Waste of time and money. Have customers Toyota Camry.
Step 1 file claim.
Step 2 wait for call.
Step 3 disassemble engine to find cause of problem.
Step 4 send pics of failed part.
Step 5 wait for call.
Step 6 find out that they won t cover it.
Toyota has a tsb for defective threads in the block, so the head bolts don t hold. They don t cover head bolts even tho the bolts are not the cause of the problem.

Although I've been in the automotive industry for many years, I'd not had any experience with Cars Protection Plus. That being said I have had the benefit of having an incredible Rep on their behalf by the name of Lauren Capro. It's not often when questions or concerns or knowledge of their product is properly introduced and the necessary time taken to ensure proper explanation to customers and an ease of completing contracts etc. I highly recommend you research and contact Lauren even if you currently have a warranty company. I'm looking forward to building our customer service and retention through a quality product and representative such as Lauren and CARS Warranties.

My dealership sold CARS Service contracts for years. It was a great experience. I was always sure that the customer knew exactly what the were buying. From experience I know that a lot of dealers only say "Yep this will take care of it". If you are spending your hard earned money either read the contract or ask questions. The brochures very well explain the coverages and limits. CARS was very much engaged in assuring that my customers were happy and taken care of. I never had a problem with calling in and getting any situation that did not have abuse issues taken care of.

I bought a used car and bought this warranty in good faith. My car broke down 2 months after I received it and I have been giving the run around. Take it to a Hyundai dealer... Hyundai dealer said no it is too old. It is a 2007, but only had 84,000 miles on it. Took it to another shop,,,towing all on me. He didn't want to tear it down to show where the hole in my engine was. He said they are looking for a reason not to pay. OKAY now I have to tow it back to my home??? Then I am told if we find someone to tear it down and I do need a new engine it will only pay $3500.00 what I paid for the car... Want to know what a new engine cost more than 9000.00 a used one closer to 5000.00. Now I have to pay all the rest plus labor. Was this ins. worth it??? NO! Thanks for nothing!

We have a 2013 work van that a spark plug blow out of the engine, we had it towed to a reputable GM service provider in town and had the work completed professionally, quickly, and no word back from cars protection plus. Since the van is used to service our clients in the area, speed is of the essence. We saved all receipts and contacted Cars protection Plus who rejected our claim based off their fine print policy of "ANY REPAIRS PERFORMED PRIOR TO AUTHORIZATION WILL BE DENIED". We are curious how many other warranty holders have been denied fair service. If Car protection plus wants to speak to us, we are here to listen.

After purchasing this insurance I found that my car had a bad engine. My mechanic diagnosis the timing was off, Pistons damaged, and camshaft damaged. I paid to have the engine opened and inspected. My mechanic waited for Cars Protection Plus sent someone or to inspect. My mechanic waited 30 days for the insurance to pay to fix it replace the engine. Cars protection Plus, closed the inquiry because the mechanic didn't contact them. Now my insurance is about to end. Cars Protection Plus are professionals at giving the run around to not help what you paid for. Do not purchase from this company! No mechanic will work with them. It's cheaper if you just buy a new engine yourself!!!!!!!!

Buying this warranty was one of my worsts decision...

Buying this warranty was one of my worsts decisions in recent memory. They are looking for any excuse yo not honor their product. Huge waste of money,.and they are very rude and unprofessional if you are finally able to get someone on the phone. This is definitely a bad company to have a warranty under.

Also I see the owner came and left a completely fabricated response to my review that has nothing to do with my situation with the company, further showing the dishonesty and crookedness off this company, don t be like me, buy your warranty from the dealer

DO NOT and I MEAN DO NOT GET AN WARRANTY from CARS...

DO NOT and I MEAN DO NOT GET AN WARRANTY from CARS PROTECTION PLUS.
They are crooks and won t try to pay for even a 1/3 of covered parts thats in your warranty. They won t replace faulty parts that they provided and their customer service center is the epitome of Garbage truck juice.
This is just a fair warning. You re better off saving money not buying a warranty and putting it to the side just in case something happens.

As a repair facility I've spent hours on the phone with this company just trying to get paid for a repair that they approved. It's been days since the car was finished. They won't call you back & won't return emails. Very poor customer service. Also they only pay $60/hour for claims. If your shop is a higher rate then that then that's too bad. Not very good for my customer. I would say that all positive reviews are fake. There's no way they're real. BBB gives them a very poor rating as well.
