The surroundingd are very nice and it is easy accessible by car.

A lot of rest, but also very cozy, perfect for dog owners, too bad that some dog owners ignore the rules and do not clean up their poo.

Cottages are a bit dated. Nice in the middle of the woods. Free pony rides for the children.

We love coming here, and we will be back this year from 26 June
We hope that the pool will be ready by then.

Large spacious campsite for a nice low price. Indoor and outdoor pool, playgrounds, sports field, riding school, climbing forest, paintball and dog school. Excellent camping shop, friendly receptionists. We were on 1 of the 2 children's fields, close to the swimming pools and large playground. Great place, close to the viewing tower and the large open-air theater.

The campsite is located in the middle of the woods and has spacious fields and pitches. From the entrance of the campsite you are in Ommen in 5 minutes and from the campsite you can walk into the wonderfully beautiful forests. We recommend a walk to the fens, the Sahara or the Steile Oever. Very much enjoyed!

Clean large campsite. Nice play equipment in the middle of the field Well cared for. Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Clean modern sanitary facilities.

Fantastic camping site is undergoing major renewal, a beautiful holiday spot for young and old in the middle of nature and a stone's throw from the tourist town of Ommen

Very spacious campsite. Catering staff (too few in number) not always smooth and friendly. Could be the crowds; there will only be 10 people waiting for you .... They do their best anyway. The food is very tasty! The qualaria has a good range and tasty soft ice cream. Unfortunately, the waiting time can be enormous. Sometimes there are long queues.
Unclear where to dispose of waste; pokke long walk !!! Impossible. A bicycle is actually a necessity anyway. Most people take the car to the reception. Too far to walk to the reception (1.3 km) and the center of Ommen, which is a shame.
The camping pitches are nicely spacious. Peacefully quiet. It differs a bit per field. However, little amps (4) in some fields, in other places 10A is available. Unclear what to do with the wastewater. Nowhere to find waste water discharge points. It is strange that today there are hundreds of woodlice in our tents the first night.
WiFi reasonable with the 'normal' inconveniences as at most campsites: no connection, reception or speed. But generally doable with the central buildings. The total number of toilet buildings is few. Approx. 6 men's showers for dozens (70 or more) places. 8 washing up places is also tight. WC's ditto and also (too) far walk .... Well clean. Of course, hygiene also depends on the guests themselves. No need to wait for the toilet or shower ... Easy: with a token you can get hot water and shower. Well arranged, without paying extra.
Fun activities for the kids.
It was a bit strange to see a golf cart tearing over the statue. A neighbor (German) asks why they do this. So I just ask (the one lady in the cart did not speak English or German) Answer: to let you know that there is a performance for small children ... That message does not get across those driving around with music as far as explanation . Nice: our son is doing odd jobs for three days: building a competition huts. Fun and very well organized. First aid men / women, including lunch and a lot of guidance. Compliments!
Saturday the 10th of August there was a real bird of prey show, great.
All in all, we are having a great time at this campsite so far.
