I purchased stitched clothes from down town market in super market F-7 markaz islamabad. It is relatively cost effective market.

Your visit to Islamabad isn't completed if you not visited this place I mean taking a round a round gol market :)

Jinah super market is a complete open market having food, cloth, crockery, grocery and everything u might need. Good sitting place easy parking makes it a best choice. I personally enjoy sitting there and observing things

Good place but there are few brands for shopping and few resturaunts so you can say an average good place.

All good shops now in wtc Giga mall and Centaurus mall.
For electronics like big screen TVs or ACs etc you have to go to main blue area anyway. Jinnah market just looks pointless and run down now. A decade or more ago it was definitely somewhere to visit.
If you are in the vicinity , and can't go to Giga mall or Centaurus mall , then go to SAFA gold mall which is right next to Jinnah market, it is very small but has a few good shops like Next plus a food hall.
Plus all the yuppie kids like to hang out in its cafes ...if you are into going to places with yuppie crowds.
I personally only go shopping to go shopping :) so for that Centaurus and Giga mall are best.

one important and plus point, the only big bookshop in the entire city is here--saeed book bank.

Only if you are looking to buy real gold/diamond jewellery go to jinnah as it has now been taken over by jewellers and to some extent mobile phone shops (the latter has better options in black horse plaza blue area)

Best market of F7 all things are available at one place

A gem in heart of Islamabad serving as a major tourist attraction with lovely restaurants, an open-air food court (known as gole market), jewellery shops, branded shops for shoes and garments, a shopping mall known as safa gold mall, tea and coffee shops, boutiques, pharmacies, general stores, a big hotel known as hill view hotel, quality bakery shops and lot more. A must visit area that stays alive till late!
