I feel like the restaurant is still growing and I am fine with that. They have only been open a few weeks and you can tell that it is a work in progress. Do I think you should stay away until they mature a little NO WAY!
The sign for the previous business is still on the outside of the building. It is confusing for sure I would turn off the power for it until the sign arrives. The service was slow despite the dining room only having about a dozen patrons.
The food was good and was presented well. The Mojito's were OMG Delish! They would have to be at $8.50-$12.75 each. My family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids 5 & 7 with 1 Mojito drinking water for everyone was expensive at around $70.
The restaurant is an evolving work in progress in my opinion. I think you should go and contribute to its growth. We need more Cuban food in the area.

We went for the first time upon recommendation and thought it was great.
Shrimp Mafungo and Ceviche were outstanding. We also had the veao ropa which was delicious.
Service was great and owners were very friendly and gracious.
Will be back (for the Cuban sandwich) and would definitely recommend.

Our first experience was take out. If this is how good take out is, I can t even imagine how good it is if we were to eat at the restaurant!!!

We had the Tampa Cuban, Bistec Palomilla, Vegetarian Platter, and Croquetas. All was great!!! All were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauces included were tasty and paired perfectly with each dish.

Can t wait to eat at the restaurant!

Highly recommend for everyone to try!

I ordered the mango mojito and it tasted real good! Thing is that the food is just ok. Being married to Cubans, my family and myself did not feel that it was authentic Cuban food. We eat Cuban food daily and wanted to find a place to eat out. This is not that place. The food is overpriced and the ropa vieja tastes like it was canned meat???.... I had to eat my friends food of ropa vieja because the ceviche I ordered was spicy even though I asked if it was and was told that it was not spicy.... I would return for the mojito, but not the food...

If I can give it less than one star I would but there s no way of doing that number one for a Cuban restaurant to run out of white rice it s on thinkable in them for the food I felt like I was at McDonald s in a Cuban restaurant the rice was cold the pork was more like Greines the ropa vieja I couldn t begin to tell you what the seasoning was that they use but it just tasted dry I would not recommend this place at all if you really want Cuban food you have to go somewhere else this is not it do not judge it by this restaurant Worst meal that I ve had in many many years I don t rate many restaurants or any place but I was compelled to with this place

I was expecting a Caribbean atmosphere, totally empty and little service, quality of food not very good. Dry Cuban sandwich and poor taste, likewise. The pork masses where is the Cuban flavor? We ordered an appetizer of jam on croquettes. With ranch coriander dip at the arrival of the order, they didn't have the same dip that the dip of the empanadas served us typical PR mayketchup. It's just feedback I hope you can improve .. good luck!

Oh my God.

Oh my God.

Great mohfongo! Affordable weekly drink specials. Excellent variety platters to sample rare, diverse, and interesting cusine.

As a foodie I would say this place is an oasis of authentic Cuban culinary delights in the middle of the hum drum boring chains.

Definitely returning to try their awesome sandwich options!

My husband and I ate there this past Sunday. Iam Cuban, so I can sincerely say that the food was not good. I ordered a stuffed yuca, and the waiter came back to tell me that he was sorry, but they were out of stuffed yuca. My husband ordered the entry "A little of everything " and they were out of ropa vieja. Definitely we're not going back.

The staff were not friendly, it took 20 min to even get drink orders, out of certain fountain drinks, use of vege-all in a can, claimed use fresh vegetables, portion size small for huge price, took hour and a half to get meal, bar staff non friendly, waitress neglected us, we needed drinks to go with meal, couldn't even get a refill, very slow service, ordered Cuban sandwich but the cooks left out the shredded roasted pork, had to be remade, by then rest of table was ready to go. Will not return, over priced, lousy service.

The set up is quaint. Service was not the best. Place wasn't full and we had to wait to get our drink orders in, then the server wasn't knowledgeable of what was on tap. I ordered a bucket ($16.50) and waited for 45 mins before it was brought to me and by then the ice was melted so drink was watered down. Food is ok, being raised in Miami, I was really hoping to have the taste of authentic Cuban food but I was disappointed.

The cinnamon sticks with ice cream was also delicious (sorry, I don't remember the names of all the dishes). We'll definitely be back!!!

Take out order: I didn t get plantain with my platter though advertised and did not get avocado sauce which I PAID FOR. This was an online order and my first time dining here. I sat outside in the parking space for almost 20 minutes after having notified them that I was there. I should ve checked my order before I left but it was curbside pickup and raining so I didn t. I don t feel like driving back up there and frankly wouldn t have to if it was done correctly the first time. The dish is so spicy it s hardly edible (and I love spicy food). Spiciness should be specified on the menu. Needless to say, I won t ever be going back and will deter others from doing so.

My husband and I ordered takeout for our anniversary dinner and couldn't have been more amazed! The only other time I had Cuban food was in Puerto Rico and Casa Cubana is 10 times better. The entire menu is fantastic. We plan on going back, thank you!

Finally got to stop by and try Casa Cubana. I've been looking for a good cubano ever since I moved to North Carolina from Florida. I've tried a few different places in the Triangle area, and while they were good, they weren't spectacular. Let me tell you. Casa Cubano is spectacular! Everyone is warm and inviting, the atmosphere feels like you're back in Florida. And the food. Dios mio the food! The cubano couldn't have been more on point. And there's just so much flavor in every bite! Heaven on a plate. And you don't have to wait long for your food, and presentation is gorgeous (gotta admire the dishes before you eat 'em!) Prompt and the servers are beyond courteous and attentive. Stayed for dessert. The cheese flan was divine. I can't wait to come back and experience more! Now we have the best empanadas AND cubanos in the area! Give 'em a try. You won't be disappointed!

Food was pretty good, but ordered a lunch portion. Server came back to the table to ask whether I wanted the lunch or dinner portion, and again I said lunch. When the check came, I was charged for the dinner portion. I pointed it out and was told they don't do lunch portions on weekend. OK, then how about stating that on the menu? Or having the server not offer it? Instead, I had to pay $6 more than I anticipated for more food than I wanted. Not cool.

Update: second visit went worse than the first. Probably won't be a third.

Excellent place to grab some great food and the best mojitos ever. Reasonable prices, large portions dedicated and caring staff. I would encourage everybody to try this restaurant. I used to live in Richmond VA in the 90 s and used to go to Havana 59 and loved their Cuban sandwiches. I haven t found anything close until tonight at Casa Cubana. If you love an authentic Cuban you ve got to give this place a try. Thanks for excellent food & drinks and the great service. We will be back.

To start things off the water tastes horrible. There was a special event and they were packed so service was horribly slow, we never even got refills of our drinks. Our appetizer to share was two empanadas (#1 spinach and chicken and #2 ropa) they were both delightful - flavorful, flaky while also being crispy.

Regretfully our entrees were disappointing. Bistec de pallomilla was horrible! Tough cut of beef with unappetizing color and equally unappetizing flavor. Supposed to be served with white rice and black beans but the black beans were absent. The fried plantains were perfect.

Second entree was un poquito de todo. The ropa and yucca were surprisingly good, served next to tasteless, Luke warm and greasy lechon asado, and COLD picadillo that looked really good but was missing something.

It was amazing! Came with some friends and sat at the bar, the food and drinks were great. Our bar tender Preston was phenomenal at making drinks. We all ordered classic Mojito's and it was one of the best I've ever had. I ended up ordering the Jerk chicken entre with fried plantains and rice. It was so good I finished everything.

We were seated and then ignored. Took ten minutes to come get a drink order. After another ten minutes without drinks we got up and left. Only two other tables in the place .... a table of two and a single diner. The food may be good but we didn t get that far. Service or lack there of make this not worth the trip. Three employees watched us get up and walk out without saying a word.

I really like Cuban food and I really wanted to have a good experience at Casa Cubana, but it wasn't to be. I placed a pickup order for two sandwiches by telephone and then I had to wait a total of 55 minutes to receive my order while waiting in the restaurant's parking lot. The sandwiches were prepared with very little care and had a below average flavor. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I accidentally happened upon this restaurant and I guess that this was my lucky day
I ordered a Pina colada and a Havana Chicken sandwich with fries. The taste was to die for, it was very flavorful and Colada was very smooth and tasteful. The fries was some of the best I have every had you could actually taste the freshness. Great customer service. I believe that I have just stumbled on my favourite hangout place. I will definitely be going back.

This was our first time but not the last. If our next visit is as good as this, it will become a real favorite regular stop. Three adults shared the Rumba Sampler, the Shrimp Ceviche appetizer, an order of Chicharron de Polla crispy marinated chicken plus an extra side of black beans and a basket of freshly baked Cuban bread for $50. That includes 3 take-home leftover boxes after we were all too full to take another bite. Everything was hot, fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. I can't say if it is authentic, but it sure is good. It isn't spicy enough for us, but we solved that with my purse-sized hot sauce. The service (especially our waiter Grayson) was spot-on professional, friendly and fast. You really need to give this place a try. You can place a family-sized order online and pick it up, as I saw many people doing tonight. Make sure to support them!!!

We had a less than ideal experience but the owner reached out to address our concerns, there is a lot to be said for this level of attention to a business. We will give it another shot to see if our second experience is better than our first.

Went there 2 nights in a row. First night the service was lousy with several menu items not available. The food, however was excellent. The 2nd night thinking a take out order would avoid bad service, I was wrong. Was called back by the restaurant when we were pulling into parking lot to tell me the sandwich I ordered wasn't available. Told them to just give me a sandwich, because I am frustrated. Food was good again, but I don't recommend.

I normally would have nothing but amazing things to say but the last few times we ve ordered they ve messed it up. Figuring we d give it one more chance, we just picked up food today and I got raw chicken and uncooked yucca. When I called to advise them of this all I got was I ll let the chef know and then they hung up. I got no sort of apology, especially for allowing raw chicken to be given to a customer smh!!!! If I would ve eaten this I could ve gotten very sick they did not seem to care when I called and expressed this! This not good customer service whatsoever!!
