My wife and I moved to Cascade Manor in January of 2017.

Before doing so, we investigated similar retirement communities in Northern California close to our home in Marin County.

Most such communities have lovely grounds but are located so far from shopping and other in-town businesses and attractions that one must drive to them. Cascade Manor is directly across the street from major grocery and drug stores, restaurants, banks, coffee shops, pet stores, close to medical facilities and other businesses within easy walking distance of home.

And after experiencing the joy of home ownership for over 40 years, we are more than happy with the fact that we no longer have to replant landscaping, clean gutters, paint and maintain a home, or deal with electricians and plumbers when things go haywire or get clogged up.

Finally, Cascade Manor has a dedicated, hard-working and friendly staff and a community of intelligent, interesting, and convivial residents who make living here a wonderful experience.

I called and left messages for the admissions coordinator for an entire week trying to get a family member that was in the hospital into the health center. I NEVER even received a call back. Not even a courtesy call. I called the health center directly as well and instead of someone answering I got voice mail. When I finally reached someone they were not at all friendly 9r accommodating and actually rather rude. I would be very concerned about placing a loved one in their hands. Very unprofessional and lacking in compassion.

My wife and I have lived at Cascade Manor for over two years. Moving here was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our three bedroom, two bath home is comfortable, and well designed for living as we age. Our neighbors are wonderful. The community is welcoming and supportive and there are activities to meet all interests. The meals are excellent, however, one needs to sometimes say no to the desserts. We look forward to more years living at Cascade Manor

When we moved to Eugene three years ago to be near our kids, we realized that we had a choice. We could buy yet another house with all the responsibilities of maintaining a property or we could seek out a Continuing Care Retirement Community where all of our needs would be taken care of for the rest of our lives. Cascade Manor is not only the only CCRC in Eugene, it is also a phenomenal community. Bright, well educated and highly engaged people who are a delight to be with, a wonderful very committed staff who clearly care deeply about us, fantastic food and entertainment, Cascade Manor has it all! I would not hesitate to recommend Cascade Manor as the best there is.

My wife and I have lived at Cascade Manor for eight years now. Our experience has been nothing but positive. Fellow residents all have had interesting vocational careers and it is a real joy to learn about the details in conversations during dining. Educational and recreational opportunities abound but one can also be less involved, if that is your desire. The food offerings are excellent, whether that is in the main dining room or the less formal bistro. I do not hesitate to recommend the Manor to friends and family.

My husband and I moved to Cascade Manor in July 2017 after visiting ten retirement communities in various parts of the country. We selected Cascade Manor because it offered several floor plans with widely varying sizes and in our case a fenced yard. (Our dog loves our new home.) Another significant factor was the accessibility to daily needs - pharmacy, quality food market, bank, office supply and mail service being just a walk across the street. What we couldn't have known, but discovered within a short time following our move in, was the quality and dedication of the administrative staff and employees and their quick response to individual needs. They must have a fairly rigorous criteria for employment consideration. The food is exceptional and there are many opportunities to enjoy quality live musical performances and other stimulating activities. If you are looking for a well-located high quality continuous care retirement facility and don't mind dodging a few wheelchairs and walkers occasionally, this facility deserves your consideration.
