I went here to see the works of the well known artists, Remington, Russell and more which were, of course, well worth it. But they also had an exhibit by two artists I'd never heard of. The brothers Scott & Stuart Gentling. There prodigious output in several media was nothing less than mind blowing. You could fairly say, their exhibit stole the show. Please do yourself a favor and go see it.

This is my second visit here this summer. For a Chinese who has only been in the United States for three years, it is very difficult to read English. During my first visit, I only understood the surface of works of art, but did not understand the connotation of works of art. Therefore, I spent nearly three hours here reading the books here with a mobile phone translator, Let me know the connotation of each art work and further understand the history and culture of the United States! I will continue to visit here

Looking for a great place, with some good AC (you Texans know what's up), to spend some time? The Amon Carter Museum is the place to go! Did I mention it's free?? I absolutely loved the Remington collection and the staff is extremely friendly. The security guards know a lot about the exhibits and willing to answer questions. Oh and face masks aren't required!

Best known secret. Beautiful redesign from 2019 with LED lights where photography and paintings and more. We had a wonderful time reading about the art works. Free, but feel free to donate because it is well worth it! Georgia O'Keefe and of course Remington's, but Soo many more artists you won't want to miss.
