We've been using A & A for three times in the pas few months. They have excellent customer service. Cleared our customs entry within minutes after receiving our documents. Their service charge is reasonable. Would recommend A & A to my friends and colleagues.
Nobody here seems to be concerned that their cavalier work ethic costs their customers money nor do they seem bothered by lying to avoid looking inefficient.
I sent in appropriate paperwork on a Wednesday.
I called Friday to check on progress and was told that it was complete.
On Monday, I find out my clearance has not even been started yet.
Poor service.
Poor work attitude.
Not indicative of a broker that will perform as they are paid to do.
Ronnie Deol in the Surrey office is super awesome and always goes the extra step to explain the clearance procedures.
If you are a small company, don't use them to do customs clearance. They did not care about getting back the duties you double paid. No one in the company is really in charge of taking care of customer services. We ended up giving up the double paid several thousands dollars. We just wanted to stay away from them.
Our company found it necessary to move from another Brokerage Firm and we were recommend to try A &A Custom Brokers. Our account was set up quickly and the staff our highly knowledgeable and very efficient. Sorry that we did not move over sooner. Highly recommend this company!
These Guys sent me 15,000 dollar bill from somebody else , they have a major organizational problem in the office, I was threatened that this was going to be send to collection, I spend two days back and forth until I thought it was sorted out. This happened a year ago , I just received another email trying to collect over $15,000 for importing a motor from Oregon nowhere on the customs paperwork is my name or my companies name other than the mailing address witch they somehow screwed up. Not Me , BEWARE of these people use another broker
This is the worst customs broker i have ever dealt with. They had my paperwork 36 hrs before my driver was scheduled to arrive at the border. It took 4 phone calls to get them to even process it and then when they did finally process it they did it wrong. I would not reccomend them to anyone.
Rip off customs and brokerage fee. Don't waste your time with this company. The duty is NOT 13% as company claims but 33%. Just another reason not to trust this shady outfit. My declared value was over $1600 and they quoted mt $532 in charges. Do the math. A & A is a rip off. Stay away.
A&A is helping me transition from another customs broker who has grown too large to provide good service. They're reviewing the way we do everything to make sure we are not only in compliance but aren't wasting time and money doing things we aren't required to do. It's a bit of a learning curve to switch but they have been patient throughout and I'm confident our transactions will be both easier and less costly once we get everything set up.
I am pleased to have an opportunity to thank you all for your assistance in registering my car when I moved from U.S.A. to Canada.
