Attempted to get a quote for a simple software product and got asked many specific but irrelevant questions. I responded to the questions and had heard absolutely nothing from the "senior account manager" for 2 weeks. We needed to procure this product and had time constraints which were mentioned from the start. After calling and leaving voicemails, emails, etc. I finally got in contact with the account managers superior who got in contact with them for me. After all this runaround, I finally receive an email back stating that Carahsoft was not willing to quote us and instead has sent out all of our company's information to OTHER resellers. Once I got an email from one of the resellers that Carahsoft was cc'd on, I could see the email conversation from the Carahsoft Account Manager to the other reseller, and they were COMPLETELY unprofessional and rude.
We purchased the same software from Carahsoft in the past without a hitch, however for some reason the Account Manager didn't seem to want to do their job this time around. I don't understand how Carahsoft could be such a prominent software reseller when their employees act like this.

I just hit my one year with Carahsoft, and I cannot say enough good things about the people I get to work with everyday. I absolutely love this company, and I am so thankful to have been employed with them for one year! Here s to many, many more!

One star is too much for them actually. I have requested a product from them two months ago, and I still don't have my items. They keep pulling me in all kinds of directions. Absolutely unprofessional people. Poor customer service and definitely unreliable. Don't expect anything to get done with them. They will just push you around from one dept to another. My suggestion is to go with another vendor.

I recently started working remotely for Carahsoft. They are a great company to work for. Very appreciative, caring and rewarding place to work! Very fast paced.

I've had multiple encounters with extremely shady recruiters making job offers for positions that are vital to a companies growth and maintenance and they continue to offer wages well below average or simply are just rude. I feel sorry for the approximately "1000 people" that work for this "5 billion dollar" company.

I have applied to Carahsoft four times over a nine month period. The same recruiter has never been on time for a scheduled call or meeting.

I am very fortunate to have landed a job a Carahsoft. For the last 9 years I have enjoyed the work environment, steady growth, and skills acquired. I particularly like the team mentality i get to experience on a day to day basis.

Please believe the 1 star reviews you see on here. I wish I would have read them sooner before wasting my time with them. I went through the same situation as some of the previous reviewers where a recruiter contacted me about an opportunity that they had available based on my background, spoke with a senior recruiter twice (once over the phone and once virtually) and never got any more information about this position they so called had available. I knew something was a bit fishy whenever I asked her more about details on the position. She kept saying that she had to speak with the director for more information . First off, why even contact me in the first place if you re not prepared to answer questions regarding details about your so called position? I never applied to them and never even heard about them until a recruiter reached out to me about an opportunity. Secondly, I also knew something else was sketchy about them when the recruiter sent me an application to fill out and they wanted me to list all of the jobs I ve interviewed for or applied to and how I found them in the past 60 days, which was very strange. I didn t fill out that section initially and when I spoke with her virtually, she insisted that I fill it out as it would make a great impression to the director. I finally decided to fill it out, sent it back to her, and never heard from her again. I feel like they contact you to get as much information out of you as they can and then go ghost on you. What a scam! Beware!

Work hard, play hard! Great opportunity to learn about Government procurement! I am thankful to have been hired by Carahsoft and am still happy after 5 years of employment there. Anyone who says otherwise is a sourpuss!

So I was contacted by a recruiter about a year ago, and we scheduled a time to talk again on another day. The day comes, and no response. I see similar reviews online with similar experiences. Their recruiters seem to not respect other people's time. Normally, I wouldn't leave a review but I was contacted today by another Carahsoft recruiter about an available position. I voice my experience of Carahsoft basically not showing up to a planned appointment before. She eases me and tells me that we should refresh, so I think maybe it's different this time and stop bringing up the topic. We scheduled another appointment and when the time came, guess what? No show. At this point, I think it's just a normal thing for Carahsoft recruiters to just not show up to appointments, and I'm sure they've done it to many other people.
