My son (age 9) loved it. He and a few buddies participated in their first overnight camp. They all had a great time and want to go back. All positive things were said about the counselors, activities, and even chapel. When he came home he asked to show me a bible verse he learned.
My daughter was frightened at first but within the hour of drop off she was so comfortable. The counselors we're nice and accommodating. And the whole experience fortified her relationship with the Lord.

I have been going here since I was a little girl! I love everything about Camp Gideon. Leadership is great, wonderful place for swimming during camp, great activities they get more creative every year, and it is a great place for kids to learn about God! I have shared their role in my life many times on their website.

My two boys participated in the Knight Camp here and loved it! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and well organized (which is always appreciated!).
They were super accommodating of our basically self-sufficient youth retreat. The cabins, even though they were cold because it's winter, were clean and well prepared for us. It's always a pleasure to be able to use their facility.
Outdoor areas were kept very clean and maintained. The inside of the cabins are old and could use some renovating, but all in all are not bad. For the cabins alone, I'd give them three stars but the staff was friendly and the outdoor areas were so nice.
My children loved it, it is worth an excellent experience, plus the attentive and very responsible staff with the children. Excellent place to send your children
