This is a cute and cozy place in orange circle. The wait was a bit to long to get our food. We got one of the orders much later than the rest. Taste was ok but way too much garlicky for my taste. Portions were small for the price.

I highly recommend Byblos! Some of the best mediterranean food in Orange County. Been going here for 20 years. Best patio in the Orange Circle. The lentil soup is AMAZING. Love the mediterranean platter.

It's a local Lebanese style cafe with some casual and special Mediterranean food and dishes. Price is reasonable and can be a good place for any occasion. They also have Turkish coffee which is brewed in special Lebanese style with some herbs, so it might be different from what you've tried before.

This was our first time at Byblos cafe. Amazing shrimp kabob, hummus and tabouli. My husband enjoyed the lamb shank, which was tender and flavorful. We enjoyed the pistachio baklava; perfect ending to our meal. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Great address, cozy atmosphere, very pleasant shaded terrace, the food is delicious. The attentive and friendly staff, all for a very reasonable price, is rare. The desserts are to die for. I highly recommend.

I've been coming here for 30+ years. I remember, in the beginning, when it was just a beat up Lebanese food store that served felafels. Over the years, I've watched the owners manage to raise children and serve excellent, honest and authentic Lebanese cuisine - and always serve it with a smile. Perfect.

This is a great family operated restaurant in the Orange Plaza. This is our first time visiting since the restaurant remodel and it transformed into a word wonderful experience with great food and service. They also have a few craft beers on tap.

I was looking for a Mediterranean or Greek place to have lunch, Byblos Cafe is located right by the Orange Circle, plenty of parking spaces. I ordered a chicken kebab and it was very good, chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. The house salad was fresh and the best part was the hummus. I am not a hummus guy but this hummus was awesome. I asked the manager hummus didn't taste like a typical hummus she mentioned it's Lebanese style, I can tell the food is authentic after trying other restaurants in OC and in Greece. The lunch came with pita bread, very reasonable prices.

One of my favorite hidden gems in OC. Very friendly service. I don't go often enough for them to know me but they always treat me kindly. The food is delicious. The outdoor seating in the back reminds me of dinning in Europe. I take all my friends here.

We ate at Byblos a month ago while in Orange on business. My wife needs gluten free and no cow dairy so we tried this. She had the lamb shank and it was amazing. I don't go for shank but this changed me. I had lamb kabob and they were good but we are back in Orange again and I am getting the shank baby! Oh, and we had turkish coffee for the first time and got a second round, wow! We ordered a set and coffee online for home that night and do it every day. Literally this place is habit forming.

This restaurant is the one I like best. I go to many restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The crew is very friendly and the cuisine they serve is so delicious. I would always prefer to have a decent meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Charming little restaurant. Our hostess Zalfa was a dear and Adel cooked an amazing diner. I strongly recommend it for date night or just getting together with friends. The veggie dish is a must and the Kanafeh desert came cooked to order on a hot plate, absolutely delicious. This will be my new favorite local resturant.

I was not happy. I waited a long time for my food, while I noticed people sitting around me eating before I even got my food (those people were not even here when I was seated).
When I ask how much longer my food would take the waitress didn't get back to me. I had to get up and ask a second time. I wanted a small side to go with my pita sandwich and they wanted to charge me more for a side; than for a pita sandwich itself!!

I asked for extra napkins, I only got one. No one ever came back and asked me did I need anything else until AFTER I asked for my bill. What kind of sense does that make I've already asked for my bill!!

The pitas family was really small, not filling, and the chicken not that flavorful; very bland and, I couldn't even taste garlic sauce on it. I don't recommend this place. I will not be back.

The wait staff were not knowledge. They seemed to not get along. Our waiter seemed distracted and could not remember things we ordered. Our food came out slow and luke warm. The food was not as good as before the remodel.

Fun and delicious spot in Orange. Stopped here on a weekday at lunch in November--warm enough to sit outside (shady and cooler in the back, but quieter than the street seating). Loved the ambiance, and all of our choices were excellent: pizza with ground beef, another pizza with olives and tomatoes, and some hummus and pita. Best part? This place is not expensive! Most of our items were in the $6-$9 range, which made for an extremely affordable lunch. Highly recommend.

The first thing you ll notice about Babylos Cafe is the lack of attention towards ways of preventing Covid-19 spread. Two elderly rmployees, a man and woman, could be seen with their face shields above their foreheads, each wearing no mask at all. I could even see the man scratch his face with his bare hands by where food is, not wearing any gloves. Another employee was behind the counter the entire time since he arrived wearing no mask or shield. Pretty unacceptable and inconsiderate towards people who want to eat there, especially when their actions are so easily visible from the sidewalk.

I had lunch for the first time at Byblos Cafe at the Plaza Square in Old Towne Orange.

I had the lamb kabob and it was absolutely delicious! Of course, I had the baklava with pistachio for dessert...and it was equally superb! I'm looking forward to my next lunch there.

I had been meaning to stop by here a while back when i noticed the renovation going on, but always ended up putting it off. I'm upset at myself now for doing so. This place is an absolute gem.

Although i only had a light lunch and drinks I could not be happier about my experience. Tim and Zalfa were great hosts! So very warm and welcoming, very helpful with suggestions and questions.

The atmosphere and decor is very fitting, the food is obviously made with great care and pride. Don't miss out on their baklava or warm pita bread! I'm certainly glad that they're here to stay- they out class most any other option around Old Towne.

Worst meal of all time. Ordered three different plates to share with my husband and neither of us could find a single thing worth eating. We did takeout and even the pita bread was terrible and delivered in the store bag. We ve eaten a lot of Mediterranean, and this was hands down the worst we ve ever had. Really, really disappointed.

I would never eat in that restaurant again the food was horrible the quantities were very tiny. My plate literally looked like it was made out all the other people s leftovers price was high and I m never ever going back there again

Authentic and fast, this Mediterranean cafe serves some delicious homemade shawarma raps and lamb plates. The fresh vegetables and herbs are delicious and house pickled. Also very reasonably priced, highly recommend.
