Food was well prepared and delicious!! Portions generous. The decor is fantastic.

Omg amazing athletic Cuban food. From the food, service, atmosphere, drinks (Mojitos) I live in Chesapeake Va. It's worth the 3hour drive we well definitely return!!!!

I initially came because I ve seen what the business has done for the community since the beginning of Covid, then the fact that is Caribbean food and a small business #shoplocal!
then I was came and the space feels open and relaxed, ample parking, super clean and Miguel greeted me with a smile I could see even with his mask on. I ordered Ropa vieja, plantains and guacamole and everything was DELICIOUS (I m even including a pic of the dish where the ropa vieja WAS because I devoured it ) The food came out super fast and Miguel s service was as amazing as the food. Basically thumbs up and looking foruward to coming back again and again!

Ordered a family meal for 4 and the kids enjoyed every bit of it. Only downside is the rice in the order was just enough for 2 people but we made it work. Typically rice being one of the more inexpensive items carribean restaurants offer they are fairly generous with their servings. Something we will take into consideration in the future.

If I could give 0 stars I would.. Nothing authentic about this Cuban food. Was very excited to try this place out with my family and close friends, service was terrible, food was bland, had no flavor at all.
This restaurant claiming authenticity of Cuban food is not accurate, living in Miami before moving to NC I know what real Cuban food taste like, the food we ordered had no flavor.
'Un poco de todo' plater, the picadillo was missing at least salt, the pernil had no flavor, the ropa vieja was not good at all, the yuca tasted as if they just took it out of being boiled and placed it on the plate, no mojito sauce to the yuca.
Was really disappointed in my overall experience, not to mention they ran out of white rice?!?! My best friends wife ordered her steak with white rice and black beans, the waiter gave her yellow rice. When she mentioned to the waiter he placed the wrong rice on the plate, he said "we ran out of white rice so we gave you yellow rice", how pathetic is that... what kind of "Cuban" restaurant runs out of white rice...

Very disappointed. I m cuban and we went and ate there i ordered some croquetas which were pretty good . I then ordered the Lechon Asado and it was disgusting!! The rice was dry , the plantains were Goya store bought & the meat was served in a smaller plate full of grease NEVER AGAIN !! NOT AUTHENTIC CUBAN FOOD

Great food, first time having Cuban food and I'll definitely go back

Went here on a whim for lunch as I was missing Cuban Cuisine ever since I left a project in Miami. I ordered the Bistec de Palomilla and the portion was good for the lunch price. The Sweet Plantains were just as good as I remembered, along with the rice and beans. Complimentary bread is offered as well, somewhat of a garlic bread taste, however, it was delicious.

The steak itself seemed to be slightly overcooked and dry. Although it did not come with sauce, the waitress brought me a cup of their Green Sauce and it was exceptional.

The service was good, although somewhat slow for only 4 tables eating. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for a server to bring menus and get drink orders.

I ordered a Cafe con Leche after my meal and was surprised at the price of almost $5. It also had a slight taste to it that seemed somewhat off, compared to others I've had.

Overall, this is a great choice to have a decent meal if you're tired of the usual Wake Forest restaurants.

After seeing great reviews from customers and their posts about their work supporting the community, we finally ordered from Casa Cubana tonight needless to say, I wish I d done it earlier!!! The food was superb we re neophytes, so we went with the Cuban sandwich and the Ropa Vieja for mains both amazing! We also got the guacamole as a starter fresh and refreshing! I can t recommend them more excellent customer service on the phone, fast delivery (between a toddler and these times, we love delivery), very courteous driver, and an amazing dinner. Can t wait to order again! Please support local businesses, especially those that are so generous to our community.

My wife and I and some friends came here for dinner and sat at the bar. Preston was our bartender and server and did an amazing job with making drinks and keeping up with food as well. The food was delicious and full of flavor. We all loved it!

My daughter and I had a great experience here. We ordered a vegetarian sampler and then flan for dessert. The food was delicious. Our waitress, Esther, was delightful. She was friendly and gave us excellent advise. Can't wait to go back.

Possibly one of the worst Cuban restaurant, the pork was grizzly the rice was terrible, frozen food, not Cuban at all! Don t waste your money

Great Cuban food in Wakefield, North Raleigh. The food tastes good, it s not greasy. Great customer service and attention. Prices are moderate, especially during lunch hours, Monday thru Friday. I strongly recommend. Great for the family.

So...I really feel bad for this because this resturant has great potential but clearly missed the mark. We are currently under order to take out only. Love the idea that this small business could stay open and serve families in the most hygienic way. Two stars because they weren't equipped to actually be open and have great service. We ordered the family meal deal with 2 meats 3 side..25 bucks Is a great deal right?! Well I was informed they ran out of beans but needed 30 minutes for a new pot. I complied. We arrived 40 minutes later...the lady at the window seemed clueless about my order. It became clear several folks were answering the phone but didnt share the info with anyone else in the restaurant. First red flag...after she figured out that we did in fact have an order there were still no beans...she asked us to wait 10 more minutes ok this is a total of 50 minutes at this point...30 minutes later still no beans. I'm irritated at this point because why not just tell folks no more black beans tonight.I started to notice cars lining up waiting for service. Iconsidered leaving as other folks were doing. I was like today was the day they decided to make food for the public. I walked past a customer complaining about portion size. Meeting me at the door was the staff member with my food warning that the food was still very hot. We paid and left.
Get home and yes the portions were extremely small for 4 but at least we had food. And those beans that we waited eternity for were welll....hard and undone. The steak was vinegary and bland but the chicken was seasoned well. Would I give them a other opportunity??...perhaps on day I have far more patience. I wont be rushing back anytime soon. I think they should have closed if they couldn't deal with the volume. All money isnt good money and can translate to a poor review.

Let me start by saying I'm Cuban. I was excited to eat Cuban food and went there with my husband for his birthday, which I told the owner because he asked on social media that we tell him if we were going because they were just opening the new restaurant. When we got there, the owner was present but he made no mention of the birthday, did not come by to wish my husband a happy birthday, did not even talk to us at all, and there were only two other customers at the restaurant. He was just hanging out by the bar. This would be no big deal if at least the food was good. It was not. It was bland and not authentic. They were out of chicken croquetas, the mashed potatoes in the papas rellenas tasted like the great value instant mashed potatoes I made the mistake of buying once at Walmart. It was awful and disappointing. The congri was unbelievably dry, like it was made in the periodo especial with no oil (if you're Cuban you know what I'm talking about), and the oil the congri was lacking was added multiplied by ten to the puerco asado. It was disgusting and oily. I'm not a person who leaves food on the plate but this I had to. I couldn't finish my food.
I've had better tasting pork at Golden Corral, and that's not a compliment to them, it sucks. It just had no flavor.
And on top of that, it's overpriced. If I remember correctly, we got two papas rellenas, almost bite sized, for 7 dollars? And like three croquetas for and extra 7 dollars.
I know many Cubans who came here and hated it. People who are giving this place more than two stars have never had real Cuban food. This people are making us look bad. Cuban food is delicious. This isn't it.

I picked up lunch for my family and a few friends. It was ready quickly and so very delicious!! The Papa Rellenas were everyones favorite. I can't wait to be able to eat in!

Unfortunately i have to give it a one star. Had great expectations of this place. But received bad service from staff, and owner. First we were told we had until 5pm to eat and leave cause they had an event happening. It was 3:45pm. More

Definitely not CUBAN! I am Cuban and I was excited to finally have a Cuban restaurant in the area of Raleigh but my experience was horrible congris was precooked and had green olives the real congris does not have that . Food is very blend . Neither me or my friends and family will be back.

Casa Cubana is a great place for tasty food. If you come before there "party" hours the atmosphere seems a little disappointing but the servers and staff are attentive, helpful, and friendly. I ordered the Havana Chicken Sandwich and my wife had the Cuban and they were both very good. They have an decent selection of Rum. The for an appetizer we got the fried chicken chunks and they are great with the Cilantro Ranch but if you are not a fan of really Spicy stuff don't get them with the Avacado Sauce. It is really Spicy.

Always hot and fresh as the first time I visited. Today was a little busier 8/23/2020. We are from Miami, awesome for them l hope they continue to be busy we need them in the community

Absolutely the best Latino food I have ever tasted. Red Snapper, chicarrones de pollo etc etc. It's all great! You don't find flavor like that anywhere else. You must try it, I guarantee it!
