Checked in a little early, around 2. Our room was not ready. Ive been calling all week to ask for a 2pm check in but they said theyre at capacity. Lady who helped me check in said , as a Gold elite you dont have to pay the Resort fee. We can hold your bags and you can enjoy the pool area. We were given a map and head on to the pool area. When we got there we needed a room key to open the gate. Well she didnt give us a key. Called the front desk and said come back and we will give you a key. Mind youits hot in Arizona, walked back and 1 minute later i got the text that my room is ready. Cmon, she just told me there were no rooms ready. Why do they make their clients wait when obviously there was a room ready for me to check in to. The next day my bill was emailed to me bfor check out and the resort fee charge is on the bill. Called the front desk and they will not honor and take out the resort fee. They keep saying sorry thats not our policy and we are stern on not taking out the fee. What kind of customer service is that. They should have said sorry for the incovenience and taken out the resort fee and make sure theyre employees know what they are talking about. Very nice hotel but needs better customer service.
Nice property and location. However, they do not honor the elite status entitlement. Even the manager was unhelpful. For a pricey hotel with resort fees, you have to ask for bottled water every day! Room is not stocked with amenities. You have to call for coffee pods and cups and they ration it out daily. They do not have variety of pillows available. Only one bath robe was provided in the room and it did not look clean.
Our patio had only one chair for two of us. Very poorly organized. Disgrace to the JW Marriott brand.
However, the servers at Rita's and the housekeeping staff were very good and courteous.
We choose to return to this hotel after a decade when our experience was good. But will not stay there again.
Woah! Can't wait to come back again! Got this place for a wonderful rate at . I enjoyed this resort and I'm extremely thankful I stayed here for much less than what I typically pay.
This resort is absolute PARADISE. The grounds are stunning, the location is beautiful, amazing food, everyone is so nice, and it s just so peaceful. This was the most restful vacation I ve ever taken. I cannot wait to come back. I loved every minute.
Such a lovely place! Highly recommended! Our server Kaiwain was amazing! We were here on our honeymoon and he waited on us throughout the resort and made us feel extra special throughout the whole trip!
Very satisfied with this place, it was renovated about a year ago so everything was new and clean. It has a very nice layout, you can basically park right in front of your room opposed to other resorts I ve stayed at where you have to walk a mile to your room. Starbucks on sight was very nice for the wife.
The service...the decor...the room...ambiance... all excellent! We cant say enough about how great our stay has been. Special shout out to Nicki at the front desk for helping us out at the last minute. Also shout out to Kowan in the restaurant, so welcoming. We will definitely be back!
Another great JW resort! The food was great and so were the drinks. The suite upgrade was awesome. Some people had private pools. The main pool is huge and there are adult pools near them. I don't remember what it was called, but there was a drink with a coconut rim and a dark rum float. It was so delicious. If you like Truly, they have them in ice buckets for a slight savings.
This hotel is amazing! Great location, beautiful patios and pool. Our room was spacious and super clean. The real stand out is the people who work here. Lutz checked us in and was so very kind to move our room closer to pool since my husband s knee was swollen. Whitney at the pool greeted us first thing with a cold pitcher of water and towels along with their drink & food menu. Another bonus was live music at the pool and on their gorgeous patio in the evening. Can t say enough about this resort and everyone who works there!
