Camp Mini Yo We: A Christian Summer Camp and Retreat Centre for Children and Youth

Camp Mini Yo We is a Christian summer camp and retreat centre located in the heart of Muskoka, Ontario. The camp offers a wide range of exciting programs for children and youth ages 5-17, including traditional overnight camps, day camps, leadership development programs, family camps, and retreats.

At Camp Mini Yo We, we believe that every child deserves to experience the joy of summer camp. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith while having fun and making new friends. Our programs are designed to help campers develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, problem-solving, creativity, resilience and self-confidence.

Our overnight camps are available for children ages 7-17. Each week-long session is packed with fun activities such as swimming, canoeing/kayaking/paddleboarding on our beautiful lakefront property; archery; rock climbing; zip-lining; arts & crafts; sports & games; nature hikes & outdoor education activities. In addition to these activities we also offer daily Bible studies where our experienced staff share stories from the Bible that teach valuable lessons about faith.

Our day camps are perfect for younger children ages 5-12 who may not be ready for an overnight experience yet but still want to enjoy all the fun of summer camp! Day campers participate in many of the same activities as our overnight campers but return home each evening after dinner.

For older teens (ages 15-17), we offer two unique leadership development programs: LIT (Leaders-in-Training) program which focuses on developing leadership skills through hands-on training opportunities with younger camper groups or CIT (Counselor-in-Training) program which prepares participants for future roles as counselors at Camp Mini Yo We or other similar organizations.

We also offer family camps throughout the year where families can come together to enjoy all that Camp Mini Yo We has to offer! These weekends include accommodation in one of our cozy cabins or lodges along with meals prepared by our talented kitchen staff. Activities include swimming/boating/fishing on Lake Wenonahseeahkook (our private lake), hiking/nature walks around our beautiful property or just relaxing by a bonfire under starry skies!

Finally we have retreats throughout the year which cater specifically towards adults looking for some time away from their busy lives! These weekends include accommodation in one of our cozy cabins or lodges along with meals prepared by our talented kitchen staff. Activities include yoga classes led by certified instructors , guided meditation sessions , hiking/nature walks around our beautiful property or just relaxing by a bonfire under starry skies!
