Amazing concept and surprisingly good food. Meatball sandwich was great, very flavorful, and a good size. The vegetable soup was chocked full of fresh veggies. All accompanied by thick fresh orange slices and a soft drink. Then comes the question... "What would you like to pay"? This blows my mind... I payed $10 and it was worth every penny.

I LOVE this place!!! I got an artichoke spinach pizza and it was really oily hahah but reallyy good! The staff is super nice, and you get to pay/donate whatever you want or volunteer for an hour for your meal :). Being there made me feel like a terrible person for not having volunteered in a while hahah. So cute! Fast service and complimentary tea :D! What a great concept! Having to name your own price is kindaa difficult though...I also felt like a horrible person for not donating like a million dollars ahaha that's how they get you! Check this place out and support a great cause while you're at it :}!

We happened across this place today for lunch. The guy at the registered explained their non-profit mission and explained that the food prices weren't listed on the menu as it was a donation basis (with a suggested $4 minimum) or that you could work for the food instead.

I LOVE that there are organizations like this that are doing their part to help the homeless/underprivileged and I was happy to donate much more than the suggested minimum donation.

The food was great (healthy and tasty) and when I'm back in this area next time, I'll definitely support this establishment again.

Figured I would help out some homeless and pay for a meal and they have bums sitting outside at a bus stop fondling eachother and then walking back inside too make my food I almost threw up. Look I'm all for helping people but that's just nasty

We came for their community Thanksgiving dinner, and it was awesome. The turkey, potatoes, and green beans were delicious. The cranberry sauce and the pumpkin pie were among the best I ever tasted. Thank you!

A friend and I stopped by yesterday for the first time. I am so impressed. I had never heard of this place or this restaurant concept. I loved it. The pizza was great. My friend enjoyed his soup and salad and the place was spotless. The whole concept just amazes me...in a great way. I will be back.

Will satisfy your soup craving!

Will satisfy your soup craving!

There is no waiter service here, rather you order at the counter and seat yourself wherever. The employees are always friendly.

Try the clam and corn chowder. DO IT!

Fantastic! I was working at the Gothic Theatre and decided to stop in for soup as I was walking around on lunch break. They had just closed, but the lovely person (manager?) who approached me and explained their non-profit mission sent me off with some soup anyway! It was one of the best Tomato Bisque soups I've ever had; Mellow yet tangy with the slightest hint of spiciness. Exactly what I was craving, but found in a completely unexpected way! I will be back to support this awesome organization not just because of the amazing work they are doing, but because their food and atmosphere are really great as well!

This restaurant is a true dining experience! We loved the decor, amazing bar with a wonderful selection of spirits and ambience. We were there on Saturday at 7pm so it was about 80% full at that time with people coming in. We loved the oysters, scallops & grilled Octopus is a must have!!! It's super tender! Melts in your mouth!!
We both ordered the "Rib Cap" and were very pleased!! We usually order the filet mug on and this blew it away with better taste and super tender!! Order it!!! Sides we loved: Brussels sprouts, double baked potatoes & whipped potatoes were delicious! Going back soon!

You'll love your meal and fall even more in love with the mission of Cafe 180. The work they are doing for the community goes beyond just providing meals. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who has a big appetite and even bigger heart.

I had a very very nice time. Everybody was very conscientious to my needs and I was very happy to BeE there. They offer great meal programs such as volunteering for an hour and getting a meal for free which is just fantastic in my opinion. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and will most certainly be returning. I loved it.

Super good spinich and goat cheese salad, pumpkin soup and the ruben. Plus it is a clean, modern and easy to get in and out establishment. Add the good cause that you are contributing to and it makes it all a solid 5 star.

The food was excellent. One review was not so great because the person thought they should have a bigger menu. Perhaps Cafe 180 should also hire a chef from France as well. Another girl was simply bitter about life.
Upon walking in I was greeted extremely favorably, like family. However, my 5 stars gets knocked down to 4 because after ordering it was clear that the (same) man working the front end decided that he didn't really appreciate my presence. "Clear" because the attitude toward me really did seem to change from day to night, at least for a while. (To be fair I can be difficult to understand and complex. But not enough to warrant any kind of a negative response.) In any case I will be coming back and thank you to the Proprietors of One Good Turn for existing. You're doing a great thing!

I came in thinking it was a typical cafe. It was cool to learn about their nonprofit approach, which this neighborhood needs more of. And on top of that, the food was really good. I'll definitely be back.

This is such a neat place. This was my first time here and I was not familiar with the concept. They take donations instead of charging you. I have never heard of this. You pay what you can or want. If you can t pay, you get to eat anyway. Very cool! The food was great and so were the people. Keep up the great work!

Love the concept of this place. Their message is awesome and love the fact that they allow those that can not pay to work for their meal. Food is really good as well. It would be cool to see more places like this
