I went in with shortness of breath and I have heart disease. They rushed me in and evaluated me so quickly it was amazing. I was checked out and put in a room for observation. Everyone and everything was pretty good. It was as good visit to a hospital if that is a thing. Carroll Hospital Thank-You so much for a terrific visit

My sister passed away approximately 8 pm and all family members were not allowed to see her for the last time. I feel it was so in sensitive that family from far was turned away. Never would recommend getting treatment from them.
Had an eye problem that was addressed by the ED and referred to a specialist within a few minutes. After 30 hours of agony the specialist was able to precisely diagnose and medicate to the point where the pain was gone within hours of the visit.
They cared for me while I was juggling three kids on my own. Props to the staff that was changing the trash and brought my kiddos coloring books stickers and rubber ducks while they waited patiently with me. I had a bad experience the previous visit but I'm realizing it was likely a staff issue as today's staff is not only more attentive but better serving customers.
Sitting here since 9:30am for 2-3 stitches. Now 2:00pm and still have not been attended to. Sat in lobby for well over an hour. Now moved to room and am sitting waiting. Blood sugar getting low from not eating but no one here to assist.
My time at Carroll was not less that GREAT! From the lady that register me to the nurse that prepare me for my biopsy to the wonderful team in the lab and the doctors that did the biopsy I can't say enough. They work wonderfully as a team and everything went great. Would use them again, and again in a heartbeat.
The worse experience I have ever had in a hospital emergency room. Unprofessional nurses . Got to the 5:00pm and at 1:00am in the morning still waiting for a bed. Was told several times that my husband would have a bed soon, but continued to wait through a fire drill and saw people come and go from the ED, but still sat in the ED. Our nurses name was Aubrey and we requested to see her several times, but she never came. I finally requested to see the charge nurse, the charge nurse came and apologized. But, still we waited . 1:30am and still no bed. I overheard the charge nurse telling the receiving unit it s not fair to the patient. They have been waiting. I am disappointed and dissatisfied in the services Carroll Hospital provided. Shame on you for your poor service and rude uncaring, insensitive nurses that doesn t know what it means to provide excellent health care. The way your staff reacted, shows that they have done this before and don t care because nothing happens each time and there is no accountability.
1:38am and , I was just informed by a nurse at the nurses station in the ED after asking for an update for a bed. The ED nurse tried to call report to the receiving nurse and she refused. God help us if this is the standard of care every where in this hospital.
My experience was exceptional from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I was wheeled out to my car. The staff was compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. My wife and I were kept informed throughout the process and clearly understood what I potentially faced during the week of recovery.
I have always had good experiences with Carroll Hospital, both for myself and for loved ones who have been there, and this was no exception. The care I received was timely, appropriate, helpful, and compassionate, and those with whom I interacted with friendly and personable, and showed concern for me as a patient and a person. Well done!
