What started as a free for life application which was ideal for a small business like mine issuing no more than 6-8 Invoices per month has become a somewhat overpriced proposition which has left me looking for alternatives. I m considering switching to either SumUp or Revolut (if they go as I expect they will). For a small company with < 100k annual turnover, the fixed price is too much to justify, particularly in these times with Covid impacting so greatly on business overall. Pity, I wanted to support an Irish company if I could but if they d listened to customers like me they d realise a fixed fee per Invoice would be far more acceptable and relevant. :/
Great tool for SME's Invoicing, payroll. But bit slow to book transactions for general accounting

bullet is great...i do wish there was a way to remove the "invoice due in" section appearing on the invoice as sometimes its not applicable

I love Bullet. As a self-employed person, it makes it so much easier for me to create invoices and to keep track of what I'm owed and what I've been paid. I use it all the time and I find it especially useful when I'm doing my taxes, since I can easily access all my invoices for the year and tot up my income from difference sources.

I was introduced to Bullet software two years ago and I can honestly say that it has been a complete gamechanger in terms of how I feel about invoicing. It has allowed me store a range of invoice templates relating to different services I provide which makes it super quick and easy to create an invoice. Once I've easily customised an invoice, Bullet emails the invoice directly to the client whilst copying me in. It also alerts me when my client has read the invoice. I'm pretty sure it can do other brilliant things as well such as record my inbound invoices.....need to take the time to explore all the ways it can help me. Love the fact that it's Irish too.

Bullet has been a game changer for me. Its so easy to use and makes the daunting task of managing your finances a walk in the park! It also allows you to present yourself in a profession manner with their selection of templates. It's a great service and I'd highly recommend it.

I have been using BulletHQ now for a small business I started. It is absolutely brilliant. So much elements available in the free version. I will for sure upgrade once i hit a higher level but for now with a single person company this couldn't be better! Well done all in the Bullet HQ team!

Excellent Software: My accountant suggested I needed to move from excel to a packaged solution. I found Bullet and have been using it for the past year plus - does everything I need and is easy to use. My accountant has been recommending it to others.

The Accounting package is fairly basic but good, but I have constant problems trying to get onto the site, the server cant be found etc. Which means i have delays invoicing my clients, which is not acceptable

Started using Bullet in January after manually doing invoices using templates & excel spreadsheet. Has definitely made things simpler and the dashboard gives me a quick reference on how I'm doing month to month. As a one-person business anything that saves me time and gives me a clearer financial picture is greatly appreciated!

The only real negative I can find so far is that the system signs out after a certain period of time and if you don't have what your working on saved you have to start again. There should be an auto save in place unless there is and I've missed it. Also, this is for business and I can't connect to Bank of Ireland Business Banking but I'll accept that as Business banking has very stringent security. Otherwise a really great piece of software that I'm looking forward to learning more about in the next few days.

I run a small one person business and am completely lost when it comes to technology. Until recently I have been writing up my invoices in word, which has been inefficient and disorganised to say the least. A friend recommended Bullet HQ and it's been fantastic. It's really easy to use, stores all of your information in one place, and looks great too. I know it has many more features than I am currently using (invoicing only) and I'm looking forward to making use of these too in the future.
One recommendation - a Pro Forma option for advance payment, as well as more editable payment terms in the invoicing templates, would be great!

I love bullet. I can get all my invoices for the month done in a couple of hours. Its quick and its simple. I like that they are always working on improving based on user feedback.
I was advised by a fellow entrepreneur to use bullet to generate my payroll & do all my expenses for my small business (which I;ve been used to doing myself for almost a year) and it has literally saved me so much time and effort! It's really easy to use, way cheaper than using an accountant and it's great to know that I'm compliant - so takes the worry out of doing taxes & finances. So glad that I;ve come across this company. Also they are super friendly people to deal with!
Ireland based, so this seem quite an instinctive accounts, billing and estimating app, with pre loaded Vat rates. Early days, but if Carpenter with limited computer and accounting experience, and sausages for fingers can use it, most people should be able to.
I have been a long time user of Bullet and had previously given them a 5 star rating. I have to reduce this based on the sudden pricing change. The software isn't bad, but I can no longer give it 5 stars. I also could not access past tax data without paying the new charge
