My first time at this winery and it was such a great experience! The person doing our wine tasting was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. We walked out buying 3 bottles! Would definitely come back again :)

(Came here in August)

I came to Burning Kiln as part of my stop with Ride the Bine tour. The first thing that's great is the property itself. Just looking at it from the driveway is beautiful. The lush green field, the gorgeous winery, the lunch patio, and even the new glass venue for events is breath taking.

I'm not usually a wine drinker, but since we were able to test some, I have found my new love for white wine! Horse & Boat and Sweet Leaf are AMAZING wines. My boyfriend likes red wine, and really enjoyed the Kiln Hanger.

Their open air patio is also the cutest spot. It's perfect for grabbing some food to go along with all the wine you'll drink. If you like Perch, you'll definitely need to try their perch tacos. My boyfriend got these and said they were some of the best fish tacos he's ever eaten. I ordered the gourmet burger, and let me tell you... it was the BEST burger I've ever eaten. You can tell it was hand pressed and fresh.. the meat was so juicy and fell apart so easily. Paired up with the goat cheese & roasted red peppers just completed it! Do yourself a favour and come get this burger!!

If I didn't live 2 hours away, I'd definitely be here more often! I'm actually upset I can't enjoy the wine and burger more often... I would also love to hold events here as the property is to die for. It would be perfect for photos.. and weddings too!

The biggest name in the region (and the most expensive in my opinion) but well worth the cost. A great series of wines, a knowledgeable staff and an ever present food truck in the warmer weather. the bubbly is expensive, but well worth the treat, the grounds are well manicured and picturesque. Small tasting area, but great, great wine (Love the riesling)

Fantastic local winery with a real flair for local tobacco history! Many of us locals can relate to the tobacco terms they have named their wines after and it makes it a lot of fun! We make a point of taking day trips here acouple times during the summer.
We brought friends for a tasting and early supper this summer and Monique made our tasting extra special and was a huge hit with her witty humour. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about their wines.
Last time we visited we couldn t get into the restaurant and we were worried we wouldn t even get a glass of wine because it was closing time! But we had nothing to fear... the staff at the tasting building were very accommodating and let us know it was actually cheaper to buy the whole bottle rather than 2 glasses! ...that was a hard sell ! They set us up on the beautiful covered patio overlooking the vineyard, and Monique came to our rescue and told us about their local Jensen cheese ball and crackers! It was an absolutely perfect evening!! The ladies even came out and joined us for a glass of wine after work and we had a great chat.
Can t wait to go back again soon!

Dog friendly and stroller accessible patio at their restaurant, Canned Heat, complete with outdoor entrance hand washing station has only one drawback-- they only serve black coffee (or with sugar) as they have no creamer options available due to outdoor capacity limitations.
Understandably popular, tables fill up FAST -- not even an hour into opening on a Sunday afternoon and there were no open tables.
Everything else is great though so bring your mask (required if you intend at all to use their "facilities") and check them out early!

Such a lovely place!!! We had monique helping us out and she was very friendly and created such a fun experience! The wines are so yummy and the bottles are pretty reasonably priced! There was also such a cute dog named charlie and very well behaved! Will definitely return! :)
