Samantha Howard is the provider to see! She actually listens and remembers things. She heard me out from day one and I never was sent off with no answers like I had been before. She's extremely knowledgable and her nursing staff is always awesome as well.
Today was the last straw for us. There have always been quite long wait when going here for scheduled appointments. Last week we went for a scheduled appointment with the doctor and we were there for 2 hours. We should not have to wait as long as we did. I have never been to a doctor's office that has always taken us so long to get to see the doctor.
The final straw was today when we found out they gave my wife somebody else's results for their covid test. They told my wife she had covid then come to find out they'd given her somebody else's test and she actually did not have covid. This was a huge inconvenience for us as we had to keep our kids home from school realizing they could have gone. How do you make the mistake of giving somebody else's results?
My daughters took the babies here with a fever and cough was sent outside to wait for a call to be seen then they were refused service and told there children would not be seen this place has terrible service and for urgent care it was a 45 min wait to be told they would not be seen
My husband came in just for a covid test. Nothing else and they charged $169. We were never told that we were going to get charged for a full visit. If we would have known how much it would have been we wouldn't have gone here. Called the billing office and they were very rude when I was just calling to get a understanding to see if this is something that insurance would pay for. Finally they did tell me insurance should pay for it, so I called my insurance and they paid for the covid test but the $169 is coded as a office visit so it wasn t covered. Called the billing office again and all they say is I can t help you you will still owe money. They said I could talk to their billing supervisor, and when they transferred me it went to voicemail. I left a message but never got a call back. We will not be going to this place ever again. They are not willing to help a patient understand things and just charge a lot of money for no reason and don t care for their patients.
I went into the urgent care at this location for severe abdominal pain that I had been dealing with for a few days. I believed it to be a hernia or pulled muscle. The NP that helped me, basically stated that in order to do an ultrasound or anything further we'd have to check off certain boxes (for insurance sake). Those boxes were: ice/ heat, ibuprofen, and naproxen. I had already been doing those three things and my pain was worsening over 4 days. She went on to say that I would then have to get on a steroid and wait 5 days before I could come back in and work with the sports medicine doctor to get an ultrasound. She assured me that my insurance would not pay for my ultrasound unless I did these things first. I never once mentioned that I was worried about money or worried about not being able to pay. In fact, I was in urgent care for a reason I needed urgent care! I left convinced I had to wait 5 days and that this pain must not be as bad as I thought. Long story short, I spent the night in the ER and needed emergency surgery the next morning for a torn artery in my stomach that was actively bleeding and had been for 4 days. This care was beyond disappointing and could have been life threatening had I listened to this medical provider. If I could give negative stars, I would.
There are a lot of review on here of people scathing because they only write reviews when they are mad. There are a lot of different doctors here but I have been going here for years and I have never had a negative experience. They get you in after normal business hours which could save you a trip to the emergency room, and all the staff has been really nice and accommodating. All of the doctors I have seen are great. I especially like the pediatrics and women's care. They will take good care of you here!
I went in recently for a sinus infection. They gave me a covid test instead and wouldn't acknowledge the real problem. So I'm waiting on the negitive results before they will see me for the problem and then prescribe the antibiotics for it. Very frustrated and if not for Katie Bates I would be finding a different practice right now.
I would really like to send a special thank you to Dr.Matthew Cameron for the special care he took in taking great care in the big pain in the knee I had. I will recommend him to anyone I give him 10 stars if not more. Thanks again for getting me in and taking care of me.
I went in on a Saturday and after an exam and x-ray with the doctor available I was diagnosed with a blockage of my bowel caused by a "fiberous substance" that would eventually dissolve. I was sent home with the option of going to the hospital IF things didn't clear up soon. It was not strongly advised that I go in. While the overall diagnoses of bowel obstruction was correct, the cause, the severity, and the possibility that I could pass it on my own at home were NOT CORRECT. I went to the ER the next day (Sunday) with my life in peril. CATscans were done and it was found I had a grade 3 obstruction and should have been sent straight to the hospital from my visit to Canyon View. I underwent surgery on the Monday to remove an ADHESIVE BAND that was choking my bowel. To be clear, NOT A FIBEROUS SUBSTANCE. 1 star because you were right about not eating solid food I guess? Glad I didn't die.
This is Tarik. As promised Dr. Bride, you and your staff are the best and so friendly! You are so knowledgeable and very outgoing! Today was Thurs, Sept 30th and it was for my ingrown nail removal. The injections were no problem nor painful as a beesting. Thanks !
