Finally getting discharged from the hospital this place put me in. Thanks for the food poisoning from hell and all the corresponding medical bills! Don t eat the Canvas Barbeque Burger! I still feel like death

It s good quality food. Their drinks could improve some. Always a good time with friends when there is a live singer. Fun spot.

Loved the octopus and the meatloaf was full of flavor. The service was very good. My wife and I both tried the Old Fashion. It was good, but not the best I've ever tasted.

My brother and I brought our elderly mom here for Sunday brunch and so enjoyed the setting and inventive dishes. Delicious food and good service and value-Can't ask for more:)

Love this place! The sweet tea brined chicken sandwich was amazing! The yuca fries has a flavorful sweet drizzle in them. We sat outside and it was beautiful! Great scenery and amazing service! Our waiter was so nice. The waiters had the nicest shoes on and were so well dressed. Will definitely come back again. Try the mango salad as sell...YYUUUUMMMYYY... 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!

Definitely the wife's choice for nice decor and outside seating. I love the selection of wines and pairings that go along with it. Afterwards you can take a stroll around the open concept area and views of the lake are nice for sunset

Awesome place!! Come any Wednesday or Friday for live music from 6pm to 9pm. Beth at the bar will take care of you!! She's amazing. Highly recommend this place. The sunsents by the lake are just stunning! Worth the drive if you're out of Orlando.

This place is pretty swanky. I love the pops of yellow in the decor, and the sunset view is something that is hard to find this far from the coast. The food is cooked to perfection and the flavors make you want to come back for another visit. It is a little pricey, but considering the experience, it is worth it. I would recommend this place for a date night.

Im so glad we found this gem of a restaurant for Sunday brunch!!! OMG the breakfast was AMAZING!!! You know a restaurant is good when it's jam packed!! Special thank you to the manager Leoni, she was absolutely amazing, such a sweet personality and in my opinion, everything rises and falls on leadership. When you have such a positive and uplifting manager, it makes the entire vibe of a restaurant and the owners should be so thankful to have such wonderful staff on hand. This is a MUST GO to spot in Florida

I just went here for the first time today and to be honest I was not impressed. Food was served cold, over priced yuca fries, and the server was unattentive (slow, water glasses constantly empty). The waitress didn t even offered to re do our food to get it warm and after waiting 35-45 minutes for out food, and we could clearly see our food ready and getting cold.

This was a delightful lunch. First off, the decor is modern and well done. The place also has a beautiful view of the lake. This seems like a great place to go out and have some drinks with friends and eat some tasty food.

We went for lunch so the menu was a bit limited. I plan on going back for dinner so I can try some of the dishes I saw online. My wife had the lobster roll (sans roll) with some salad on the side. It was light and delicious and well seasoned. I had the burger which was incredibly juicy and well made. Great burger, I would highly recommend it. The yucca fries I ordered on the side were OK. A bit undercooked and they cover them in honey which is a bit off-putting with the burger. Side note to the restaurant: As someone who grew up in a country where Yucca Fries are very common, I would suggest boiling them a stitch longer so you get softer edges on the "fries". If you cook them that way, you will get lovely crisp edges when you fry them up and it will take away some of the density of the yucca itself. OK, back to the food. My daughter had the chicken fingers. The batter was tasty though a bit heavy-handed and they over-cooked some of them a touch in the fryer which gave them a little bit of a bitter after-taste. For that reason, my daughter didn't particularly care for the chicken fingers, meanwhile, both my wife and myself enjoyed them despite them being a tad over-cooked.

Overall, despite some of the mistakes, this was a great meal and I am definitely interested in going back for dinner. The drinks were good and the majority of the food was tasty as well. Service was fine, nothing amazing, nothing awful. There were a few moments in which I found myself looking around for our waitress but these things happen. I would happily recommend this place.

Lake Nona's Gem is Canvas. Great atmosphere with live music, an awesome bar and delicious food.

This place is great. The food was very good, I got the chicken sandwhich and it looked great and tasted a bit better. This place has a lot of potential. Highly recommend for brunch, or a date.

Ate there during a training so I did not order off the menu. We were given a buffet style lunch consisting of salmon, chicken, and veggies, veggies, veggies! Everything was excellent!

Great place. Food was so surprisingly good, everything fresh, and flavors delish. Our server Juan was so outgoing and knowledgeable...the best.
Can't wait to go again!

Great ambiance, awesome food flavors. If you are a fan of bland food, steer clear as you wont be able to handle the flavor punches that some of these dishes have.

Very awesome food. The main course was awesome in flavor and presentation. Some very good choices on the menu. I had, among other things, the wild boar pasta, which had plenty of meat in it and some delicious flavors. I also had the braised octopus, I really enjoyed that. Visited for lunch on a business trip to Medical Village at University of Florida. Easy to get to within Lake Nona area and plenty of parking nearby. Very safe and walkabke area. Had salmon salad and was served fresh and quickly. When I order it again I will change two things. First, ask for dressing on side. The salad was too wet for my personal preference. Second, I will order without onions. Although there were not many slices of onion, their odor was first thing I detected and was a bit overwhelming and took away from the salmon. Very comfortable atmosphere to eat in with subtle music, variety of seating and was nice to see other people working away on laptops and phones like me. The free wifi is a big help.

No one there and still took forever to get a drink. Brunch and flat breads very disappointing. Not consistent. I'm not sure if I'm going back.

Nice setting, great service, and truly amazing food. One of the best burgers I have had, and I have been around the block a few times ... Wish they had a better beer selection though.

This place used to have a cool vibe, now it s just stuffy, with wanna-be rich pretentious people and the employees have mimicked that attitude. Ordered to-go food, which was just left at the bar and not kept warm in the kitchen. Got home and food was soggy and ice cold! This place had potential at first, but has dropped the ball for the past few months. Went again for coffee one morning and the Cappuccino tasted like an ash tray. Went for dinner again and they re Spanish style bean soup was bland chicken broth with some beans and parsley.....just lazy cooking and veered away from detail! Most restaurants don t succeed in the first 3 years....this might be one of them.

We recently had our wedding at Canvas Restaurant & Market. I want to shout from the top of a mountain that Canvas is one of the BEST and MOST AFFORDABLE new wedding venues in all of Orlando. A large number of our guests emphatically and genuinely said our wedding ceremony and reception was THE BEST they d ever attended.
Canvas has an event coordinator who met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding. We were given a complimentary tasting and selected a menu from their house selections. The food was spectacular. Our guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers, followed by a 3-course sit-down meal with an open-bar, including private label wine selections and craft beers, followed by a champagne toast and coffee service with the dessert. This sounds expensive - and I won t give exact details - but my husband and I budgeted $5,000 for our entire wedding (dress, tux, rings, hotel, officiant, venue, cake, etc ), and we stayed under that budget.
I can t stress the importance of having an on-site event coordinator. She handled everything before and the day of the wedding, including decorating and setting up our table centerpieces, moving guests from the ceremony space to the reception space, and even finding spare fresh flowers when I realized I forgot my bouquet at the hotel (1 minute before I was supposed to walk down the aisle). I cannot recommend Canvas (and their sister restaurant Chroma) enough as a venue. Lake Nona is a beautiful and vibrant part of Orlando, and the environment really set the tone for a spirited, contemporary wedding.

Just ok, had flatbread and It was Bland. They didn't have Salmon for the SalmSalmoon Salad which is what I wanted, cute funky atmosphere.

This restaurant is located next to a lake, highly recommended, excellent service, delicious food, good prices and a very pleasant atmosphere. I love going to this place !!

Sunday about 11. First the food - the kitchen staff knows how to prepare good food. My wife had the breakfast sandwich which is very good. I had the Canvas Breafast which consists of three eggs, English muffin, and bacon. All properly prepared but had been sitting on the warming tray for a while.

Now the not so good - no one else here has a clue. Menus were not readily available at the counter, so the chalk board menu names mean nothing to new customers. The salt and pepper were discovered near the coffee service after the food was delivered to the table. No butter, jam or jelly was offered with the English muffin. Upon request, a nice serving of peach/pepper preserve was brought to the table. However, there was no choice. Apparently it was either the spicy Jam or nothing. One should not have to hunt down a server and beg for these items.

Whoever said the service was excellent must be an owner or a relitive or have very low expectations of service.

Will I return - not likely

Food was super good. Try the drink Nona sunset ... It's the best.

The atmosphere is chill and comfortable. Had the Mofongo and the Beef tenderloin. Both were incredible. The appetizers and desserts were also on point. Everything is worth the cost.

Casual dining with views of the small lake. Food and service are excellent, recommended. They do have a covered electric cart to pick you up if you're staying nearby.

Canvas for me is just ok the first time ordered the poke bowl the waiters recommended the rice was not cooked fully it was horrible second time got the fish tacos they were just blah the fish was cold and it really did not taste like a lot last time got the Mango salad w salmon the 2 did not make any harmony so it was a good idea I ordered them separately and half way throw the salad I could not take the taste buds it was more of the same

I was looking for a restaurant to have all my partners and their families for dinner and updates. From day 1, Anna Pindara, the events coordinator, went out of her way to help us put this event together. Other places didn t take the time to really help us, but she did. Moreover, the day of the event, once again, Anna made sure everything was to our liking and our rockstar server, Adrian, was amazing from the get go. Our glasses were never empty, there wasn t anything he wasn t paying attention to. Simply put... great service! Totally worth it! This is our place to celebrate our company gatherings going forward.

Beautiful restaurant and marketplace for the Laureate Park community. The restaurant have plenty indoor and outdoor seating for all seasons. Furthermore, it houses the Lake Nona information center and a juice bar/coffee shop with fair prices and good selection of items.

Went there for Cinco de mayo. The brunch was amazing. Id recommend trying the bottomless mimosas, they have different flavors too (OJ, cranberry, pinapple, etc.).

Food was good, but it was hot as hell. For the amount of money I paid I shouldn t have been sweating like I did. I also left feeling like I could ve been more satiated. I could ve went to Santiago s, paid the same amount of money, and had a better brunch experience.

As usual the food was very good service was good although somewhat slow the view of the lake is outstanding and the grounds are wonderful

This place is very nice, with reasonable prices. Went there with a group of 6 for Sunday brunch, and the service and food was great. The atmosphere is awesome and the water view is amazing. I will definitely go back.

I hate complaining, but this place should not deliver food to the aqua center... first time we ordered they forgot to put the salad dressing in the salads, I had to call back waited another 15 min to eat, but they apologized and the salad was so good that I gave them a second chance today I ordered 3 kids meal 2 were chicken tenders and fries and a burger with fries when I opened my order I realized that they didn t put napkins nor ketchup or mustard who eats French fries with no ketchup? Or a plain burger with no sauce? So I went across the street asked for it my self and the 3 girls in the entrance just laughed out loud about me complaining for missing ketchup in my order... so unprofessional I m not getting this place a 3rd chance that s for sure!!!
