Very good for kids!

Very good for kids!
Very spacious and quiet. Although there is only one snack bar on the campsite, there is a restaurant next door. There is a small shop on the square for essentials, the next shop is in the next town.
Daily animation for young and old (during the main season.)

I have given this site four stars, despite the fact that when we arrived the ground was sodden from the torrential rains and our motorhome only just made it on to its 'hardstanding' pitch - something of a misnomer as the hard surface had considerable grass growing on it. The welcome at the office was very warm, the little shop useful, and the takeaway/eat in restaurant very satisfactory, especially with its view of the swollen river rushing past the window! The shower block/washing facility was excellent, and it looked as if the swimming pool/play area would be very popular in normal weather. Only a few brave dads and small children went near that during our stay!
The site is quite remote and would seem not to have many places of interest within a short distance. Bescancon is about a 40 minute drive, and the nearest large supermarket at Beaume les Dames is about 25 minutes away. But for a pleasant getaway in normal summer weather, I think it would be fine.
So many campsites we used during our trip this June were badly affected by the awful rains experienced in France, but they are struggling on bravely and I really hope the sites will have dried out before their busy season starts with the school holidays.

Very nice, clean and spacious with friendly staff. The swimming lake is a dream and was not overcrowded despite the high temperatures.
There would actually be 4 stars for that, but ...
-1 star for the half-heartedly implemented hygiene concept during Corona times. The swimming pool was completely overcrowded and the number of visitors was not limited. There was also no soap or disinfectant in the sanitary facilities. But it was quite possible to keep your distance from other visitors.
-1 star for the oak procession moth infestation. Our seats were under oak trees, so almost every one of us (8 adults and 9 children) had skin reactions and severe itching. Even caterpillars were found on the square opposite. Allegedly it was combated, but nobody was informed after the first cases emerged.
Unfortunately, that spoiled our stay, so we left one night earlier

Ideal for children ... Playground, swimming pool with cool slides, children's entertainment, climbing park, lake, tree houses, football field ... much to experience. The place is large and the sanitary facilities tiptop. Staff very friendly and helpful. A small sweet shop and a restaurant are on the square. Canoe tours and fishing ... everything was possible here. We felt very well here.

Great place with lots of trees and huge parking spaces. Swimming pool on the square and lake just around the corner. The only drawback: few excursion destinations nearby.
Tip: The shop (Epicerie) is only open for a short time, so it is better to pre-order croissants etc. in the morning.

Great, big campsite.

Great, big campsite.
The sanitary facilities are very clean and the showers unusually spacious. In the small shop at the entrance (07:30 clock to 10:30 clock and 16:30 clock to 19:00 clock) you get everything you need. (If you can get up before 09:00, you may also get croissants and pain au chocolat!)
For children, the front area with swimming pool, table tennis and the lake is great for spending time. For adults, the quieter rear area on the L'Ognon River is recommended.
Boule areas and large meadows for Viking chess, badminton and other games are also abundant. Wood for campfires can be found on the edge of the adjacent forest.

Should it ever get boring, the bathing lake invites you to swim and splash, or the river for canoeing (bring your own canoe or hire the rental company). Furthermore, the village of Rougemont (about 20 minutes) or the small town Villersexel (about 60 minutes) can be easily reached by bike. The latter offers with the local Intermarche a good opportunity for shopping. There is a small market every summer on the first and third Wednesday of the month.

An estimated 90% of the visitors are from Germany and the places for campers and caravans are very large (about 12x13 m) and separated by trees and small bushes, which also provides some shadier places. Hammocks, armchairs and slacklines can easily be attached to the trees.

Nice large campsite. At the moment all accommodations are rented out and the part for caravans / tents etc for 30%. The large children sit by the lake and the swimming pool with fun slides is mainly used by and for children up to 14 years old. Everything is neat and clean and the reception has a few toppers. French and English.

Beautiful campsite. Surrounded by many small lakes and a river surrounded by forests. The river was led with a quiet course to the campsite. There you can romp madly with the canoe. At the campsite it is very quiet and idyllic (end of May). The kids had a lot of fun in the pool area and in the river. The welcome by Eurocamp was very friendly. The only small criticism, the toilet area was clean, but the light in block B did not work. We did not try the restaurant. Thank you and see you soon

Fairly large campsite with many facilities. We have made extensive use of the sports facilities and the swimming pool with the slides, and the river l'Ognon for paddling and fishing. The climbing trail through the trees, and also the canoe trip are recommended. We camped in an Ecolodge. Large enough for 2 adults and 2 children, in good condition and reasonably comfortable. Downside we found the lack of space around the lodge. Everything is pretty close together, so there is not much room for the children to play in front of the door and noisy neighbors in the late evening sometimes spoiled our pleasure.

Nice campsite with a swimming pool to splash and a river for fishing. Many Dutch people, including Dutch children's club. Number of days it was very cold water in the pool, bad food in the restaurant (pizza). Nice bread in the morning.

Nice campsite. Great for kids with the lake. Not too crowded at the lake and good for resting. It is not 5 stars.
Unfortunately, there is not enough going on in the area to be worth staying longer than 1 week. Good for kids

Cycle tour day 3 - stunning campsite, friendly staff, really relaxed and quiet. Stayed for the night and ate some chips and melon and had a beer at their cafeteria, food is a bit pricey but what s new. This campsite was the most expensive but only 6 euros more than others that didn t come close and perhaps 12 euros from the most basic with nothing at all. The facilities are insanely modern and clean. I would happily stay here again even considering i only stayed for a night and did not go swimming in the pool or lake that they offer. Great place and worth considering. My favourite so far

Summer 2018 been here. Weather was good everywhere so in that respect already top holiday.

Three children (then 8.5, 3 and 1.5) who had a great time in the truly beautiful swimming pool. Like a tropical beach in terms of colors. Nice slides. Clean. Fine wooden surface.

Camping itself super clean and tidy. Spacious despite its size. We stayed in a furnished bungalow tent from Roan. Super accommodation because you don't have to bring anything with you. Ladies from Roan have also arranged everything perfectly. Acted quickly when something was missing in the tent.

More was also nice water, only the surface (stones) I found a bit less pleasant. But that's personal.

We found the quality of the restaurant to be reasonable. Could have been better for such a star campsite.

But in general a great campsite for smaller children.

Location is quiet, supermarket 5 to 10 minutes drive. For other activities you have to take at least 3 kw hours because you are quite remote.

SHAMEFUL, SCANDALOUS.

SHAMEFUL, SCANDALOUS.
Friends campers avoid this "campsite".
We arrive this midday and we want to visit the campsite to stay there for a week if it suits us.
At the entrance, we are stopped by an individual telling us that it is impossible to enter and visit the place, it is the rule of the management. And he adds: "You look on the internet and you book". First of all, this individual is not part of my family, fortunately, and therefore should not be familiar with me. Second, if I go there, it is to realize the real situation.
40 years of camping in over 200 different campsites in 20 countries and I've never seen it.

Superb pool but impossible to swim in.

Superb pool but impossible to swim in.
Mobihlom rental price much too excessive for the place.
Miserable bedding and a bit expensive internet access fee (one subscription per device).
And I have the impression that the activities are aimed only at foreign customers.
For a 5 star you should change your welcome gift and offer at least one bottle, rather than a cleaning kit.

Very nicely laid out campsite with a pleasant location on the Ognon!
Spacious parking spaces, various accommodation options and clean sanitary facilities are rounded off by a child-friendly outdoor pool, a small shop for the morning pain au chocolat, a small fitness studio and access to the swimming lake.
The reception staff speaks several languages without errors and takes care of all kinds of concerns immediately. It was particularly pleasant that when booking the mobile homes, there was a spacious piece of green available behind the house, which is certainly not the case with other campsites.

Nice camp site. Clean, well maintained, nice swimming pool and swimming lake. There are activities for the children, we did not take use of it but were not hindered by it neither.
The rented tents are not in the best part of the camp site, so bringing your own is definitely a benefit.
Bottom line: recommended.

Registration and deregistration took unnecessarily long and the "cleanliness" of our 8-person safari tent left much to be desired. !!! Please note that dogs are not allowed in the big tents !!! Our tent was actually quite comfortable and had everything necessary even if it looked in the pictures roomier and more luxurious, so please do not pay too much attention to the pictures shown. For our children (4 and 8 years) there was the whole day from 10 o'clock animation you have fun and for the most part participated, if we were not outside together. I do not recommend the food at the snack bar, but the bar prices in a good value for money, the homemade ice cream but overpriced but delicious and the small shop has everything necessary and the bread and sweets early in the morning I highly recommend.

had a wonderful holiday at this campsite. our 5 year old son also had a great time. Dutch animation was super arranged. We stayed in a Eurocamp XL safari tent. These were in a beautiful spot, close to the new sanitary building.
Furthermore, the shop is small and expensive (like all camping shops ...). sandwiches were fine.
Ordered pizza once from the restaurant. the price was pretty cheap. the pizzas not special, but fine for the price.
staff (reception) and employees of Eurocamp very helpful.
The pool was really nice. temperature was good. especially when it was 28 degrees. Only it could be very busy in the pool on the nice days.
The lake at the campsite is also fine!
Most camping spots are very spacious. It is generally quiet in the evenings after 22:00. Security is also cycling around should something happen.
1 remark ... on our part (the road between the old and new toilet blocks) the speed was often too fast. despite the speed signs on the campsite. personally I would set a little more barriers.
despite that, we had a wonderful holiday. see you next year.

Lovely quiet campsite! Stayed here for one night on the way down to the south of France and one night on the way home. Campsite was lovely and peaceful and you really feel like you re in touch with nature. Loved hearing the village church bell ring! Well stocked shop with fresh bread and pastries at good prices, snack bar is a clever system and food was very nice. Didn t swim in the pool as it had a no swim shorts rule (which is a typical French rule). Would stay again!

Super nice campsite. Nice small and cold swimming pool, with fun slides and a spray park. Kids (5 and 2) thought the pool was fantastic despite being a bit small. Also a large paddling pool. (Also cold). Plumbing is top. A new building has just been placed in the middle of the campsite, further around it some smaller sanitary buildings, also in good condition.
Beautiful large places with a water tap here and there between the places. Food isn't fantastic, but manageable.
Every morning fresh bread rolls and baguettes in the shop at the front of the campsite. Not much else to get in the shop, just the essentials. Great super-marche is a 10-minute drive away.
The campsite is located on a river and a large lake where the children can play. A lot of space.
Mini disco every night and something organized by the animation team every day.
After 10 p.m. you basically hear nothing more than some crickets.
We have enjoyed a great holiday!

Nice campsite and we are in a rent a tent safari tent.
1 big disadvantage what we find .. there is 1 toilet shower washing ect. Central building on the campsite. We are quite far from it.
So take a sandwich if you have to and definitely go on time .
It all looks perfect.

Nothing to do in the area. Small swimming pool, but very nice lakes, one of which is for swimming. Natural river that runs through the campsite. You can do a canoeing tour that ends at the campsite. They also have a number of table tennis tables. At the bar good, but limited amount of wifi.
