I came to the emergency room for side pain and ended up having to get my appendix out, every single person I met was nothing but kind and helpful. I felt very taken care of.

This is by far the worst emergency room ever. I live in Calvert, but I will drive right pass this hospital and take the chance of dying on the road to get to a different ER than to die a slow painful death in their waiting room. I had to come here at 3:36 am, and it's now 6:28 yet I'm still waiting with 6 other patients whose been here before me. The staff are so unprofessional and has no compassion for anyone. An inmate came in with two officers in cuffs and shackles looking perfectly okay and was seen immediately after check in.
Today, July 8th.2021, I drove myself to the ER to be evaluated for an issue with my health. I'd like to applaud the staff at the front desk...the sweet and caring nurses ..n technicians, and their most wonderful, loving n caring Doctor!
STEPHANIE Dabulis . I could nt have been treated any better.
I had recieved 5 star quality care at this facility! I am impressed by the staff who work here! I was immediately brought back to a room, Michelle the tech did a great job getting my vitals and getting my IV in place! Laura from registration was very thorough in getting my information because I had never been a patient here. Sharon did a great job in triaging me and was very warm a friendly. Dr. Mohammadi came to my room Pronto and was also very thorough in his evaluation of me and ordered for me to have some life saving meds! Beth the nurse was fabulous as well and gave me said life saving meds as soon as she could because everyone should know that the ER is a busy place and was great at going over my discharge instructions and providing education! Holli the tech was also great at doing my vitals and taking my IV out. This is a great hospital and 10/10 would recommend. Only the finest registration, techs, nurses, and doctors work here.
Every single nurse I ve met was so nice and incredible. I had surgery there yesterday and they did everything to help me. Wish I could give them more than 5
Her suite is clean, her staff members are all nice, and she did an amazing job on my lip fillers. Heathers sister was also amazing! I loved how they treated me like I wasn't just some patient. She took her time and made sure I was happy before I walked out the door. I can't wait to go back for my touch up!
Had to go there for an er visit late at night. Took over 5 hours to get a simple shot. Staff was nice though.
Drove myself to the ER with a GI bleed. Girls at the front desk don't have a clue as to what is an emergency and what isn't. Just same nonchalant attitude. I was told I was gonna have bloodwork done and a CT scan. I waited and waited and ran to the bathroom every 10 to 15 mins bleeding until I got called in. I had arrived about 9pm Sunday night and wasn't seen until 4am Monday morning. I was admitted of course. 7 hours of suffering, I'll go somewhere else next time.
Currently sitting in the Waiting room for the ER, it s been 6 hours with no one coming to see me. Dozens of sick individuals barfing in wheelchairs, blankets and IV s in people s arms with no one being taken back to be seen. This is horrible service on all ends. Literally people yelling and moaning in pain in the waiting room with no relief. It s sad... the people of Calvert county deserve better. Maybe the county should be putting more money into the hospital to accommodate the amount of people living here instead, of spending 10 s of millions of dollars on a state of the art firehouse that only runs fire calls, all state of the art sheriffs cars in a county that has nothing but petty crime but healthcare is left out in the cold.
I live in Waldorf, MD, but due to the spike in Covid cases there were no beds available in any of the nearby hospitals. The ambulance took me to Calvert Medical. I was seen in ER just minutes after my arrival. 15 minutes later I was in the waiting room where people were extremely distanced from each other. 20 minutes passed and my number was called for a bed in the ER. I was well attended to there. About 45 minutes later I was wheeled to my room. The doctors, nurses, and techs were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and professional. I'm so happy I was brought there. This was my 2nd time ever going through ER, the first was over 45 years ago. I can truly say I felt like Royalty! And, all of the rooms are private, which were converted due to the pandemic. That really made me happy!
