This restaurant is archaic! Will not provide separate tickets to diners! Even when asked to do so. Do you know what a headache and distaste that leaves one with after an expensive meal.... S very very
expensive meal! Yes I want my check separate .... It's a piece of paper and a few minutes of your time. My view of.

We ordered the low country boil for six people. It was delivered ten minutes early by a very professional gentleman, Patrick I think. PLENTY of food. Very good and would be eating it tonight, if I could. Do it !! You will be glad you did. RDL

Have been several times. Food was very good as usual. However it was so loud that I could not talk with my wife without yelling. When we started to order we were assured that we had two hours for our dining experience. They insisted that we order the entire meal at once. Then they proceeded to serve the food as quickly as possible. Salad came before appetizer and entree as soon as they could place it on the table. I enjoy the food but the experience is not really worth the price.

Called to get desserts to go. I was told they only accomodate eat in patrons. I was trying to help out restaurants by ordering out during covid, but was unable to. I will try to contribute to another local Santa Rosa Beach restaurant...

This was our first trip to Cafe Tango. The wedge salad and The appetizer Shrimp Scampi were both good but not amazing; however, The filets are amazing. Melt in your mouth. My husband got the Dancing Fish which featured grouper as the fish of the day. He said it was excellent. One of my sons got the chorizo grouper and he said he probably wouldn t order again. Nothing bad just not memorable. We had a great server. What struck us as odd was that another server came to our table and asked our adult son to Remove his cap which he would Normally never wear to dinner but he just had surgery a month ago and is still hiding a scar. So a hat offended them but not one employee wore a mask to protect themselves or others from covid. No social distancing either.

We have been vacationing in the Santa Rosa area for 12 years and we went here tonight for the first time. We are what people call food snobs because we expect excellent food and service. This was by far the best meal we have ever had in the area over all the years of coming here. Excellent food and the service was phenomenal! This place will definitely be one of our go to s every year, no doubt!

This place is so good! We have been to a lot of places on 30a and this ranks as one of the top without a doubt! The customer service and hospitality is top notch. The prepared meal was delivered to our doorstep on-time and was spectacular! So much food for the money. We will definitely be eating here or having it delivered again soon!

I have eaten at the restaurant a few times and a little above average at best. Tried to make a reservation for a party of 8 a month in advance and too difficult for them to figure out . I see why they only have 8 tables because I dont think they could handle anymore. Wouldn't waste your time or money becaue many more better choices in the area!!

We celebrated our anniversary last night at Cafe Tango, one of Blue Mountain Beach s original cottages. It reminds us of tiny New Orleans restaurants and felt like we were dining in someone s home with only 8 tables inside. Quaint and romantic. Love how simplistic their menu is - focusing on excellent quality over too much to choose from. Their Filet Mignon is top 2 in my book, cooked perfectly with awesome sides of garlic mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Finished our meal with Key Lime Pie which balanced everything so well! We didn t split for once and ate every single bite of our meal. Cannot wait to go back! Truly one of 30A s hidden gems and secrets.

We enjoyed the intimate & eclectic beach setting. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable & personable. Appetizer options were creative and a nice break from your typical beach restaurant. Mainly seafood & beef entrees; each dish was carefully curated & thoughtfully planned. Complex flavors and nice presentation. Just a great all around experience. Like supper at a friend s home..without having to bring anything!

Classy surf and turf joint with about 9 tables placed somewhat closely together inside a house-turned-restaurant. Food quality is best I have tried within 100 miles, and service is excellent as well. Decent wine selection. Expect $30-40 per plate and occasionally a parking challenge.

A reservation is highly recommended, especially during summer or winter.

This is a local's joint more than a tourist haunt--no wild beach views or crowds.

I am writing this review(and the first I have ever written about any establishment)about the arrogance and apparent disregard of Cafe Tango for loyal customers and my disappointment as a result. Please understand this review is not about the quality of the food- it is phenomenal. We have been multiple times over the last 12-15 years and have never had a bad meal. Last night was no exception. It was just absolutely delicious(with the associate chef cooking even- the main chef had the night off). The service was impeccable and we enjoyed it so much that we made a reservation before leaving for tonight because we wanted to share this culinary experience with our college aged daughter who was driving down to meet us. I couldn t understand why my business partner of 20 years that lives at Bella Vida just up the road from Cafe Tango stopped going, something about no regard for customers and rushing you thru when you are there so they can seat the next reservation. This do it the way we say or go somewhere else is why he stopped going. He eats out nightly and makes an evening of it at various establishments that all know him as Doc . They all love him and the business he brings in because of his outspoken nature of the really good food establishments available to eat along 30A- he has lived here for close to 30 years. Well, I understand know what he meant. After making the reservation... with the staff AT THE RESTAURANT LAST NIGHT.... I got a call from Cafe Tango saying he didn t have any idea where we got this reservation cause they didn t even seat people at the time we were given. I explained that we were actually there eating last night and his staff made the reservation and he said, well this is the head chef and we can t accommodate that reservation. He offered an earlier time which didn t work due to our daughter coming down and his answer was- sorry . And cancelled our reservation. Sorry for the long note but just so so disappointed with Cafe Tango and despite a very long romance with the wonderful food they have, we will probably never return.

We had a phenomenal experience at Cafe Tango this evening. The ambiance, the timing of the courses, the taste and presentation of the food, the service. Everything was fabulous. Truly. Thank you KENDALL! We will most definitely be back. What a delight!

We recently ordered the "Chef Prepared Delivered Meals" Low Country Seafood Boil and it was fabulous. It came with a shrimp boil, gumbo, smoked tuna dip, salad, and a key lime pie. It was a lot of food for a great price- we even had plenty of leftovers. I would 100% recommend.
