This is second year for my 13yr old and she absolutely loves camp galil. Friends for life is what you find there. A community of the most amazing young, caring individuals.

When I came to this place seven years ago, I never imagined how much positivity it would bring to my life. Not only have I made lifelong friends who I can trust with anything, I grown and learned with people who are basically my second family now. This camp is a truly mind-blowing place unlike any other. The sense of community you find here is one where you couldn't find anywhere else. Every day I spend at this camp, I learn, build friendships, and (most importantly) have fun. I now know that coming to this place was the best decision I've made. It's truly a unique place. You won't regret sending your kids here! :)

When I tell you that I ve never been so strongly in love with a place, I mean it so much. I can t describe the euphoric feeling that I feel every single day while I m at camp Galil. I have made the best friends I will ever make or need. You make unbreakable bonds with unexpected people. At Galil you have a Kvutzvah, which is a family that you will never fight with. I have never put so much trust into a group of people. My entire heart stays at Galil 365 days 24/7 all year round every year. Some people call camp their second home, but it s not that. It s YOUR home with people that you love and cherish and would do anything to see everyday. The people become like siblings, but the best siblings you could ever imagine. I know that I miss it everyday, and I talk to my family everyday. Galil is such a special place.

The experiences I ve had and the memories I ve made at this camp are so uniquely special to me. My friends that I made here have always accepted me for who I am and supported me in every way possible. If you want your child to make friends that they ll keep for the rest of their lives, send them here. The love I have for this place is indescribable. My friends and I often say that you go to Galil for the people. This is so true. I love the friends that I ve made from going here, and cannot thank this camp enough for becoming a part of my heart.

Six years ago we dropped off our little girl for her first session at Galil. Yesterday we picked-up our daughter from her most recent session. This year she told us about the award she received for planning, preparing and managing the delivery of a camp-wide meal as part of a special program. My 15 year old daughter sounds like a 25 year old Project Manager and she had a fantastic time doing it. This is a young woman who overcame Attention Deficit Disorder, and significant insecurities,to become (in her own estimation) one of the most capable and confident people at the camp. Priceless growth and invaluable self-esteem that continues to add to her Lifelong Coper Toolkit. Galil is built to foster this success in young people of every kind.

This is an amazing camp with an incredible learning experience

This camp is by far the most special place anyone could ever imagine. if someone asked me where my favorite place in the whole world is, I would have to say Camp Galil. If I could rate this place out of ten, I'd give it an eleven. Words cannot describe the feeling Camp Galil gives you. You can't explain it. You have to go there to experience it. Go to Camp Galil 2019! You connect with people much older than you, make amazing friends, and do awesome activities. You make a personal connection with people older and younger than you because you all have Galil in common. I even met my current boyfriend there!!! I have a house, but Galil is my home. My second home. I absolutely LOVE it there! Also, shout out to Sayarimot tzevet 2018 and Chotrimot tzevet 2017! Love u guys! Also shout out to my adoptive mom, Zandra Campbell. Love u mom!!! I can't put in words how much I love this camp. Galil makes you feel some different type of way. Galil isn't just a place where you go to get away and make memories you'll never forget. We learn important lessons young people like us need to know. You come to camp hoping to make friends, but leave with a whole new group of people you are proud to call family. If you're ever having a hard time or ever need someone to talk to, the friends you make at Galil are the ones you go straight to. Galil is my home and it makes me so sad I can't be there all year round. At this camp you make lifelong bonds with people you wouldn't expect to be friends with. Galil is not only my home, it's my favorite place, and the place I feel I can most be myself. Send your kids to Galil, you won't regret it.

I was there to support my niece who is a camper. My niece is very nice. The camp is OK. Make sure your car's tires and suspension are in top shape before going because the road before the camp entrance is a pothole moonscape.
