My family and I visited from Virginia. We are use to going to Kings dominion but we had a lot more fun here. Same rides but they had a few others to offer along with a playground area for the kids. Absolutely liked it and plan to visit again.
I love love love the wave pool! Sure wish Ray's had one!
Mostly for kids 5 & under. My tall 6 year old is in between big kid rides and those at Camp Snoopy. She s 48 which allowed her to ride alone in most rides at Camp Snoopy.
Needs a facelift. Not enough for the little kids. The same few rides are always too crowded. Get more and the lines will be more spread out. My kids have a blast though.
The staff is nice and there were lots of happy smiling kids. It was rather busy, but the restroom I used was still clean.
Took the 16 month old balloons with me and he was terrified.

It was a blast. Workers all made sure everyone was tall enough to be on rides. Food is pricey, but you expect that. A lot of rides, and things to do. Plenty of food choices and desserts/treats. There's something for everyone. Beats going to your local fair, and is safer.
Carowinds is fun, however, I really wish that more of the park (including the entrance and walkways to the entrance) were shaded. There are not a lot of trees in or around this park.
Staff is super friendly here, joke with kids, help them in and out. Saw numerous safety checks. The first aid station is amazing!!! My little one was getting overheated and they had a cooling station setup for them. Very much appreciated. Rides are so fun for little ones.
All this area is designed for little kids, there are enough rides for them to enjoy the same way as big kids. Most rides are just smaller shape and slower speed of the same way other full-size teens and adults level rides. Shows in this area are more interactive ones that allow kids to join and dance together with actors.
Great for kids...and laughs from parents seeing your kids have such a great time. If I had any complaints it would be the people running the rides take their time. Be prepared to wait in line and for the ride to start.
We always go when we go to carowinds. Something for all ages. My only complaint is that there are no staff in playground area monitoring and keeping the gates closed. Apparently, parents are not enough.
My granddaughter was 2.5yo, there were plenty for her to ride and 8yo
Lines moved along. The area and the bathrooms were clean. The food at Harmony Hall was delicious. Little one got her face painted, and they touched it up when she smudged it.
My children LOVE Carowinds and planet Snoopy! It's a great place for kids and offers many choices for all ages! I have so much fun with them here and love seeing their faces light up with excitement and joy each time! They're adding more for 2018 and kids 0-5 are FREE all season...can't wait!
Camp Snoopy was fun for the kids. The lines were not so terribly long, the kids could get on and have a good time
The new camp snoopy is a very nice addition to The Carowinds experience for our children. Very clean and many new rides. They have removed the helicopter ride, gliders, rocket ships and boats.l and relocated the carousel. They have replaced them with a large playground, tea cups, 4wd bouncy Jeep ride, a Jeep drifting ride, a school bus ride a drop (kite eating tree ride) and a nice water feature.
We love Camp Snoopy. My daughter isn't big enough to ride some of the other rides so this area is a big hit with her. There are rides just doe the younger kids and rides for the family.
My children 4, 6, and 8 loved snoopy land, and carowinds. It was an amazing experience better than disney for us. My 8 year old was a little bored in snoopy land but I took her by myself and left the other 2 in snoopy land to ride the bigger rides. All around great day.
Cute place. The gift shop though was difficult to navigate from a scooter. If you use a mobility aid, expect a lot of tight spots in the gift shop. Otherwise very nice, aesthetically pleasing. Expect long waits
A good selection of rides. Very clean. Had appropriate safety features for children. Had buildings for families to change little ones diapers--they are air conditioned and spacious and clean. You're not going to find much in terms of kid-sized portions of healthy food. Staff seemed bored, but not unfriendly. We really enjoyed our two days there.
They really need to monitor the employees better especially in this section. At least one lady that was over the little trucks that spin and jerk around was NOT doing a good job following safety procedures.
Our family went to Carowinds for Winterfest and it was great! Beautiful! They definitely transformed the park into a winter wonderland!
Whi doesn't like water parks and solar coasters thus place is amazing always clean and always a good time especially for the lil ones!
Our little one enjoyed camp snoopy so much. Made a lot of memories.
Fun, nice rides flr.lids but still one or two things that older people might enjoy.
We are season pass holders. Made 3 trips this year so far between regular old summer Carowinds and one trip to daytime kiddie Scarowinds. They've really got a good thing going for the kids. Lots of rides. Waits aren't too terrible. A fair amount of shade for this blistering summer days. I'd rate five stars except Carowinds' food is so terrible.
Like the Hanna Barbera Land from my childhood, but better! My son loves it and they've done a great job upfitting it and maintaining it.
Family loved it, wait times could've been reduced but overall good experience.

Such a great place for the kids. Peanuts characters walk around and you can take pictures with them. Many many rides for the kids.
They ve really improved what used to be Hanna-Barbera land. Great fun for the little ones. Love the new attractions.
