Our Troop loves Camp McCormick! It is a well maintained camp with a lot of fun options for activities.

You must be a girl scout to go here. The facility is clean and warm despite freezing temperatures outside. The friendship center itself is a facility for girl scout troops to rent. It has a sleeping area, a large room and a pool you can rent if you meet all of the safety points. Thus is located in a girl scout camp that has lots of places to hike. If you are a girl scout than this is the place for you.

Horrible experience, huge spiders everywhere, rude staff and counselors, doesn't let children go home, cabins have bad structure and one was smashed by a tree during a storm when I had just ran out of it. Spiders get in tents and are HUGE. Horrible bug bites, tents don't have doors, dirty everywhere as well. Props to a counselor named "Mulan" who was the only one who wanted to help but couldn't because she couldn't send us home. "Snow White" was really rude and yelled at us a lot along with "Chatter."

Had a wonderful time there. Made new friends and will never forget the memories

Lots of fun at Choose Your Adventure, highly recommend it for next year.

Beautiful indoor pool!! Cute swing benches outside and very easy to get to from every camp site at camp McCormick. We did not use the sunrise/sunset rooms (we used Troop house) but toured the facility and there 28 bunk beds in each room with living room a gorgeous kitchen. Pools are clean and the human fooseball pit outside is a nice touch! Our GS troop LOVED our weekend at camp McCormick and had a blast swimming inside the friendship center.

great scout camping. friendship center is less rustic than most camping I prefer, but the whole property at McCormick is great and there are a wide range of options.

I don t usually like camping/ intense outdoor activities :), but we absolutely love Camp McCormick! We would visit again. Always clean, great events. The port-a-potties were surprisingly clean/ approachable. There are a variety of camping spaces/ options and activities. If you haven t been to the camp yet: Watch out for the signs- they come up on you fast, but there are two main parking lots we ve used. The nursery on the corner now has a dark brown barn instead of the bright red. I m pretty sure it used to be bright red- it was easier to spot the nursery in the past to know if you were headed in the right direction towards Camp McCormick.
