Wonderful food and atmosphere! We had the unexpected pleasure of dining while two musicians performed! Tried the Bruschetta for the first time and it was so good. Our second time here and will return.

This was our first time visiting. Food was ABSOLUTELY awesome & quaint atmosphere. The reason I give it 3 stars is because we received our food lukewarm. our waitress was super busy so our service was slow and it took a while to get our food. It s a little pricy especially to receive lukewarm. I should have brought to there attention but we didn t want to wait any longer. Hopefully it was an off night. I would have given it a 5.

We enjoyed a great meal and topped it off with a trio of fantastic desserts. The food was prepared with fresh, quality ingredients and the portions were generous. The Seafood Fra Diavolo was a delicious combination of shrimp, scallops, calamari, mussels and clams simmered in a rich red sauce with mushrooms and onions atop a bed of pasta. The Seafood Alfredo was really good, too. I thought that the prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. I will definitely return next time we are in Boone.

When a local tells you to go somewhere else..........

When a local tells you to go somewhere else.......LISTEN.
So where do I begin.....we were seated upstairs and I immediately notice how cramped it is, take out a table and give people a little room to breathe.
So the food.....first to arrive was our ceasar salad and for some reason it tasted like it had vinegar on it, so we ask and they tell us they put lemon on it......it was so bad we couldn't even eat it so they tell us it will be taken off the bill.....o thanks.
The main entree arrives 40 min later. One order of ravioli which had no complaints, and order of seafood alfredo and seafood ale Vodka. Both contained scallops which were gritty and had no sear on them. They looked as if they had been boiled. The sauce had the (skin) forming on it from sitting, I guess that's what took so long.
I'm not sure where they got half the pictures posted of food but they definitely were not from this place. I would avoid at all costs.

Food is just ok. Probably equal to Olive Garden. But I m giving it a low rating because the only two times we went here, twice we asked if certain things costed extra and were lied to and then had extra charges on our bill. Come here if you like overpriced microwave food and being ripped off

Casa Rustica is a hidden jewel amongst the college town of Boone. Unlike other quick bite bars in the area, Casa Rustica offers the full luxury dining experience. The atmosphere, the tastes, the service- beyond excellent. The only downside to Casa Rustica is the high end price and the often long wait, but I often find that it's worth it.

Enjoyed our first visit last night. Great bread assortment and oil/balsamic to start. Wine was good and both of our seafood pasta entrees were delicious with well made pasta, plus consistency and flavor of sauce. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely return.

A monthly staple for us! We go regularly and my wife and I get veal marsala every. single. time. Crab dip app was excellent. Calamari is excellent. Family owned since day one. Classic recipes. Warm and inviting. The Pedroni's are superb hosts! Buon appetito!

The ambiance felt a little care worn and old. I was there with ten other people ordering different Italian dishes. It wasn't remarkable, but everyone really liked what they ordered. The portions were such that half of us took food home.

Absolutely loved the restaurant! Server was amazing only topped by the food. It is the first time that an Italian restaurant has matched the food I loved in Italy! Wish it wasn't just a vacation option! Aubrey was a wonderful waitress would love to have her take care of us again.

The first thing that I noticed when I walked in the restaurant was that the atmosphere was outdated. The service was horrible and the food was even worse. I had the Chicken Alfredo, the sauce was overbearing and the noodles were like mush (very overcooked). No one finished their food at our table and did not get a box. The prices were crazy for the terrible quality food.

SUPERB service and WONDERFUL Italian based meal selection. We tied with Casa Rustica for Alignable's "Boone's Small Business of 2018," but that has nothing to do with my review (just a full disclosure). Our last client/friend/ guests remarked that the Salmon was the best she'd ever had. And she has traveled near and far!!! We started with the Bruschetta and it was divine though we could have eaten 2 orders for the table. Chicken Parmigiana got rave reviews as did the grilled Chicken Alfredo. I am also a bit of a bread freak and was happy with my selections here

Had a great experience with food and service. I ordered the special (a delicious shrimp pasta dish) and had leftovers that I had again tonight and reminded me of our great evening. We had Italian food but have been assured by others that the steaks are also excellent.

Absolutely amazing and so accommodating. On an extremely busy night we called with a table of 6 and they got us in super fast and even in the back room away from everyone as we had a one year old and we didn't want to disrupt everyone's dinner! We had planned on going elsewhere but there was a 1-2 hour wait there so we found casa rustica . I am so glad we did it was one of the best meals weve had. The fresh pasta and amazing dishes were to die for along with the homemade desserts and our bills weren't high at all and some how we brought home a ton of food! Our waitress was so attentive and caring and the bartender got our litttle one coloring pages and was so helpful it was definitely a family feeling restaurant that we cannot wait to return to ! I am so glad the other place was busy because it led us to this amazing place ! Thank you so much for a great experience

We got the food to-go because the weather was getting bad, but when we got back to our condo to eat, it was really, really good. We had the chicken parmesan, and spinach lasagna and they were both great.

The overall experience was very disappointing. The food that was delivered took forever, it was cold and the order was messed up. The waitress was very nice and apologetic and recognized that it was not up to par and did not meet our expectations. The restaurant manager should have stepped up and talk to us. The couple sitting next to us was also dissatisfied. For the prices the restaurant charges the service and food should be top notch.
We will not return to this establishment.

DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE!

DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE!
The one star is for the bread and butter that came "with the meal"after we had to ask for it. I eat Italian everywhere I go because, well I'm Italian. This was the most disgusting, over rated, over reviewed food ive ever eaten. Let's start at the beginning.
It's in a log cabin that has no relative decor and from Wal-Mart. . no music of any type.
There were so many tables crammed in to the rooms that you either bumped into them or had to ask them to slide in so you could get past. This translated into the loudest Italian dining experience I've ever had. My wife and I could barely hear each other, it sounded like a college cafeteria.
The waiter, Ian, does not understand that great service leads to great tips.
We sat down at 715 and ordered by 725. nothing but our water came in the next 15 mins. The antipasto we ordered had melon on it, never seen that before, a pile of canned green olives,a pile of red olives, 4 artichoke quarters, and a small pile of pimentos...they all looked and tasted like they were bought from Wal-Mart. Ian refilled our water only twice in 1.5 hours. Our salads came 10 mins after our antipasto. As we waited for our mea I finished my canned beer and placed the glass and can to the side of the table. It was never taken away even though Ian walked by several times. 3 different couples came, sat, were served and left before Ian finally came back and asked "do you want your food now?"
I was dumbstruck. He said ok let me go "fire your plates up real quick." I'm assuming that meant microwave versus when he brought it to us 2 mins later, the top was steaming and the mushy noodles were near cold. How long they had sat there is beyond me.
My seafood fra diavola had the following on it: 3 clams, 3 muscles, 3 shrimp, and 2 scallops.... I've had this plate many times under different names and they all came with at least double of each sea food. The pasta was so over cooked it was almost breaking apart.
My wife's pesto Alfredo was so bland, cold, and mushy she didn't even ask for a to go box, leaving half of it behind. Her dish came with chicken but the amount of chicken on her plate was ridiculous. It was maybe the size of a tenderloin.
Also, they told the table next to us that they would not be able to give them any wine for a while because all their glasses were dirty.
Overall this was literally the worst "Italian" restaurant I've ever eaten at. A total WAIST of $60.

Casa Rustica never disappoints! I normally get lasagna or something I've had previously, but today I ventured out and got one of the specials, which was a 28oz Tomahawk Ribeye. Didn't need a knife for my steak, it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The butter sauce on top was awesome, as were the fresh asparagus. The whole family had great meals, always the best meal of the mountain trip weekend.
