Bery bad quality of homes. Many issues with carrington properties. Horrible Customer Service. Tried to make a complaint about their new build next to our units and they block in all of the tenants with their vehicles and being a condo bylaw won t touch them. Called them to ask them not park behind me and that you guys keep blocking me in. The project manager said he will talk to them to not park behind our stalls anymore the next day they are there again. Called back and spoke to another guy said they are allowed to park there and hung up this has been an issue for a year or a year and a half. One of their contractors threatened to punch me. As he block the whole entrance and I had to leave for work and he said he can t did want to move because it wan inconvenient for him and I would have to wait and I said no and you are illegally entrapping me to this parking lot as you are taking up the whole enterance/ Exit and if he didn t move I will contact the police. Trust me you will get nothing but poor quality and headaches from this company.
I work across from this head office building and it hurts to see employee's and upper management use the handicap parking stalls numerous times over while the parking lot remains mostly empty.
I hope they will be more mindful and encourage their staff and management to be inclusive and understand how much of a privileged an able body is.
Seriously the worst, I will never buy anything from them again. I bought a condo from Carrington in 2013 and it was not in 100% perfect shape from the beginning. They made a huge issue about fixing my flooring which was scratched up when I received the condo. Once they finally came to do the flooring after months of back and forth, it was still scratched in the SAME areas that were apparently "replaced"!!
They gave me lots of attitude (terrible customer service) when I would ask about the huge job it was going to be to replace the flooring.
Bob came in to fix some deficiencies the first time and farted in my condo and the smell lingered for about 45 minutes. He kept going into the bedrooms and farting and I could smell it from my living room. I had to open windows and couldn't even leave just had to sit there and stew in it.
Carrington's staff was so wonderful and helpful. Always smiling I felt like royalty being treated so well by them (eventhough I don't look the part). Anyways! Great beautiful building, and even more beatiful people. I'm very thankful for their help.
