Camp Wigwam

I was a camper and a counselor at camp wigwam for years. The place is truly magical and where boys grow into men.

Great place look forward to attending camp all year.

What can I possibly say about Camp Wigwam? One of the most amazing experiences my son has had. Such a warm, caring and delightful group of people (counselors, director, campers). I truly believe that kind-hearted people attract same-like people and that is the experience at Camp Wigwam. The director, Bob, is one of the most genuine and generous people you will ever meet. His kindness I will never forget. Those qualities trickle down to the counselors and the campers this camp attracts. This is my son's second year and we will be back many years to come.

My son loves the camp, and is reciting his review to me to post for him. it has amazing kids, staff, and a great director! Very welcoming to anyone who goes there. Also has amazing scenery and lovely sunrises. Full moon looks beautiful on the lake. We even mention it in one of our camp songs. They have many activities so you never get bored. My favorite outdoor activity is theater and we have a play every year at parent's visiting day. On rainy days there are fun rainy day activities. Sometimes there is Bingo in the rainy day activities but my favorite is Magic the Gathering which is a card game. I highly recommend Camp Wigwam to any kid out there. It is the best camp ever!

Bob Strauss and his staff have had a profound impact on my sons maturity and independence. I owe a lot to Camp Wigwam.

Camp Wigwam is a place where people grow and learn. As the NURSE for this camp I cam assure you, its of the highest quality, in every aspect. Nothing is on the fly . If I have sons I would hope they attend.

I have known the staff and campers for only 4 years and they are all amazing people and the camp is absolutely marvelous. So much so its one of the ONLY camps that was open summer 2020 and we hd NO COVID CASES AT ALL!!! Best camp ever.

Our three boys love Camp Wigwam. They have a wonderful experience every summer where they build confidence and come home with stories of adventures with friends. Bob does everything to encourage the boys to try new things and to bring joy to the entire camp community. Thank you for being a home away from home.
