As a nurse, robotic and redundantly boring job. Pointless, scripted, inapplicable questions , half of which, management doesn't even understand, fakeness is a requirement, can't be yourself, use your own words, or act human. Micromanagement is an understatement, rude and bitchy bosses with no clue what they are doing. It was several friends who decided to take over an ask a nurse business with no talent to do so. Horrible pay, take bonuses away for no reason, then call you later to pay it back because they are afraid of getting sued, lies about everything from beginning to end, had at least five different supervisors in a years time with no consistent management styles, associates degrees over Bachelor's and Masters level people, inconsistent rules/policies and everything else business related. I never called in sick, still getting bad reference's from them because I quit even though you are told REPEATEDLY it is AT WILL and they can fire you w/o reason and you can quit w/o reason.

hey, i'm writing this review to let you guys know from my OWN experience and what i went through. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY AT ALL! its very unprofessional as well as make you think that its one thing and its not. first off, i just started this job two days ago and mind you i'm still in training, they have you reading from a script out loud in front the class, while you re reading out loud they taking notes. so after all that, if you don t meet their requirements while your reading, they basically pull you in another room and tell you that, the manager doesn t feel your qualify for that particular roll. i'm writing this because, you can t judge no one on how they read the script because obviously you re still in training and of course your going to stumble over some words, that s typically if you re in training. so I'm saying this to say don t waste your time because yes they fired me on my 3rd day of training, which is pathetic and unbelievable.

The pay is better than minimum wage. What makes it better is the staff. Very friendly. But hours are not set in stone, as contracts change some times from one week to the next. And the trainers are cool. But some times the projects are up trains, where the training is quick for the project, but paid for non the less. And the environment I'd clean, and they have free fountain drinks, and coffee and hot tea/cocoa. They like to have fun, and do prizes for meeting goals.

This is the most unprofessional job I have ever had. They do not give you the hours that they promise or the hr lunch that they promised. They don't offer raises so if you're looking for growth this is not the job to apply for. Worst job ever if you ask me. You have to clock out to use the restroom.

I gave it 3 stars for the people that I got to work with other than that it was horrible. I was told that it was not a sales driven job and that was a lie all day all you heard was come on we need to get these sales etc etc. Most of the members that we called were so sick of us calling them every single day that right off the bat they started yelling at you. Also management was always flip flopping one week they had one set of rules and the next they were different. They continuously move you from one program to the next and sometimes they through me in programs I wasn't trained in and was told just to follow the script. Oh and you have to ask for permission to go to the bathroom as if you were in school and not an adult because mgmt can't seem to get the young ones to follow directions so we were all punished. The only good thing was my coworkers and the bonuses were great if you can meet the goal.

The pay is abysmal and they don t communicate well at all. Any time you email them, prepare to either not get a message back, or prepare to try to figure out what you have to do with whatever they re sending you in response to your question. Unless you re absolutely desperate for a job, don t work here.

I was hired in February and made it thru training and ojt. Anyways, right outta nesting i get pulled off the phone and into a conference room being told i didnt meet the criteria expected of me to graduate so they sent me to people services to find out when the next class was. People services was about as clueless as I was. Like really people come on how stupid can you be. How do you not know what's going on. What kind of operation are they running? So about a year later i lose my most current job and i reapplied told them i worked there briefly and the recruiting manager at the city base location pulls my file and is told i cant be rehired but whoever told her wasnt allowed to stay. I mean seriously thats some shady stuff. These places brag about what a wonderfull company they are and how they started in the basement of santa rosa hospital taking calls supporting their 20 kids and now they are recruiting manager or trainers etc. Im like um ok great if your such a wonderfull company than why do you have such a high turnover? Or why are so many people being hired and then being told they could possibly not have a job after training? Why hire so many people just to turn around and fire them later i mean really are you kidding me. This is a joke. Its bad when one of their recruiters who was my recruiter is now my recruiter at my current job.

I love Carenet!!! I work for this company and its the best job I've ever had in my life.First of all I want to say that I read the negative comments and they are not true. Thus company deserves a Five Star Rating. They take really good care of their employees. The CEO of the company is very nice to us all of the Vice Presidents are nice to us .They treat us like with respect they do not ignore us I've never been at a company where the CEO gives you a fist bump and high fives .The people in People Services are amazing they are nice to us.Ms Jane is an amazing person she cares about us and the Vice President Frank always talks to us .They are always smiling. The building I work in is Amazing our New Director is Amazing he makes sure we are OK and always nice to us .Our Manager Sergio is Amazing always making sure we are doing OK .They are always smiling with us and they do care about us .We have lots of different programs and we are trained very well for it We have amazing trainers .I just want to say this is the best place you could work for and if for some reason someone quit and left the job and leave negatively comments it's maybe because they did something wrong because the people who I work for at Carenet Are the best .They give away prizes they understand when your sick they are motivators they allow us to have pot luks. They also barbecue for us they also do fun events for Fiesta and Christmas and other events. They let us be who we are.We all get along with each other and everyone says hi to each other. They do so many things for us .We have good employee benefits and they have free coffee and free fountain drinks .We also get to wear jeans and sandals on dress down days .They have neat taco trucks for us.They are the best and say this with all respect and from the bottom of my heart. I am forever grateful to them.If you are looking for a job this is where you should apply to because the bonuses are also good. So please ignore the negative comments that people have mentioned because that's not true. I'm a person that's honest. I thank you for considering me for this position, ...

I thank you for considering me for this position, however the fact that I spent so much time submitting forms, answering questions getting a landline and so on and so forth speaks very ,very poorly of your company. I can understand other people being more prepared than me, just like there's others less prepared than me as well. Candidates submit an application, then they are interview by who I think it's a temp person, next, forms need to be filled out via e-mail which requires phone numbers, type of internet at home, a landline, who my internet provider is and so on and so forth. Next another phone interview with someone giving scenarios of possible emergency calls, and I gather candidates are scored based on the answers. In my experience I was exhausted from all the questions, that during the last one I really didn't care if I got the job or not. By this time I Just wanted to hang up the phone.. By this time the candidate is tired of the process, tired of submitting paperwork, answering e-mails, answering questions, asking questions. that at this point I do not care if I got the job or not, I just want it to be over. Your hiring process needs to be upgraded. If you are having trouble finding nurse, there is your answer. I will be writing a review as to the worst possible screening process I have ever seen. I have been a nurse for almost 20 years , and I have never been scrutinized as you all did. I was applying for a nursing job, not for a job at the white house. I have never written anything about anyone , ever! But I don't want people to have to go through , this senseless, unprofessional waste of time.

Love this job,it really isn t for everyone like every call center, some people just aren t meant for customer service in a call center. I ve worked in a lot of different environments but to be honest it is a piece of cake, I m not constantly getting yelled at by rude people on the phone, management is great, like all jobs there are pros and cons but the pros definitely outweigh the cons, the job is really simple and easy, and I don t have a criminal record. If someone is complaining about working here, it s probably because they A) sucked at their job or B) Didn t follow simple procedures. The job pays fair, the bonuses are great. Easy metrics to hit, there s really only 3 metrics, The pay and hours of working are discussed with you when you get hired. In my personal opinion I don t understand why people complain about the pay when they do not have a college degree. And if you have a college degree it s not needed here because all you do is take information down or transfer.

Horrible Human Resources team. How do you ask someone about their resume and then they answer the question but later on you say that s not the correct answer. I m so glad that I dodged that bullet.

They will literally hire anyone. Such a disgusting...

They will literally hire anyone. Such a disgusting ghetto work environment and it's not worth it. I was literally assaulted by an old woman and I was 4 months pregnant at the time. THAT is what you will be working with. Beware. The bathrooms in buildings are so disgusting people literally smear their stuff on the walls, throw their bloody tampons and pads on the floor, and it reeks to high heaven of sewage. People services is a joke and though it may look nice up there back in the actual work environment it's so disgusting. Dont think they look even close to the same. Classy ladies walking around with ankle monitors and I seriously wish I was kidding about that. Management doesn't care about ANYTHING you ask for or need. Absolutely no assigned seating so good luck if all seats are taken. There's a reason they will literally hire anyone that walks in the door. It's a constant revolving door of employees because people realize how crappy it is and run out of there as fast as possible, and the new employees catch on very quickly too. My advice is seek employment literally anywhere else. The pay straight up sucks. And because my project paid a differential it's like adding an extra dollar into paychecks was math only Einstein could do because there were ALWAYS problems with payroll. The whole place is a joke and strictly for people that can't work anywhere else due to criminal record or anything else. But hey if you like soda and coffee machines that NEVER work and Spanish speaking workers that can't understand anything you say when you request it to get fixed, mold floating in your water from their "ice and water machines", no parking like EVER, having to park next door in the back of the hotel, homeless people breaking in and sleeping in the bathrooms (literally happened too), never having a desk to go to, micromanaging, paying THOUSANDS of dollars in a deductible for just medical insurance, and my personal favorite is management picks and chooses who is required to follow rules; GO FOR IT. I really wanted to like it here I really did and stuck it out hoping it would get better. Nope!! But it says so much about a company that there is little to no requirements to become employed. Good luck if you choose to work here.

The bosses and managers are friendly and understanding. The company culture is very good . Sincere family oriented company. There are always weekly pot lucks and employee appreciation events free to employees and family members such as Sea World and Fiesta Texas. Not the usual Call Center more of a "Care Center" with clients that are health and medical based. One of the biggest programs with team members and Nurses is the 24/7 Nurse Advice Line. Highly recommend.

As one of your fellow ex employees, I am horrif...

As one of your fellow ex employees, I am horrified by the direction CareNet has taken under managements poor leadership.

Your Do what s right

Is not the real philosophy. A good leader looks at employees and tries to make the partnership workable and profitable. Under current leadership, things have become progressively worse and there are disturbing internal issues threatening the integrity of your company.

For example: managers will remove employees break time if they go over (15) minutes without notice to said employees. I have proof of this. And even send a Verint coaching of their illegal activities (wow) Robert Torres will gain up on you with his favorite employees. He told me I thought you would fit in here, but I don t know what happen . Then the Hispanic speaking employees would call me white boy in Spanish. When reported to HR business partner Lynn she will ignore and shut down ALL HR complains and even reply I ve known such manager for more than 20 years, they would never say such a thing I have tape recordings of their conversations providing proof. Way to go Lynn! Using personal bias to investigate HR complaints!!
Supervisor Barbara Palmer used foul language when speaking to me on production floor. Witnesses wrote statements, she was gone for a week, then allowed to return to work. On top of that, I was denied a promotion base on being in the hospital for 2 weeks. I always made sure to have more sales, SPH, and hours worked than any of my colleagues. I was part of the iLab group, and worked hard on each call to ensure sale. Thanks to employees like me, you were granted one year calling for scrip sync. Look at my overtime hours and stats. And I wasn t even given the opportunity for an interview.

Throughout it all, I am burned out and stretched to the limit.

Your current leadership, especially the ones that came from West should resign. ( they all knew each other prior it creates a conflict in interest, and hostile work environment with anyone who crosses them)

Let someone lead your company who can bring employee morale to higher levels, and grow the business as intended, treating employees with decency and fairness, not passing off a cut-rate job, and treating employees the way you would want to be treated.

Sincerely,

Someone Who Cares

Bad company!!!

Bad company!!!
I was asked to go to an interview and was told to expect to be there for about 30-40 minutes, well I ended up waiting 2 hours and a half!!!! I was already interviewed one time a different day and this time another lady interviewed me which I was ok with me, after keeping me waiting for an hour they gave me a tour of the building all around, when that was done I went back to the waiting room and finally got my third interview, (by the way my husband and son were waiting for me outside then left to drive around then came back to wait for me out side again thinking it was going to take 30-40 minutes like they said) while I was waiting for the lady to interview me I decided to text my husband to let him know to take off since I was waiting once again in a cubicle for like 15 minutes when the interviewer calls me to go with her, I had my interview and ONCE AGAIN she told me to wait for someone to come get me to take me back with my documents after waiting a while again I told her I was going to step outside to let my husband know I was almost done to take off since he didn't get my text apparently well guess what? I didn't get hired FOR CHECKING ON MY SON apparently I was too "distraught" well maybe if they hadn't had me waiting for that long I would've been fine and probably payed a sitter to watch my son all day if I knew all this was going to happen! Too unfair to say I was too distraught for checking on my son!!! Bad company I will never recommend this company to anybody!!!

I work at Carenet and I have to say that this is t...

I work at Carenet and I have to say that this is the BEST job I have ever had. Think call center without that call center environment. Tired the massive rooms with people packed in like sardines? Tired of managers walking around and acting like slave task masters? Tired Machiavellian upper management? Tired of team leads that are totally clueless? Then you will want to come here. I know you heard it all before at other places, "We care about our employee's," as the manager stands there smiling at you with a knife behind his back waiting for you to turn around. Rest assured you wont find that here. They really care about your welfare here and treat you with respect and don't talk down to you. If you have a personal issue or something that you need to take care of they are very accommodating. As we all know the majority of call centers are dead ends with no opportunities for advancement or the ability to move into a different position in the company. Here that is not so. There are tons of areas you can move into and plenty of opportunity for advancement. I have been with Carenet a year in Aug. and it does not even seem like it has been a year. If you want a REAL change then give Carenet a try. You wont be disappointed.
