I was expecting more from Casa Loma. The place is really beautyful and very well maintained, but you don't have a guided tour. Instead of a person guiding you, you receive a phone like device that tells you information about objects, but it is far away from a real person guide experience. For the price that we pay to go there, what we receive back is very few, you just buy your passage to se the place, which is a very nice place, but you will have not much information about it unless you are ok with the boringness of keep hearing the phone monologue. If you go, I recommend to see the movie downstairs first , it's not long and tells you about the history of the owner, than the visit will be a little bit better.

An amazing house castle definitively worth visiting. Give 3 hours at easy pace to go around with the wonderfully easy to use audio provided, it s more insightful. Late summer is a good time, cool indoors. For tourists, interesting to learn the early history of Toronto.
Not recommended for kids & only cafe in there is pricey. No cafe choices inside or in the area.

Visiting a castle is always nice, but Casa Loma got the great idea to have some audio guide follow you where ever you want to go! Many descriptions were available about what we were seeing, but there was most of the time also a number that we could enter down in what look like a cellphone / walkie talkie. It allowed the audio guide to explain us what we were looking at with nice details. We could pause, fast forward or rewind as we wanted. Really great experience

The escape room at Casa Loma was one of the coolest experiences ever. There were two different scenarios when we went. The history of the place is pretty cool and the entertainment value is through the roof. I've done many escape rooms before but this one has really exceeded expectations. An actor takes you through the escape room providing hints and a back story to your mission. I've never had as much fun at an escape room as I did at this one.

This place is cool from outside and inside. They always have so many shows going always. You also have a movie theater and food places in the basement. To find a parking is a headache even though you have to pay for that. The entrance tickets are too expensive.

Casa Loma makes better impression from outside than its interiors. I personally don't like this Toronto's landmark, but it's worth to know the history of the Casa as well as the first radars operated there. The garden is beautiful.

To use a cliche, a real "blast from the past". Highly fascinating. The "spy" display took my attention both times I visited, and I enjoyed being able to stroll through a castle in Canada that had effectively become a museum to times gone by. Old suits of armour, architecture, artillery and weapons, military uniforms (present and past), and a tower you can see across the city from, this place has a lot of highlights making it worthwhile. There's still some things I didn't get to experience while there (the audio tours, the theatre and dining events), but it's not a waste of time without them.

Giant Gothic Revival style castle with amazing craftsmanship and a huge tunnel than connects one part of the estate to the other. Super cool experience. If you're wondering if it'll be worth the time, it is.

We photographed a wedding here and came to visit a week after that. The admission fee includes a free audio guide which we loved! If you love history and beautiful architecture, plan to be here for 2+ hours. Coming on a sunny weekday helps too, a few friends did not enjoy their visit due to the weekend crowds.

This is a must see place if you are visiting Toronto. The architecture is beautiful and even better stories behind it. I suggest an audio guide in the lobby and start the tour from the top of the building and go down and across the tunnel. Stunning in the winter. We went at Christmas time

A good option for a rainy day in Toronto.

A good option for a rainy day in Toronto.
The entrance is cheaper if you buy it at the door as there is no extra fee (online fee).

The senior at the entrance was really nice!!

Coat check is $3/coat and there are audio guides in multiple languages

Very interesting place.

Very interesting place.
Parking is a bit expensive i thought. 10 dollars. You can park on the street but only for an hour.
You need about 2-2.5 hours in there.

This is a (formerly) private home that is so interesting and fun to explore. It's a great sightseeing location to learn more about Toronto's history and one of Canada's icons, Sir Henry Pellatt. His home is almost steampunk in nature, as he loved modern technology. You'll see phones in most rooms and the whole place was wired for electricity well before that was the norm. Don't miss the tunnel to the garage, potting room and stables. Kids will find this a fun experience to walk through and parents will surely learn something new.

This is a must must must go place if you are anywhere near Toronto. Every inch of the castle is full of cool details, definitely make sure you get an audio guide and walk through every floor. The gazillion rooms, secret pathways, top of the castle view... you can spend a whole day here easy.

This a place where most would never get tired of the majestic history of the castle and the beautiful interior and grounds. On site pay parking or time limited free street parking in the residential areas. Wonderful sweeping city views from the tower.

Went to Legends of Horror. The line for 8.30 was huge and the parking lot was full. The Halloween horror walk through was greatly done. Just be aware there are lots of stairs and it is pretty long. The bar in the middle was nice- it seemed popping.

Amazing! Love the tunnels and secret passage ways. Takes about four hours and thirty minutes to see everything if you do the audio tour and actually stop at everything plus watch the video in the swimming pool. What an interesting story. A "Must See" whilst in Toronto.
