I really liked it. Great that they play clips from movies filmed there. A bit hit inside in the summer as no air conditioning but we'll worth the sweat. Also worth- queueing to get to the top of the tower if you can climb spiral and narrow staircase!

It's said one of key attraction in Toronto, but it is really expensive $30 per person. I don't feel that worth to checkout.
Weekend are always crowded, limited car parking facility
They should probably reduce the ticket price.

The exterior really was castle like, but there was construction going on which was quite disturbing. It costs $30 to go in which I think it s a bit pricey for an ordinary museum visit. It was a good exercise walking up the hill to get to the castle though.

I didn't want to come. In Europe there are dozens of castles and real manors. It didn't seem to make sense to see a copy made in the 1800s. Then I saw the illustrative brochures and I realized that it was a dwelling built by a very rich man to celebrate his wealth. Moreover, this dwelling was used for filming horror films.
I decided that it was a typical phenomenon of the place and that it was appropriate to visit it.
Luckily. The place is interesting. Very.
And very nice too.
We also happened to see the guests at a reception (there are receptions) and on the top floor there is also a military museum. The landlord was a fan of militaria and had managed to get the command of a department.
To visit absolutely.
There is also a parking lot. For a fee.

The castle is okay if you have been to many historic homes and castle or estates, it's kind of small in comparison to others. There's a free audio tour handheld device. However, what is really cool about this place is the Legends of Horror in the month of October. Amazing actors, lighting, projections and the whole event details were planned so well. I have been to a lot of haunted houses, haunted hayrides, King's Dominion Fright Night, and Busch Gardens' Howl-o-Scream, but Casa Loma is far better. Well done to the cast and crew. If I more time in Toronto with a group, I would do the Escape from the Tower escape room.

Hi , me and my friends visited Casa Loma on August 25, 2018. The entrance price is very high. Castle hasn t been renovated for a long time, floors should be repainted and walls too. My mother is 75 years old , we visited Casa Loma together on August 25 , 2018. She has diabetes, she wasn t feeling well and we went to the cafeteria at 4 pm . Cafeteria was closed , because my mother didn t feel well I asked a girl who worked in the cafeteria if I can buy a bread for my mother , she told me that they closed and won t sale a bread. I think it s cruel and rude. My mother could die. I won t recommend to visit Casa Loma to anyone.

I visited Casa Loma this summer in August and I have to say that it was highly on of my favorite activity's that we got do while visiting! This castle/mansion is really clean and is enjoyable for everybody such as a scenic castle and its history. It is optional for an audio tour if you would like to learn more about the castle. Also, in the castle they have an underground tunnel leading to a horse stable and more history about the earlier time period. In a matter of fact you should come earlier so you have a lot of time in one room but it look me about 2 and a half hours. Overall I really enjoyed this place and hopefully I can return!

Wow! This place is beautiful. Ever wonder how premium can a life be? You will get to see a palace of dreams. I liked the concept of the audio tour. It will take you 3 hrs to complete. The best part is going to the top and feeling the refreshing air!!

We went the Saturday before Christmas. We had a good visit but there were tons of families with young kids there for the various Christmas activities. I think we would have enjoyed our visit a lot more without the crowds. The torrents and tunnel/garage were all very interesting. One recommendation if you do go during Christmas would be to go late afternoon, so you can see all the lights.

When you approach the doors of Casa Loma for the first time and see the admission price, you second guess your reason for coming. Then you opt to go in because you're already there so why not. You pay the $30 cdn fee and enter in. At first glance, it's a grand room with vaulted ceilings but not really that impressive.
Next you get in line for your audio tour handset and suggested to start at #2. Once you start doing the tour, you're hooked.
An amazing and mesmerizing experience unfolds as you go from room to room and listen to the history detailed behind everything you see. Time seems to melt away and three hours later, you feel like you've just stepped back in time and came back to the present with a satisfied smile of this wonderful experience you're so glad you paid the high admission price for.
I highly recommend this place to visit and experience all it has to offer. Best self-guided tour we've had world-wide to date.
