Took a day trip to occupy the kiddos and get Xmas ideas....love the atmosphere

Love this place. I could spend all day here and I did. I've been to a few of their locations and this is easily the largest. I love the displays with the animals and all the information to give you a background of the different types of species and where they're native to. I was there for a few different reasons, clothing and ammo. Can't go wrong with the clothing selection as you can get whatever you need short of a tux for a wedding. Great selection of boots as well. Availability of ammo was about what I expected. Not enough to stock up for the revolution but enough to get me to the show and stand a chance at the end. Definitely more than most gun and ammo stores I've been to. Firearms, forget it they're out. All the paranoid first time buyers have gobbled up the good stuff unless you want a nice shiny $2000 revolver. All in all good day at Cabelas, I'll be back for sure.

Absolutely huge store with incredible amounts of fishing gear. Great selection of lures, some stuff you don't find at bass pro as well. The store itself is a work of art.

I am 2 1/2 hours away and i go 3 or 4 times a year. Love this store. Great deals and great staff. My kid loves the aquarium and animal displays. Highly recommended.

Great store for outdoor activities. Has a museum of stuffed animals that is worthwhile for adults and children to visit.

Huge place..great selections on everything..if they dont have it, you didnt really need it anyways

We are grateful to Cabela's of Hamburg, PA for allowing overnight stays. We used this one night stay to test out our RV with our first time boondocking experience. We also were able to use the dumping station for free there before we left. We enjoyed our shopping, overnight sleep and the beautiful scenery. We even met some great people that camped in the parking lot next to us who had the same RV back at home.

This is one of the largest Cabela's that I've been in. Has a full "mountain" with lots of mounts as well as an African section. Has a large selection of products, is clean, and appears to be well managed. Very nice!

This place is huge. There is a mountain full of stuffed animals. Almost any outdoor gear you could ever want under one roof. Lunch is served on the upper floor.

The store was better when it was owned by Cabela's and not Bass Pro. The cabin wear section, they've turned into a toy section because that is what everyone needs when they go to an outdoor store, toys.... The bargain cave is no more and quality of clothes is not the same.

I forgot to pack my backpack on a road trip to a convention, and decided to stop here to get a new one, turns out that it was the best decision, because the new one I got here made the convention so much more enjoyable!

They have the best customer service I have ever seen in a big box store. The store has competitive pricing and a vast selection of whatever you are looking for. They even have the off the wall items that other stores will not carry. I have been going to all names of sporting good stores for many many years and Cabelas always comes out on top. They may not always be the cheapest place to shop for all things, but you will not get ripped off either. They will also price match if you find the item cheaper elsewhere. I have even had Cabelas employees in the past help me find the best deal on the internet then give me that price. For that and the fact that they back everything and every brand they sell, they will always have this person as a customer... One more thing, their employees are very knowledgeable in the department's that they are selling in...

Everything you want from an outdoor sports store and more.

If you've never been to this Cabela's in Hamburg Pennsylvania is the largest Cabela's store I believe. They have multiple choices on any item in the store along with their own brand. Totally awesome great place to look at stuffed animals and all different settings of all different kinds and life issues to look at all so I know they have fishing exhibits there where you can actually cast into a fishing pond sometimes too

Always a joy to go here. Never gets old to look at the stuffed animals, and the guns. Plus the fact that you can take your dog inside.

Fiirst time there..and had a great shopping experience besides being with friend's and family.

All that you may need for that once or twice in a lifetime adventure in the great outdoors. Seriously, if you need it, Cabelas' has it, if they don't reprioritize your needs.

Staff was very helpful in directing us to what we needed to find. There are so many interesting things to check out at the store, and there are SO many opportunities to make a good pun.

Great place to visit weather or not if your a sportsman. Great food and displays oh ya don't forget to see there indoor aquariums

ever impressive! I always have to visit the fish first! They are amazing! The taxidermy displays are just wonderful. I forget that ann animal had to die to there but I would never see these amazing creatures any other way. The goods that they sell are top quality and their cafeteria has a lot to offer. Plan on spending a good part of the day here because there is a lot to discover every time you go.

Surprisingly awesome place for hunting/camping gear for both kids and adults. It's like a mimi-museum which is great for younger kids. As a passer-by when needed a break traveling through PA.

My two year old son loved it.

I have not been there for years. They seemed skimpier on items like clothes ect. And it needed a good cleaning.

Fantastic selection. If it relates to outdoor sports, they probably have it. Excellent selection of new and pre-owned firearms, including antiques. The Hamburg location has beautiful taxidermy. You have to stop by and see Deer Country and the African Safari rooms.

The only reason for the 4 star rating is the process of purchasing a firearm is much longer than a good local gun shop. Three to five hours is a ridiculously long time to complete the purchase. I've bought two weapons from them but won't be buying a third unless it's an extremely good deal.

Are you on a road trip and feeling restless or your kids are doing their best impression of a pinball in your car? Well, first of all, you should strap them in. Next, you should consider a stop at Cabela's. There is literally a MOUNTAIN of taxidermy with some staged quite dramatically. Look for the quiet zebra predator as they stand watching another scene of predator and prey. There's ample parking, a horse exercise area, dog kennels (outdoor), restaurant, conference rooms, and just under department store quality bathrooms. Retail-wise this is an outdoorsmen's wonderland of products and more. My owner and friends found themselves almost ready to start and complete Christmas shopping in July in one place. They also theorized every taxidermy eye actually had video cameras, so that security matched a Vegas Casino. This place humbles IKEA visits. Also consider stopping at Roadside America (a huge miniature village) less than 10 miles down the road.

This store is amazing. They have everything you could possibly want for the outdoors. They can be a bit expensive on certain things but their sales and bargain cave are great for savings. Even if you are not really into outdoorsy things it is still worth it to just walk around inside. The huge fish tank, the mountain with all kinds of exotic mounts, the deer mount museum, the safari mounts, and the cafe upstairs are must sees. Their cafe has all kinds of different meats and the food is great! I could spend all day in there! Love this place!

Was entertaining. Went there for the car show. Very windy that day. Was fun sitting at cafe tables and chatting. We all shopped after and I got a small stuffed wolf. <3

I like Cabela's. However they need to improve their customer service with regard to check out and customer examination of firearms. I waited for over 30 minutes and they only called 2 customers for the firearms counter, there were still 14 ahead of me. Not worth my time. Their check out line for the pot my wife wanted was over an hour wait. Again, not worth it. Left both the counter and the pot behind.

Great taxidermy and Good stop for sights, but pricey if you want to buy anything. I've had a great pair of cabelas brand boots, but usually leave disappointed in the prices. Sometimes a deal, but mostly designer prices for name brands. Nice views and fun to look! We stop passing by often.

Cabela's is a great place to shop. You can buy everything from clothes to weapons and ammo.

Pretty nice clearance section as well. They have facilities for campers to unload their grey water and whatnot.

It's the catalog but hands-on. Great place to take the children. Large fish tanks and taxidermy displays throughout the store.

Beautiful shop many varieties for home sport fishing

Stopped at Cabelas Hamburg PA. 10:30am. Ordered a gun online. 1 person working firearms, 6 other people at least observing the isles scanning and doing really nothing. And 2 people here waiting for service. Over an hour wait just to talk to someone. When asked an associate I just have a question . Got shot Dow. By associate .i can t answer I have to work with just this person. Over an hour and a half wait just to talk with an associate. Will only deal with local gun shops in the future no matter what the cost. No wonder company was bought out.

What a fantastic outdoor sporting store. You feel like your in the outdoors with all the outdoor settings, small pond, with trout. You can spend the entire day here and we did.Aquarium, and make believe shooting gallery of western theme.And great selection of camping, outdoor, hunting, fishing gear for all your needs.

Great place to get hunting and fishing gear, clothing also. Guns are a bit pricey. Well worth the visit even if you are just "hunting" for a bargain.

Just visited the store in Hamburg Pa. Noticed changes in the store since I was there last. Disappointed that alot of floor space devoted to clothing that I could go to the MALL and buy. The selection of hunting equipment on display is not nearly what it used to be. I go to the store to handle the the equipment I want to purchase. If I wanted to shop for regular clothing I'd go to the damn MALL.

Store is great . Got duped into applying for cabella visa was approved but took over a hour and nothing special was offerd other tha systems running slow.

Always able to find what I need here and they often have fun events for the kids.

I stopped at the Cabelas in Hamburg Pennsylvania disappointing trip as it is like walking into a museum. Went with the purpose of checking out the Gun Library to see if there were anything special I had to have. Lots of guns and as you expect at Cabela's all overpriced.

HOURS LISTED ARE NOT CORRECT! double check before you go. We drove an hour and showed up as they were closing. The boys were in tears. Can't rate the experience, never made it inside.
