My daughter went every summer to CCSC for 4 years. We lived in Europe and camp gave her the opportunity to socialize with fellow Americans for 8 weeks, although there were always a few Europeans who attended as well. The camp has diverse ethnic groups, which is great, considering it is in Cape Cod. She enjoyed CCSC immensely and we were satisfied with the variety of activities, the caring staff and supervision. I highly recommend CCSC!

I went there with school and I was surprised.(not in a good way) the cabins looked old and gross. It was kind of a sketchy place on Cape Cod to have a camp.(anyone could walk through the beach, into the camp without anyone knowing) The food was ok, enough to get me bye. The water was brownish yellow. The lunch room wasn t too bad.
I d say stick to day camp, like sports or activities.

I will be attending Cape Cod Sea Camps (CCSC) for the 5th year this coming summer. I have been part of both the day camp and sleep-away and have always enjoyed my stay at camp; it's a home away from home! I have made great friends, had great counselors and have made life long memories.

This camp was specifically created for the campers to experience a variety of water sports including sailing, water-skiing, kaiaking, paddle boarding and swimming. However the camp also offers a great tennis program, soccer, lacrosse (and several other land sports), art (all styles and focus varies per week). The camp is very well organized and has various groups that the campers are put into based on their age.

This is a co-ed camp (activities {aka. mods} are taken with boys and girls alike) but boys and girls sleep in opposite areas of the land camp is based on. The camp cabins usually have between 7 to 14 campers per cabin and campers sleep in bunkbeds. The camp provides you with a mattress, sheets, a pillow and a very light blanket (nothing special), so I recommend you bring your own blanket at the least if not also a pillow and your own sheets even though I have used the camp sheets as well and they are perfectly fine.

The food at camp is very good with options such as warm food and a huge deli bar spread. They also have a small dessert such a cookies, ice cream or a cube of cake for lunch and dinner. They also have two salad bars and a toppings section. Breakfast includes a hot meal of the day or a cereal, bread, fruit, yogurt bars. Everyone eats in a huge cafeteria a very welcoming space with out camp unit plaques that get hung up every year and are very colorful and themed.

Every day we have several mods (activities) and we usually have the same 6-7 every week (Monday through Saturday) and then on Sunday we have something called Vespers which is a very fun "ceremony" we do when every unit does something special every other week. In the mornings after breakfast we have a morning "meeting" type thing were we have announcements about sports, the weather and usually it's presented by a different cabin every week and everyone tries to get creative with it!

At the end of camp we have graduation ceremonies and awards ceremonies for every unit and camp mod as well during nights such as Cup Night and Ribbon Night. On Cup Night we get dressed up and have a delicious buffet meal and then go to the ceremony.

At out camp we are allowed to send letters to our parents and friends whenever we want (can be every day) and we are also allowed to receive letter and goody packages from parents and friends so that we can stay connected with our family and friends while we are away.

You can be at camp for 3.5, 5 or 7 weeks. This system is very flexible towards peoples who travel or are part of a team during the summer.

Lastly, I have made so many life lasting friends at this camp and have loved every second of it! I fully recommend this camp to anyone who is looking to a great time on Camp Cod and a very warm and welcoming community and I'm sure that any of my campees would say the same!

I went here for a 4h event, and the only thing I can really comment on is the food and board. With that said, it's not great. The beds are uncomfortable, and the top bunk is difficult to get in. If you're unlucky enough to have a talkative roommate, you will hear them until they stop. The food isn't good, but they've got cereal if nothing else seems
great. From the activities I saw, they seemed a little old school. I'm sure they're fun, but they just seem odd. But as with most camps on the Cape, there's sailing and swimming. The beach is cool.

We had a wonderful experience here and come every year for a trip with the school I work at. The weather was awful, but they made the best of it for us. A beautiful piece of land right on the water with plenty of space for everyone.
