All good shops now in wtc Giga mall and Centaurus mall.
For electronics like big screen TVs or ACs etc you have to go to main blue area anyway. Jinnah market just looks pointless and run down now. A decade or more ago it was definitely somewhere to visit.
If you are in the vicinity , and can't go to Giga mall or Centaurus mall , then go to SAFA gold mall which is right next to Jinnah market, it is very small but has a few good shops like Next plus a food hall.
Plus all the yuppie kids like to hang out in its cafes ...if you are into going to places with yuppie crowds.
I personally only go shopping to go shopping :) so for that Centaurus and Giga mall are best.

one important and plus point, the only big bookshop in the entire city is here--saeed book bank.

Only if you are looking to buy real gold/diamond jewellery go to jinnah as it has now been taken over by jewellers and to some extent mobile phone shops (the latter has better options in black horse plaza blue area)
