Same old same old. Nothing different from year to year. Not going again and wasting money
Same old same old. Nothing different from year to year. Not going again and wasting money
To go to the cne you must have lots of monies food is expensive an you get a small potion otherwise go have fun
Love it here. You must go here if the CNE is on when in Toronto.
CNE improved the park this year. There are more good food and events for friends and family to enjoy.
It's a excellent place for family, a couple of lovers. I'm looking for individual dishes here..
Was a fun Saturday but lack of seating and poor TTC service was a bummer
Great place for all ages and walks of life. All the big trade shows, AHL Marlies, BMO Field, Argos, and Toronto FC. CNE is a great celebration to end the Summer. Pics are from the Carribean Toronto Grand Parade, 1st weekend of August.
Pretty decent
$9 after 5pm is totally worth it to just walk around. So many people, lights, and things to do. Night time is the best imo
The stalls and carnival stuff are all generally $5 per turn/round
A must every summer if you are visiting or live in the city.
I go every year. Love it there. Would be nice if all day pass was good for two days
Although everything costs a lot it still is a good place to go with the family. Kids are entertained and there is stuff for the parents as well!
The CNE is a Canadian staple, I enjoyed it greatly. Would highly recommend attending!
Dont go for the rides anymore, but the events are always interesting
My family enjoyed CNE at this location in the summer time.
Great event for locals and travelers, with lots of local products and showcases. Just happened it has a lantern exhibition indoor this year, which we found interesting.
Great day. Parking is expensive $25 flat rate. Food is expensive; cash only at the food building. All day passes are expensive. But today's admission was free so, totally worth it.
It's the best.
#CNEROCKS
Its a vibrant place. Lots of colors and loads of fun and laughter. The rides will make you want to be a child again. Food is expensive - you can try the corn dog and some candy floss.
They exhibit a lot of other things too for which you can come back next year or the year after that. I meant it is that vast.
My family and I been going to the CNE for the last 20 years. It's become our annual summer event. Prices have gone up but it's become a tradition to binge on bizarre food and win Carnival games.
Tent and indoor sales are fantastic!! The rest is always a good thrill. Love it. Some products are saving my health every year.
Awesome place to take the kids...they absolutely loved the rides.
While it is expensive to do things here, the price is inclusive. We took 2 grandkids and they got the ride pass to let them go to the front of the line. They had a lot of fun while we toured the buildings and caught some of the acts. All the exhibitors had their best CNE face on with the on the spot deals so really it is buyer beware. Overall it was good fun and I was very tired the next day from all the walking.
Great tradition!! Love the food variety and cultural presentations. I also saw an ARGO game and saw Nancy Wilson of Heart.
The CNE is a ton of fun for all ages. From games, rides and shows to the incredible variety of savoury, greasy foods to eat at every turn. If you go over the long labour day weekend then you can see the airshow for free as well. Such a thrill to witness. The only thing stopping me from rating it 5 stars is the costs involved. Be prepared to spend anywhere from 200-400 dollars for a family outing between admission, parking, food rides and games.
CNE Is just awesome. Went for the first time and it was so much fun with so many rides and so many games. I loved the ice skating show and every part of it.
Lots to see. A plethora of delicious but unhealthy food options. Be prepared to spend some money. Plenty of live music. Don't be fooled by the 'Godzilla' picture on the map. It's a waste of time. What s joke?
Once a year I visited The Ex with friends and family. It's been a tradition for years. Carnival good , new and old gadgets to buy... Horse and dog shows... Very fun!!
A summer have to for me. Each year I say I'm never coming back but I always do.
$35 for the parking and entrance fee is separate and food is very expensive even though lot of fun but again rides expensive and long waiting time .
Not much place to sit after a long walk .
Overall an improved experience. I spent almost 11 hours at the CNE this year. Food and drinks variety was good, very clean, and a bonus was the renovated the bathrooms, but what a difference! In the evening hours, there was plenty security and police presence and it definitely helped to create a safe family environment. My only recommendation is to add rest stops and benches.
Amazing entertainment. Be prepared to wait for rides for atleast 45 mins.
I visit every year. I miss the old stealth planes at the air show though
Grounds are clean. Signage needs improving. TTC needs to place more signage indicating where to board.
Lots of fun for the whole family. A good number of pokestops and gyms throughout
Still bringing smiles to faces young and old! Only suggestion would be for the C.N.E to possibly add some more covered outdoor seating. It can get quite hot on the midway and when you're sitting down to eat a little shade would be nice. As well bring back the horse building and its shows please!!!
Always a fun place to go with friends. Hopefully 2019 won't be the last one
Love the fact that it offers something for everyone.
The CNE always has a lot going on throughout the year. I usually go for The Ex. This is where you can find crazy food, animals, music, shopping, rides and carnival games. It s a nice place to go at least once in your life. I recommend going early as the grounds won t be that busy. But if you are going for certain events, goodluck if they are towards the afternoon hours. At times it is impossible to walk because of the large crowds. I enjoy watching the air show. But if you are going with kids you should protect their ears because the planes do get really loud.
I go every year to the CNE and 2015 was the busiest I've seen it in a long time. The shows though were amazing. I am talking about the ice skating dance at the Richo and the Parcore Show and my kids did the Pizza Nova pizza making... 3 years in a row and there was so much more to see and do we spent 12 hours there and still didn't manage to do everything we wanted. THAT is amazing. For people who say there was no samples... We had the Nutella and the Kinder egg surprise and there were more odds and ends throughout the park. It was great. Best year ever. Keep adding more samples each year and more shows. The midway keeps getting smaller and the fun houses are on their wits end as they are falling apart. We aren't there for the rides... we are there for the shows, the exhibits, the food, the samples, the fun. You covered it all
First year I've been, soo much to see and do! Almost better than wonderland.
I have been in Canada since July 1976. My sponsor took us to watched the air show that year. As an 11 year old child watching jet fighters, gliders and snowbirds performed their acrobats, it was just a show. You don't think anything of it.
I have been to CNE with my kids and have been at the air show for over fifteen years. My kids are older and CNE is no longer for them.
My husband and I love the air show, but never got good seats in the past. This year 2018 we got to the park early, got our parking spot at Dufferin entrance and got an incredible good seat at the 3rd bench early. We love the show they put on. We appreciate the acrobats, the routine, the devotion and skills training all those pilots went through to put on a magnificent show for spectators.
CNE is still our place to watch our air show. Worth every penny.
Great place to go with the family, especially if you bring children with you. There are rides, games, food, live shows, etc.
The food court is huge and you can find many types of food.
You can also buy many products for your home, or improve your health.
Btw, I saw some restaurant's workers at the bathroom who did not wash their hands after using it.
Very multicultural. All the colors at the carnival celebrated united nations in the heart of Toronto City 2019.
Its always fun to go to The Ex with so many things to do and see. There is something for everyone. Wear comfy shoes because you will be doing a lot of walking around and standing. There are so many things happening that the website is extremely useful in planning your visit(s) so you don't miss anything.
Every time the CNE comes to town you read about something unique to that year including food, rides, exibits or shows and most of those are easy to find with the guide. The unique food items you see in the local news and read about online can be very difficult to find. There was not enough detail on the food buildings vendor map but once we found an info booth where actual people were stationed they were more useful. It should include those unique food items on the Food Buildings Vendor Map / List or CNE website. It would help everyone plan their way through the food building instead of wondering around to see whats there but if that never happens, find an info booth with people because they should be able to help you.
Two things not to miss.....
Simon's greek food in the food building (especially the potatoes and the spinach pie) and pick up a bottle of their salad dressing.
The Silk Lantern Festival in the Enercare bldg....not at all what we expected and so glad we went...you wont believe your eyes, especially if you download the interactive app.
Nice variety of products, and food.
However the massive amount of unused food waste generated by food vendors baffles me.
Parking is expensive, but there is excellent value and something for everyone with admission. We thoroughly enjoyed the shows this year.
Nice place. Fun when you have money to blow... just way to many people. If you're with one another friend it's cool but, hard for kids and strollers with zero space to more around. Especially in the food court.
I always look forward to going to both the royal agricultural winter fair and the Ex both great events and lots of fun especially if you like shopping and rides. One thing that I recommend is go take public transit instead of parking because as other reviews mention it is expensive and you often have to walk a long way to the actual grounds. One great thing about the CNE is that they have not forgotten about their historical routes and it is celebrated in many areas around the grounds. One great example of this is at Scadding Cabin, Toronto's oldest building located at the very back of the grounds but definitely worth the walk. Can't wait to go down this year. It's a great experience.
Fun place!! The games are exhilarating, lots of foods, spectacles and products from all over the world.
Great place for games, food and fun! You need to check when it is open during summer!
The exhibition has to do a better job of allowing people using the GO Train to access Strauchan. The experience is dreadful. Stagg has to be better informed or the barriers should be moved to allow access to the street without going through the EX.
Great place to spend time with family or with friends. Employees were friendly and helpful. Many rides are very fun and well themed. Great service and good prices.
I love the unique foods at a affordable price and every experience provides a unique memory. There is something for everyone no matter the age. Some foods that i loved were: Tokyo hot
Bacon nation - Canada 150 burger
Cake shack - sugar mountain
Ice cream doughnut
Every year they have unique foods. When you're there, you have to try out the newest foods. I just love it there!!!!
Check out buildings eat see ice show every year I go getting a little expensive for the average person
My 1st time, yet very fulfilling to experience such national event
I just go there for the food. They are a lot of vendors to choose from. Every year they come with new exciting and unusual foods to try. The rides are mostly for young kids so they would enjoy it more.
I went with the girlfriend and we had a good time. Thank you for installing an electric charging station for my car:-) . hopefully you they can add more soon
Three years in the row I go in the exhibition and this time was a poore for looking then before. Even a air show. Quite stretched in the time. People exhausted sitting under the sun.and nobody heard the announcement. I brought my gest with me and was looking forward for exciting. But? Disappointed (((
I come here once a year or so ever since I was a kid. Since I m an adult now it s not as fun as it used to be (ride wise) but I love the Sky Ride and the Farm. :). Perfect summer spot for a date night or just chillage with friends.
Was an excellent day for the 98th Warriors' Day Parade.
The only exhibition worth visiting in Canada: the food, the shows, market place, animals...all throughout the summer for everyone to enjoy. Mind you, it can be costly, considering its significance as one of the top tourist destination to see in Toronto, so be ready to burn a loonie or two. Or more.
The CNE has been part of my life since the early 1980's, will always be memorable.
Prices could be alot better but overall it's a really really fun experience and I do recommend coming here
Everything was great and so many food choices unfortunately I made the wrong one, stay away from Philthy phillys. Worst philly cheese steak sandwich I ever had maybe next time they could put a little meat in it. Payed over $10 for a bun.
The CNE is a annual event that has something for everyone young and old. Great food, rides for the kids, shows, games, a market, and exhibits. A fun place for everyone.
Overcrowded, over expensive and definitely over rated
It is what is and has never really changed much across decades and decades.
I went to screemers here.
It was a ton of fun and the haunted houses are better than Wonderland
I love the light exhibit and great prices for branded items
A must visit for anyone visiting the city in the summer, entertaining, energetic, eat, play, shop and celebrate Canada.
Love it my Daughter had a good. Time it's just little bit expensive.
A must-see for all Canadians just like the Calgary Stampede
Only been once but it was amazing and my 11 year old son LOVED it!
My favourite summertime place of all time. Love coming here every summer. Its also a fantastic place to work.
Always an enjoyment!
Many shows and foods to choose from. Good admission price if you buy early. Some staff aren't friendly but overall, great place to check out.
