I went here for two nights with my school for a band camp and we had a great time! The cabins are heated and well taken care of, but there was evidance a squirrel or other small animal might have made a nest inside.
The food is amazing, and a lot of it is made right at camp. The bread is especially good. Also, there are options for people with special dietary needs which are not of lesser quality. Tables did have to be set and cleaned by us, but this isn't hard and is a standard at most camps.
I went during April and there was quite a bit of mud and some flooding, but the grounds look nice and the beach is a good size. I would guess the trails and property are well maintained when nature doesn't get in the way because even now they weren't bad.
The staff are super friendly here and made a great effort to get to know us. They remembered activities we mentioned and asked follow up questions days later, making me feel very well welcomed.
During campfire the staff put on a great interactive preformance and never lost their spirit.
My only concern is to make sure cabins all have a proper amount of paper towel and are swept before a group comes in. While they are well maintained, a bit of cleaning would be a massive improvement.
