C Lazy U Ranch Reviews

I discovered this ranch three years ago and have been going back every year since. Can't wait for my next trip later this year. Amazing place for horse lovers. Great trail rides in beautiful scenery, great food and a very nice, upscale environment. Groups are divided by skill level which means more advanced riders get to do lots of trotting and loping. The horses are some of the best trained horses I have ever ridden & the head wrangler does an amazing job of pairing the riders with the right horse.

Booked a 5 day elk hunt here so I didn't take advantage of many of the other amenities...beautiful place and lots of activities to offer. Great food and all the staff are attentive and very accommodating. Oh...and the hunting was great!

Beautiful Scenery and very helpful and professional staff . Also the cabins were nice. If you wanna be as close to the rockies and do cowboy stuff like riding horses this is the place for you. Oh and the food was great.

Fantastic staff and ranch. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Very accommodating and patient. Amazing horses and a wide variety of other activities, though my horse crazy kid spent most of her (and my) time with the horses. Excellent with young children and adults.

Wow wow wow! Where does one even begin--this is such an extraordinarily unique and special place. The setting is transcendent, perfectly positioned in a low valley enveloped by mountains. The staff feels like one big, happy family. A sense of history and charm pervades the facilities and the activities offered are varied and delightful (a late afternoon pickup hockey game on the pond, anyone?). C Lazy U Ranch is a very, very special place!

Love this ranch! The variety of things to do, the beautiful accommodations, the truly exceptional staff, the horses, the food, the scenery, the spa...and more! The jingle is my new favorite early morning way to start the day!

Our family stayed at C Lazy U Ranch every year for 14 years. This is a great place for both adults and children. The only downside? Once you bring your kids here, you will never be able to go anyplace else!! During the week you are here, you (and all the other guests and staff) become family. Awesome place.

There are few words I can write that haven't already been expressed in the numerous reviews captured in TripAdvisor. Simply put, our family has already secured dates to return to this incredible property and experience the adventures and the commitment made by every staff member. The ranch's programming format provided everyone in our family an opportunity to experience horsemanship, out of doors activities in age appropriate groups and as families. Children and teens will return form their outings filled with stories about accomplishments and all the fun they had with their counselors. I must confess the adults in our group had just as many stories as our children to share with the family each day. For those of you who take advantage of the horsemanship activities, you'll be assigned a horse and will talk about its personality and the bond you've formed. My horse was named Janet and I'll be requesting her again next year. After experiencing the ranch and all its amenities, it's my opinion the overriding Ranch's objective of insuring an exceptional adventure for the entire family was met and exceeded.

Great place for one and for all the family did the fireworks show there on the fourth amazing people

From the moment we arrived we felt like family. The staff was very attentive, super knowledgeable and took care of all our concerns. The outdoor experiences were first class and the food was off the charts amazing. Chef was a rock star. We will no doubt be back and are eager to invite our friends and family to join.

Incredible family experience. We were novice horse back riders and by the end of our trip, thanks to numerous wranglers, we felt very knowledgeable and comfortable on the horses. Food was amazing and the views were stunning!

C Lazy U is a 10! Gorgeous, lots to do, great food, service, and accomodations. Will be back. Kevin ps... my kid loved it.
