Great Italian food, pleasant atmosphere. More on expensive side.

This place is wonderful. The food was so delicious and our server, Alex was so pleasant and attentive. If you re looking for authentic Italian dishes, this is a must go!!

Best choice we've made! We're local and had our hands full. Needed a date night take out meal and just won the day with the help of the amazing folks at casa! Brought home exceptional meal and ate by candlelight with nice cabernet and smooth music. Let Rick and Eliz and the gang make your night one to remember! Excuse me I'm gonna try this amazing looking dessert and finish my wine!

Wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. Yummy veal Marsala. Good salads and nice sized portions. Jerone was a great servers to us and took extra great care of us.

Delicious, I mean really everything was fabulous. We went with another couple and we all were extremely happy with our food.

Denied service last night due to poor management decisions. Will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is a pathetic excuse of fine dinning.

My wife had been wanting to try this place for a while so we finally had time to try it this evening, I must say it was really a disappointment, from the service, to the meal its self, it was mediocre at best, not what we expected from a seemingly high end resteraunt, the service and quality of the food certainly did not warent the price. Sorry, but this really is an honest review..... ( off night maybe?)

The food was excellent. Pricing is average. My only "complaint" is a personal one. We were celebrating a special occasion. The hostess a acknowledged us when we arrived. But the server was non-challont about our special day. Disappointing.

We love this restaurant. It s always great. Never disappointed.

We made reservations for 6 people (I told them we had 2 small children). We were placed in a back room (understandably so....small kids). We had to ask twice for a booster chair and 3 times for more bread (which finally came without any butter). My husband's Caesar salad was tasteless. Our waitress did not ever stop to ask if everything was ok....we had to flag down another staff member. I know it got busy about 20 minutes after we were seated, but it still took a very long time to be served.

Fun to eat out there

This restaurant is fantastic, the pasta is fresh made in house and is delicious. Usually you find yourself saying the sauce is great and the pasta is just...there, but not here! Everything is great, the service, the food, even the prices. If you are in Boone you must visit here.

I've eaten at Casa Rustica several times and the food/service has been outstanding! Their nightly specials are always delicious.

This place was simply amazing! Great atmosphere and the food was out of this world! This will be a regular stop every time we are in Boone or surrounding areas.

I had the best Italian meal in memory there. The staff were amazing, smiles everywhere. Prices very reasonable, atmosphere nice with different sections for privacy.

Excellent service. I ordered the mozzarella-tomato stack as a salad, and then a filet mignon with veggies (dietary restrictions). The filet was soft and juicy, and filled with flavor. My companion had the arugula salad and the spinach lasagna. We had a great time in a homey atmosphere. This is a must!!!

This is our second time to bring guests there in a week. That ought to tell you something. They make the best chicken marsala I've ever had.

Loved the atmosphere ! Real italian food with a real backwoods vibe. The service left us satisfied and smiling! My only complaint; I needed a bigger stomach ;-)

If you care about the "mountain cabin" dining experience, go for this place; if you want great Italian food and don't care about the setting, go to Primo's.

Delicious food, each dish had a unique taste and a little something special added. Such a cute restaurant, was served upstairs. Cozy!

Got some food to go a few days ago... Gotta say, I was really unimpressed... Between me and the wife we got a few things to try... Honestly they all tasted the same, like bland cheese. Very little flavor... Was REALLY disappointed, specially after reading all the great reviews...

I love this place! The atmosphere, the building is a beautiful cabin, fireplace just adds that something extra!! The food is great!!!!!

Decent Italian restaurant! Nice log cabin decor and cozy interior. Food was average and the staff was a little dry.

Tasty, well prepared food. Great selection of wines too. We were there on a busy night, but service was still top notch. Would definitely go again.

Get reservations!!! Best italian in Boone! Love to spend the evening! Tiramisu is divine! Also have gluten free pasta!

Enjoyable Italian dinners our group raved about. It made for a fun evening with superb food.

Cute place. Would like to try again during regular service. We had a private event with them for lunch on 8/17 and they handled us very well.

If it weren't for our amazing server, Matt, I would be rating this experience one star. We were excited for the main course since the appetizers were fairly enjoyable. However, to our disappointment, the same could not be said about our entrees. It was incredibly overpriced and underwhelming! My Dijon Chicken pasta was very bland and my girlfriend's steak was mediocre. On the menu, the Filet Mignon was advertised as $26.99, while the steak special came out to $45 (which In our opinion was extremely over priced for what was served). It was served with lousy asparagus, a potato, and minuscule pieces of tasteless lobster meat. If it wasn't already past closing time I would have said something but we were ready to go ahead and leave.

I love and adore this marvelous place. The service is always great and the food is always to die for. A great place for formal occasions or an important date. Be ready to spend a good chunk extra for the food that is beyond worth the price tag

Went here for dinner while visiting Boone. I am originally from NJ and grandfather is Italian so accustomed to authentic Italian food. Did not disappoint. Had seafood appetizer special with oysters, scallops and tuna ceviche which was delicious. Had chicken marsala with side of penne a la vodka which was excellent. Caneolli for desert was perfect. Service was great. Would definitely eat here again next time in Boone.

Ripped off on special ? $45.00 for tiny sliver bites of awful meat... tell people your price for so called specials... way over your menu price... ruined the other great food ecperience... not coming back

We were surprised and pleased with our meal and very happy that we happened to come on the one night a week that you have Todd Wright playing the Sax!!!

We used CR catering for my sister s wedding at sky retreat in August, and we had a wonderful experience! We chose the prime rib option and it was delicious, possibly the best I have ever had. The green beans were definitely the best I have ever had! Elizabeth was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

One of the very best dinners. I had the pasta purses with shrimp and scallops. The roasted pepper sauce was delicious. Shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly. Two others had shrimp scampi that they said was great. Very good service as usual. We eat there fairly often. Always great.

Great staff and please request less salt, otherwise great food. Their homemade salsa and bean dip was just wonderful.

First 1-star review and hopefully the last. Our group was enjoying a nice evening with decent Italian food and wine, decent prices, but as we were finishing our meals it took a turn for the worse. The owner came in drunk and made a scene of an otherwise relaxed private party that was happening in the side/bar room. That completely ruined the day for the whole restaurant. Several groups left their tables because of the profanity and debauchery he was encouraging and to a group that was happy without it. All of the employees were fantastic except for the owner. They all get high reviews, but it s sad they have to work for a man like that. 5-stars for the decent food and the rest of the employees, but minus 4 for the aggressive and inappropriate owner. Poor taste.

Every time I bring someone special to Boone, this is the first place that comes to mind. It has been a staple there for as long as I can remember, and they still don't disappoint. We came on a live jazz night with a couple of professors from ASU, and it made the night even better. The wine selection is reasonably priced and expansive.

I have been dining here for over 10 years and it has always been consistent and wonderful until tonight. I ordered my usual filet blackened for takeout...it was horrible! I asked for medium temp and got rare without blackening seasoning just burned crust on the outside. I was told it would be 15 min for pickup and I waited 40 min. Also my steak had a huge fat roll in the middle, I ended up just eating salad and a baked potato. Spending $30 I have to think twice about going back

Casa Rustica is outstanding! It's my new favorite place to eat in Boone. It's a little on the pricey side, but the food is delicious and our waitress was wonderful. Make reservations before you go or else you could be waiting a very long time.

Filet Mignon was delicious with a baked potato. Good service too.

Have been to Casa Rustica about a dozen times since 2002, and our last visit on Aug. 29th was very disappointing. With the exception of the Pimento Dip appetizer (which was awesome), the food lacked taste and was not what we remembered from prior visits. The most disappointing aspect was the failure of the waitress (who admitted she was new) to indicate that the salads ordered with the meal was an extra charge. While I can certainly afford the $2 extra charge, it was a matter of principal. We have now eliminated Casa Rustica as one of our normal "go to" restaurants while visiting the Boone - Blowing Rock area.

Food was absolutely awesome, great service, felt very comfortable with their guidelines.

Very friendly staff, excellent service, delicious food from the appetizer to the dessert. The place is beautiful. We all loved it!

Best chicken parmesiana and chicken marsela we have ever had.My husband was married to an Italian for 23 years and he is picky about Italian food.Made the reservation on line,itwas so simple.The waitressMelanie was very good and the atmosphere was very comfortable.Will definetly return on our next trip and recommend to friends.

Fantastic food and house Chianti. They were very busy, but still seated timely. Great service from the hostess who pitched in and took care of us for entire meal.

The bread was good. It was obvious our waiter wanted to be anywhere else. Delmonico ribeye was a poor cut of meat and baked potato undercooked. Quality and service at Casa has regressed significantly over past several visits.

Ate here several years back and didn't enjoy it. We decided to try it again this April and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will not wait years to go again this time.
