I got my first Butcher Box a few weeks ago. It was better than I expected! The chicken, steak, scallops, lobster tails, baby back ribs...all superb. I highly recommend Butcher Box. You won't regret it! Here are the baby backs in all their smoky deliciousness.

This was the first time I ordered from Butcher Box. I did so mainly because of the convenience and because of the quality of the meat. Grass fed and open range....those are great things, no chemicals or hormones that affect you. The meat arrived in a very secure and padded shipping box that had dry ice to maintain the meats frozen status. This packaging really kept everything rock hard frozen. I ordered the hamburgers...all beef and have tried these. They were very tasty and when cooked were not dried out at all. I also ordered the Sock Eye Salmon....and it was delicious. If you don't mind paying a little more for quality meats, poultry and fish...you will not be disappointed. I like the ease of choosing what I want in my package and changing so I don't get the same thing every order!!
We've been a customer for about 3 years and have been very impressed by the quality of the meat. Having the Butcher Box subscription works out to be cheaper than buying grass fed and pastured chicken individually. The beef and chicken are fantastic, but the pork is really on another level, tender juicy and flavorful. Very happy we decided to join.
I love the convenience of ButcherBox delivery and the quality of meat is great. I feel good about what I am purchasing and consuming. The cuts/types of meat I get in each box are always different, which is great so that we aren't just eating the same things over and over. The add-ons are also a good resource to throw in a few extra items when you know you need it. Scheduling for shipment of your next box is super flexible - during the height of the pandemic, when I was cooking more and not going to the grocery store, I was able to change my bill/ship date to far sooner than my quarterly cycle to replenish the freezer!
Butcher Box is awesome! They have the highest quality meats and I never have any problems with shipping or damaged packages. I have shipped my subscription boxes all over the country (depending on where I'm traveling and staying) and I've never had any problems. You can change the quantity and items in your box at anytime, it's so easy, I recommend Butcher Box to everyone. I only wish they sold liver as well. I go to US Wellness Meats for that but hopefully Butcher Box will carry that one day too.
Love ButcherBox. Easily one of the best subscription services out there (on a part with Chewy). Love the sourcing of the meats, the variety, the ease of managing the orders, the delivery and the recyclable packaging. My favorites: individually frozen burgers, scallops, hot dogs, bacon, chicken thighs (see photo) and steaks.
