I went to see Animal Magnetism an awesome Scorpions tribute band. They rocked the place. The wait staff was friendly and the food amazing. Had the steak sandwich and fries. I'm hoping to get up there again!

Great place to listen and enjoy dancing with a variety of live bands performing.

Excellent place to have a good time. Good attention, live music and delicious food.

Great local hangout but their door charge is very hefty.

Great bi-level stage, superb soundman, great servers, reasonable prices, outstanding music, you have to check out the Noodles every Sunday, a sacred experience.

Love all the ownership and staff who work there! Always get awesome tribute bands too! I hope they get some original local rock/metal cause the Phoenix AZ area has some amazing bands! My only beef is the food is a little on the high side. Other wise it would get 5 stars sorry! Went there for Zeppapotapus last week,and the Noodles before that great music/fun yeah!

Good place to see a live band , gal behind the bar needs a bit of a attitude adjustment on how treat customer's. But wait staff is on point.

It's ok. I've had generally good experiences here but the food wasn't that great. Menu could use work. I've never been here for a show and that's probably when this place shines, so take my review with a grain of salt.

Not enough parking. Poor lighting in the parking lot. Cover charge is too high in the Time of the virus. Friendly staff at the door. Overall not satisfied enough to be willing to return for the Live music.

It was a busy night at Cactus Jack's. So why do you not have more than 1 server? She did great, considering the size of the crowd, but should have had help.

Amazing space, staff, food, shows, and cleanliness. This place has everything needed for a great night out or day!

If you didn't have a $10 cover you would probably have more people come in. Good Times Charlie's is always packed and they don't charge a cover. The bands are good, you will make up your money with them. Don't show a menu that you can't serve. Only fried food?

This could b a very nice place to spend an evening ..IF the owner would spend some time there & see what is working and what isn't ..it seems everybody cares but him

Came to eat and line dance ,$3 cover, unless you spend $12. But you can't spend $12. We tried. Didn't get menu for at least a half hour. Drinks took 20 minutes. When we got the menu they said only burgers, pizza, or wings...Ok. 30 minutes later they took our order, we ordered a pizza and a burger. Brought out the pizza....its pretty good. Then she comes and says they don't have buns or catsup......what????? Brought a bun less burg that was super rare(ordered well done) . Never saw her again until she came for the credit card ....hmmm. Took $2.50 OFF the bill....come to dance, not to eat or drink....but at $3 a person they wont or be open long.

This place has an energy that follows you home and colors your days with the anticipation of going back to feel it again and again! Thursday nights with the Rock-a-raoke band are especially wonderfilled! I love this place! The food is exceptionally awesome the Fry Basket the margarita pizza is the best anywhere and the service and the staff and the entertainment or unequaled! I feel sorry for you if you haven't been there yet! It's that awesome! Thanks guys!

An experience beyond expectations, great live Karaoke band and great karaoke aficionados, beyond amateur singing. Great service, descent food.

Laid back atmosphere, good bar food. Great spread of TVs to watch sporting events. I mainly come here to play poker on Monday's and Tuesday's

Been to a few events, nice place seems small but hold a pretty good crowd. Good local spot to get some vibes and owners are true friendly folks.

The best experience I have had in awhile, friendly loving people,, make sure you tip the staff well. Great good, great atmosphere. Great time.

Excellent bar - There is always something going on at Cactus. I highly recommend stopping in whether is it for watching games, casino nights, listening to great live music, or enjoying the tasty food!

Art and Gina are some of the friendliest owners I've ever met! The bartenders Sammy, Mikey,Jamielynn, Jenny, Abby, Kourt, Lashea and Jay were very inviting and knowledgeable about Sports and Music. They have a hippie Grateful Dead show on Sundays after football... that's pretty fun. Even the door guy Ryan was really nice. Plus Live Music almost every night! Line dancing, poker, craps AND they have Paint Nite like once a month with plenty of room to paint... they have it all. If you're gonna be in Ahwatukee this is the place you wanna stop in for a beer, wings, pizza or tacos. I've tried them all... they're awesome!!

The actual cocktail server had attitude don't know what's up almost to bother to server us. After her shift ordered the bar the bartender made it better

This was a great restaurant. I don't drink so I am not sure how their drinks are but their food is amazing. Everything tasted very fresh and was cooked perfectly. I talked with one of the cooks and they said they get everything locally and do all of their own butcher work so the meats are extremely fresh and very delicious. Cactus Jacks also offered some great entertainment. They had a whole schedule of all kinds of bands and singers which performed during the month. Definitely a fun place to be.

I think on Halloween you should have a 5-8pm, 13 years old party
After 8 over 21. The kids have no where to go with their creative costumes. Charge a $5 cover charge....play the juke box Monster mash etc. You will sell alot of food and drinks for the adults.

The coconut mojito is so good and hh was real nice. Not too busy, great service. Decor is cute. Not the most Cactus Jack's Bar & Grill place I've ever been but worth the visit.

This has been a favorite ahwatukee bar now for over 20 years. Great service, cheap drinks and decent food.

It was a horrible place to host an event like Magic Mike and not mention standing room only if not VIP. We left and didnt even watch the show.

The worst place ever to buy a vehicle They had my bugle for 2 months and I still want me to make payments and paper the parts total nightmare and it still broken down

Used to be a chill place, now that they've gotten rid of their pool tables, raised their prices and have a bunch of ridiculous middle aged "wanna be rockstar" cover bands I'm not impressed, if you want to spend $9 for a beer there are better places to do it.

Well, I'm still recovering from last night but I always have a blast at Cactus Jack's. Try the chicken strips, hand dipped n good. They have lots of beer n such too. Be aware, I've seen hippies there from time to time. Yeah, like every time I'm there there is at least one hippie type there. I see him in the mirror looking right at me.

The food is not good and the service is laughable. But if you're coming here for the band, i guess they assume you won't care because you'll show up no matter what. Enjoy the band, but eat before you come.

Chicken Caesar salad was soggy with chewy chicken. Burger sliders were dry. Chicken fingers were mostly bread but ok. Fries were a gamble: some good, some overdone and soggy, some undercooked. The southwest egg rolls were not bad. They do not offer any vegetarian options and were hesitant to make a grilled cheese, but did oblige.

Tl;dr: It was fine for the atmosphere but don't go expecting to eat well.

Great bands. Unfortunately, service sucks. I am visiting and paid $12 to get in and hear bands which are great. Been here about 2 hours and have yet to be waited on. Horrible service. If you come, eat first and come for bands.

Super fun venue. And a fabulous mushroom Swiss burger. Always great live music. And something going on every night. Thursdays are live band karaoke. Etc.

Excellent venue!! Played a soldout show here in my band Icons & Anthems opening for ZEBRA!! Fantastic stage/lighting..Ken the soundman is world class...bar staff is effecient and friendly good food...all around really wonderful place!!

1st time there. Nice place, felt very comfortable which made it easy to have a good time. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner; just an awesome lady, very kind. I recommend and will definitely go again.
