Nice store to grab everyday needs. Very friendly staff. The only problem with this store is the missing or misleading price tags on the vegetable and fruit shelves, which is sometimes annoying. I have discussed this problem with the staff but to no use.

This was my first time going to the Clifton Market and I was impressed that there is a grocery store across the street from Esquire Theater. They make sushi, boxed lunches and great caramel apple crisp cookies! I loved it!

I would move out of Clifton if it wasn t for the market. Please don t ever leave. This place couldn t be more convenient and the selection of food, beer, wine, & specialty items is well thought out & executes.

I love this place! There's a wide selection of food, the produce is always fresh and the wine section is fantastic. The employees are always friendly and helpful, which is something you don't find at many grocery stores.

Great little grocery store that is in an amazing location. They can be pricey compared to Kroger but the experience is just always so much better. Never too crowded, no lines and really great produce. Lots of the dairy alternatives as well. I stop in here constantly and always enjoyable.

Place used to rock but currently has delivery issues leading to empty shelves and a really poor selection. This has caused prices to go up and most locals have jumped ship in favor of the ever present Kroger. While the deli here is one of the best in the city when food trays sit empty and. There are only 3 varieties of meat and cheese to choose from you have to wonder isthe location convenience really worth it? Hoping they pull it together or like the IGA that sat there for years before it may see an end to the long awaited stock return all those co-op investors paid so highly for.

I told the cashier a man cut in line in front of me and he responded I haven t heard that since I was in kindergarten . I normally would not care about someone cutting in front of me but it was a 20 minute - 10 person deep situation. And then I asked him to please place my meat in plastic bag and then he turned around and bagged other items in with my meat. Made me feel rushed and told me I was supposed to pay before I bag. I had like 12 items. Overall a failed system regarding being compassionate to their customers and being friendly. If you have about an hour to pick up 10 items and you are willing to pay extra for items you can get cheaper at Kroger s or Aldi,, this place will not disappoint.

Things are strangely overpriced here. I went in to get four spices, which would normally run me 20$ at other smaller ecofriendly businesses. It was almost 40 dollars. They did give you the option of paper or plastic bags, which seemed strange for their 'ecofriendly' vibe. Employees were not helpful! I wandered the store for thirty minutes, and no one asked me if I needed anything.

This co-operative community market has it all! They have all the basic grocery needs: eggs, milk, bread, veggies, etc, but they also have a florist, bulk foods (you can even grind your own peanut butter!) and an INSANELY tempting bakery. Don't let looks deceive you; on the outside it looks a little small, but it is really large on the inside. They have the nicest employees to help out too. I live in the area, and it really helps that I can just walk down the street to pick up the things I need. Bear in mind, however, that because it isn't under any brand-name grocery chain, the prices can be steep!

EDIT: Unfortunately, this market has started to undergo financial troubles and tumultuous times, and it shows. I have moved from my previous apartment, but find myself in the area every now and then. I recently stopped into Clifton Market to get some snacks, and was astounded to find most of the shelves unstocked and unattended, and a large area of the bulk section missing. I want to believe in this market and root for them, but it's hard to do so if I can't find anything on their shelves...

Love this shareholder owned neighborhood grocery store!! There was a fantastic selection of produce!! Everything from kumquats to fresh snap peas and paypayas and fresh ginger and turmeric and (of course) three types of kale!! Everything you need and just a little bit more. A really fun mix of conventional foods and health foods, with options for pretty much everyone. I was really impressed by all of the deli counters and kind staff.

I love this little market! Good selection of local produce, kombucha, organic vegetables, grass fed beef/ wild caught fish and non-dairy milks (/icecream!). Definitely an asset to any paleo enthusiasts like myself. I highly recommend you check it out!

Nice at first glimpse. My only real interest was the bulk food section but that disappeared very early. The worst part is I had the same cashier both times I was there and she had no idea that they had even had a bulk food section even though it was visible from her register. WTH...

Although the Clifton-Ludlow area is well served by two Kroger stores, Clifton Market fits in well with its focus on farm-to-table produce and other organic items. It's slightly more expensive than Kroger and that matters in this area because it's a university neighborhood.

Great store when they have what you need in stock. I try to use the deli regularly, but wish they would adopt a regular rotation schedule, so I could better predict when I might be able to get certain items.

Price is comparable to Big Market stores. the people seem more in tune with the community. Friendly helpful staff. Great fresh quality for the price. They sell Boar's Head products versus other big names.

Nice little what I call a mom and pop meat market. It's no Kroger but it has the basics, it's local, friendly, clean, helpful, and the best thing is they have my cleaners in their, a one-stop chain indeed.

A great new store. I love having the ability to shop at a local store rather than Kroger. My only hesitancy in giving this place a brighter rating is that it definitely caters to a more upscale crowd, which does not necessarily fit all of the surrounding area.
