In addition to unfriendly & unprofessional staff compared to other supermarkets, the experience has been greatly reduced after the renovation. Unfortunately, Christmas shopping was a disaster, chanterelles in the mushroom mix washed with hydrogen peroxide, no longer yellow but glassy white and soaked like a sponge.
Blue cheeses for the toast, dried out and rancid, bleu stilton even stale.
Sprigs of thijn and rosemary, dry and not yet sawable with a chainsaw.
Salads for the toast, watery and tasteless with the acidity of rattepis mixed with water.
If Jumbo labeled this as quality, it still has to learn a lot, a lot.

Surprisingly large and expanded after the renovation. Wide paths, wide range and lots of fresh products, bakery and butcher. Also local products and of course the liquor store. The only thing that is a shame is that the self-scan cash registers are crumpled around a pole in a corner, so that everyone there gets in each other's way, especially with a cart and it is difficult to keep their distance.

We went to the Jumbo in Meppel and bought a big bottle of Yildriz garlic sauce on the way back home. At home we have eaten Turkish bread with shoarma from the Jumbo from Meppel and my son-in-law has the new bottle Yildriz on the shawarma meat. And he took a bite of the shawarma meat with sauce and he handed over. And he looked that the bottle of Yildriz garlic sauce was already over the date. What was that filthy. He went to vomit. The date on the bottle was 04-11-2018. My son-in-law is really kind. And he was reading this dirty mess that happened to be about the date. Gatsie. Still supermarkets that have their products on the date. Do not know if this often occurs at other supermarkets.

Neat supermarket that leaves little to be desired, staff can sometimes be a bit friendlier but everyone can have a bad day, generally all nicely dressed and helpful.

Love this supermarket - right next to town Centre but nice big car park makes it easy to get there.
