Capital City Nurses were carefully selected by the agency to care for my husband during the several years he needed assistance to avoid falls, and encourage conversation and ambulation. The care givers were professional, caring, and pleasant. I remain grateful!

The caregivers have been very, very good. They show up on time. They speak English very well. And they have always been very courteous and pleasant individuals. We have been so grateful for their help.
They will assist with anything we ask in relation to my family member s care.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been connected to Capital City Nurses. What's most fortunate is that even though they don't take my insurance Mr Krasue of Capital City Nurses went above and beyond to put me in touch with another home nurse organization and followed up with me to be sure I got the help I needed. Truly indebted to you all!

This firm completely dropped the ball on a good friend of mine over the recent Labor Day weekend. She had scheduled aides daily from 11-3. On Saturday no one showed up. When she called the office, she was told that someone had come at 9 and she had not answered the door, which is complete nonesense. On Sunday no one showed up, the office did not even return her call. She terminated their service on Monday.

One coordinator asks me recently: why are you doing a GNA assignment with an LPN degree?
My answer to her was: it is all about relationship... My client and I are at that point. She trusts me, I love her... Every time I open her door, she marveled my presence. And every time I don't show up when she was expected me, she always make sure to lash this phrase out at my next visit: "I am so glad that you're back".

The GNAs at my workplace know my everyday slogan to them: nursing is all about caring, and showing empathy. That's the gold standard that I find easy to leave by @ Capital City Nurses.

Capital City Nurses took extremely good care of our mother when she was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. Capital City responded immediately to the urgency of our situation. The nurses' professionalism, their empathy, and their compassion was evident every day, and they provided our mother with excellent quality-of-life to the very end. We would have been in dire circumstances had it not been for Capital City Nurses.

Capital City Nurses made the last days of my dads life that more bearable to watch. He had not been receiving the care promised by Hospice (specifically pain relief ) and I had been at his side 24/7 trying to offer him assurance that he was not alone and that everything would be okay. When I realized that I could no longer do this myself - I called Capital City Nurses. I called in the morning and they had a caregiver at my home the same day. Although they were not able to administer meds to my dad, they sat with him morning, afternoon and night. They held his hand and offered him words of comfort. They were on time and ready to work when they came. They were kind, compassionate and dedicated. The day my dad passed I laid my head in the lap of one of the caregivers ( Jean ) and cried hysterically for what seemed like forever. She didn't move - she rubbed my back and offered me words of comfort. She stayed and helped to prepare my dads body for the funeral home to come an pick up. Capital City Nurses did more for my dad in two days then Hospice did in 8 days. If you ever need help with a loved one - call Capital City Nurses first. No need to shop around anywhere else.

The nurses Bridget and Marian were wonderful, arriving on time, taking good care of me, treating me like a human being in their care, not just a bothersome client to deal with till the next one. I would have liked to stay in touch but alas we now go our separate ways. I wish them both happiness.
