When you find the right BCBA and RBT it is magic. My son had to be pulled from public school due to PTSD trauma caused by his teacher 5 yrs ago. This abuse seeped into every part of his life. Elopement was his way to stay in control and wasn t able to close bathroom doors bc of the trauma. We were assigned a nice BCBA at first but this person was fresh out of college and didn t understand how the school type environment was the antecedent to his behaviors. After advocating and meeting with the clinical director, we were assigned a male seasoned BCBA who is incredible. Our RBT is unbelievable and has changed the minds of those in the clinic to see how love, consistency and a good team can impact a person. We are now back in church with no problems and our son has honestly learned to trust a learning environment again all since August. This facility is super clean, packed with very appropriate spaces to accommodate all ages and my son can t wait to go see his RBT. I do have to chase down my bills from billing but that is a minimal complaint compared to the impact my sons team has had on him. We will be placing our other child here who also has Autism.

I can t speak to the experiences of other reviewers but we have had consistently positive experiences. Everyone is very professional and responsive to my family s unique needs. The consultants are very knowledgeable and it has resulted in significant improvements. Highly recommend!!

SUCH A WASTE OF TIME! I have spent a month going back and forth with this organization in order to get services for my teenage son. I submitted numerous forms, fielded numerous follow-up calls, and was approved by insurance. Last week I received an email that we can begin the process but there would be at least a 5 month wait for an assessment. Then the next day I received a call saying that because we live in South Carolina and he is too old they won't provide services. His AGE and ADDRESS were on the first form I submitted!!! So much time and effort wasted because they didn't look at how old he is and where we live. I have no idea about the quality of the therapy they provide but the intake process and customer service stinks!

The worst clinic ever , you want aba therapy go to Easter seals , huge difference

Have spent a year going through approval, assessments, pocs, paperwork, etc to only finally begin services with the most unprofessional and inexperienced bcba and technicians. State requires a tech to only take a 40 hour class and pass a test. That's all, they now can work with your child and cause further issues and delays as they improperly work with your child. The bcba is in charge to monitor that the techs are doing right but in this case the bcba did not allow her techs to work because she herself must've known how inexperienced her techs were. Our case was the second on the waiting list in January 2017 and we just now began to only begin with barely trained and experienced techs and bcba! This company was not ready to begin treatment and has a poor level of requirements as far as certifications on technicians. If I wanted to train a technician how to help an autistic child, I'd be in the field myself. I certainly didn't go to this company to give them advice. I needed the advice, support and help but it will not come from this company. They are clueless. Do your research. Do not accept barely trained techs to be responsible for your child's well being. No child should be a "training" experience for any technician... DO NOT USE!!

my rbt is so cool she comes to my house with toys for kids like me to play with i really enjoy having my rbt around because i say so she plays mkii she brought mario uno cards for a child to play this is my experience also this is also a 2 story playground with toys!!!!!

Very unprofessional. Like others mentioned, filled numerous forms (The intake itself too several weeks). Then wait until they get approval from Insurance for Evaluation. Then wait several weeks for the actual evaluation. Then Wait until they get approval from Insurance for Actual Treatment. I left a voice mail to lady who handles billing and no response. They will never update you, you have to keep calling them. Very lazy organization and I am glad that I actually did not start the services yet through them and most likely will not (Just got the evaluation done). If they are lazy dealing with paperwork and follow-ups, I can imagine how worse their services would be (Wondering how this shows up in United Health's in-network coverage)

My RBT is Sooooo Cool! and she is the nicest girl in all of ababecause of things that i wish i never told everyone

Caring and professional staff! Always responsive with concerns or inquiries. The space is amazing for the kids with a 2 story playground! I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Carolina Center for ABA. Thank you!!!!
