I took in my sweet boy cat who suddenly passed away right in front of me. Of course I was upset and the staff was so kind and understanding. Actually, I brought home a little boy and they were very helpful with that as well!! Thank you!

My daughters and I like to go visit the cat room every so often. All of the animals are always clean and well-cared for when I go into the shelter. Staff is friendly and helpful.
When you want to adopt but they won't let you in to look "because others have appointments " then you see no other dogs were adopted that day. It's sad the had to live another day like that.
The prices they charge for a pet are outrageous! A 100.00 for a cat and even more for a dog. I had a friend who took a little of cats there and they were going to put one of them down because there was a extra toe on the cats paw. I would rather buy a animal off craigslist or marketplace.
The animals were pretty uptight about hearing all the other animals all the time, although I'm not sure there is much you can do about that. I haven't been to other humane societies really. This one seemed to have a good amount of people there wanting to adopt a pet
Very clean facility. There have been a lot of updates recently that I was not aware of and the place looks really really good! The animals are all very happy. Love seeing all the dogs and the cats!!
We absolutely adore the cat we adopted, but she has stomatitis and needs to have all her teeth pulled. We've only had her for two weeks, so this was definitely a problem she's had before we got her. It's heartbreaking to think that she was in this much pain while at the shelter, yet no one did anything for her.
I m hoping their in person customer service is better then the service I have not yet received on the phone. After calling for almost 2 hours the only time I got a person to answer they put me on hold for 25 minutes at which point I hung up. I tried calling the front desk as well as the adoption line with no answer, at least 30 phone calls. Do they have anyone that works down there?
We adopted our wonderful new 3 year old pit bull and mastiff mix dog from there. The staff was wonderful tio work with and we just love our new family member.
I love it here. The animals here are so well taken care of. I really appreciate what the folks are doing here. They seem to genuinely care about the animals. When I was a kid I adopted my first dog here. And now my wife and I went here to see what kind of dogs and cats are there. So many breeds. And they all need adopted. So please go there and adopt one.
The dog runs were clean and the animals seemed well taken care of. We were able to take our dog with us to meet the new one we were getting, and the gentleman helping us brought five different dogs for us to meet and spend some time with. Everybody was very helpful, and I appreciate the bag of treats and toys they sent us home with, and that our dog came licensed. Our new dog seems to be a perfect fit for our family.
I recently took my toddler in to find a forever pet. Unfortunately we did not find the right fit for us this time, but we will be back to keep looking. The staff was busy, but made sure we had everything we needed including full profiles of each animal we visited. They listed to our wants and needs, helped guide us towards pets that would be best for us and gave us excellent information on each animal including training and much more. They made sure that my toddler and I were safe and felt secure and gave us plenty of time with each animal. I should actually add that we did fall in love with a dog and he with us, however, he was a breed that was not approved in our rental agreement.
Such kind and caring staff and volunteers! We were so pleased to find the kennels and cages clean and animals appearing well cared for. We adopted a cat and a dog and happily recommend them!
People working there are so stressed out and short takes away from the Feel Good Deed your doing by giving Animals a new Home. Not the Greatest experience I have ever had for sure, but Gave Animals a Forever Home and that was the whole point of Going.
