoid disappointment but also because it makes the lining up at the venue much easier.

COME EARLY. A few of the features in the day such as the hippo feeding are better timed before lunch. As you stay on in the afternoon there are fewer things put on my the organisers. We came in the afternoon however and had a good time but noticed we missed out on a few things happening earlier in the morning. Plus parking is better earlier in the day.

START AT THE BACK: we found it useful to start at the back and then work our way towards the front of the park by leaving. You also avoid some crowds that way too.

FOOD: it s pretty basic here with sandwiches, crisps and drinks. It gets marginally better towards the back of the park.

BUS: there is a bus that will drive you around the park to avoid some of the longer walks in the sun.

This place is interesting, it offers very unique experience, for all levels, this is my second time, and I still enjoyed it. We did the Big Cats Kingdom ( close cage drive thru ) , and we did Safari Kingdom Quad safari trip 1 hour. Staff were really helpful. Manage to book for me and my son 12 years ( online ) , but they said that 16years is the starting age for the Quads, but to avoid refund they offered to send one staff to ride with him on his Quad. Every body is happy.

Very beautiful park, and above all very large. Lots of things to do for young and old. Plan a lot of time, especially if you go with small children, the distances are quite large. Not at all practical with a stroller! And paths not very well indicated we found.

Do you want to ride a giant turtle? Unfortunately this is not allowed: D but petting, feeding and eating funny woman photos with the sedate plants are included in the admission. Just as a safari trip with the truck and super beautiful big cats (including lions o.O.). The park is in very good condition and you rarely get as close to the animals as here. The visit was worth it in every respect.

More than what I expected! I always viewed this place as being only suitable for children but was pleasantly surprised. There are many activities to suit all ages but i think it is better to experience it through the eyes of a child whether your own or any you want to spoil. The animals were spectacular and you can get up close to a few. The rides although touted as mild , are hectic in parts but do it at least once for the experience. There is a lot to do and see, so you need a whole day to experience it to the full. Definitely a good place to go.

Had lots of fun at casela. Enjoyed a lot, specially the stay till 9.00 pm. Lots of activities to do, at a reasonable price. Staff are welcoming but still need some improvements, such as being more detailed about activities, or full information about activities. Like while i was doing the ride on tulawaka, staff told me, all i need to do is press the accelerator. But at some point i had to stop pressing it, which they did not informed earlier. I kept on accelerating, and that was a terrible experience for me. Hope next time staff provide full information about activities, to make it pleasant for visitors.

Superb place,

Superb place,
Small caveats: the driver for the zip line which arrives VERY late and the attractions which are crowded.

Activity with lions and zipline are awesome.

The park is really nice, in the basic entrance you get besides the sightseeing, during which you pass through the freely passing giant turtle, take a small safari on a shredded loader. I advise you not to go there, when your breasts and more than two hours before closing, otherwise you will not see much

The park is nice but you pay a lot of money at the entrance and when you're inside to let you touch the animals, enter the safari they make you pay more money in the attractions like those with water were closed

More than beautiful place! You will not be disappointed by the beauty of this immense park. You have many activities, people dedicated to the protection of animals and there are also mosquitoes therefore mosquito repellant required. The price is correct for the services. Do not miss this stopover which will delight you.

Animals or are they ... half of the pens are empty. The safari endless waiting to see less than nothing. If your little boy is going to stroke the lion cubs, do not hope to take souvenir photos, you will have a photographer who will constantly strafe him to sell you his pictures and icing on the cake the staff in the lion cub enclosure will be in front of you you; pitiful but true ..

Must visit specially the walk with lions experience. The Safari is also good , along with the Giraffe feeding. Do prebook your activities to save your self time from a long queue. The souvenir shop is very good as well.
