I had the same problem as Michelle. They refuse to refund any of the full year cost. They promise a full practice management suite, but the time and billing systems are a joke. No write up or write down, you have to itemize every invoice, next to no reporting, you can't mail statements. Customer service is nonexistent. Stay away from these guys.

Tremendous team of people all working to put together a product that will shift the industry of tax preparation. Canopy also features practice management, billing, and tax resolution offerings. The building is in great shape, new in December 2018. If you ask nice you can visit the kitchen and find a snack you like. The employees love it there. A culture of everyone pulling in the same direction, and delivering value to the customer is Paramount in the meetings. You should expect great things from Canopy.

This company reached out to me right before a tax deadline for a deal/promotion they were offering. The deal was being offered since few accountants will talk to them days leading up to a tax deadline. As a new business I was trying to figure out how to set up my practice and processes. Canopy seemed like a great choice. I was told that I had to pay the entire year up front but that at any time I can cancel. I tried for months to set up this platform and integrate it into what I needed. When I tried to cancel they refused. I had every intention of re-signing up after tax season AND with additional licenses so that I could get the most out of it for my practice. Even on the phone they did not tell me they would not cancel just that they would follow up with an email. The email basically said you are locked in. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!!

Canopy has been a huge asset in centralizing our client data and task process. Keeping communications for clients from all staff in one place. Adding easy time tracking and billing. Plus streamlining multiple tasks and spreadsheets into a one stop cloud based portal. Canopy is always striving to update and streamline based on customer feed back. With amazing customer support!

Poor customer service and software interface. I requested cancellation of my subscription multiple times and they keep emailing me to confirm and say that my subscription will be renewed and to confirm my cancellation. Harassing and inept. They have screen sizing issue and the best they can come up with instead of proper coding is "zoom out".

Less than acceptable support. Misleading statemen...

Less than acceptable support. Misleading statements by the sales person ie: availability of software updates. Would not refund my payment even though the product that was promised was not available and still is not available and was told i could get a refund if it was not updated into the software in 90 days from purchase. I would not recommend anyone purchase canopy. They make a lot of promises but do not deliver on them. Secondarily, the support individuals ranged from informed and caring to aloof and disinterested in my needs. Do not purchase this product, you will be sorry. I would give it negative stars if I could. I do not like to give reviews like this but feel in necessary to warn other businesses and individuals from getting caught up in their inconsistencies.

This has been a great place to attend the Utah agile Meetup meetings. I enjoy going here to meet with the employees and other agile practitioners as we try to make the agile community in Utah better. Their building is beautiful, the aesthetic is awesome. And if you get a chance to see it, I recommend you take a look at it. I'm very grateful to Canopy for hosting the meetups and for helping to support the community.
