They don't post the negative reviews on their webs...

They don't post the negative reviews on their website, I gave them one and its not there. I took my car in for service because water was getting. I took it in wet and was told it was dry and to pick it up. I got there and it was still wet!!! The manager comes out and I explain to him the situation and get a lecture. Its probably the antenna, the one that was damaged when I bought the car! So they fixed it, I didn't receive ONE apology! I was made to feel like I didn't matter and they so arrogantly tried to give the car back wet in the inside! Got the car back from the body shop, paint is on my seats, dirt and the roof is a different color white! I am still paying for this car that looks like crap! I a m hurt and they need to all be fired!

Tom was great. Helpful, kind, never felt rushed, ...

Tom was great. Helpful, kind, never felt rushed, answered all my questions and more. He listened to what I was looking for and made reasonable suggestions in that direction. My family has always gone with Chrysler, so this Chevy Malibu is a first in more ways than one. The ride is quiet and cushy, just as he said and the steering like butter, mpg is way better than my van was, and I'm really enjoying my XM radio and On Star. The hard decision will be deciding what to keep after the trial period ends.

Made me whait an extra hour even with an appointment , very disappointed , they messed up my plan for the rest of the day,, if you go there expect a lot of delay, I waited 2.5 hours for a 45 min job

All the way from Laura in service write up, Wally in the rental department, to Lee Walch in the sales department. Buff Whelan Chevrolet was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had in a car dealership in my life. Lee should be promoted with a sense of urgency. I have never felt more comfortable and welcomed anywhere else in my life. Thank you for such a great experience and I will be coming for the rest of my life. A true dream team.

I have taken my car here twice for repairs. The first time, I didnt have any issues and left happy. The second time I needed side panel and bumper replacement. I was originally told 6 days for repairs, then 8, then 15. I understand things happen, however I was told everything was on track.
The last call I recieved for updates was on a Friday letting me know my car was being painted and will still be ready for pick up the following Tuesday. Monday came and went and no one called me. I called the shop on Tuesday making sure I could still pick up my car and return my rental (rented from Buff). They told me that my car had not even been painted yet. They were replacing my door which had absolutely no damage to it? and then needed at least another week!!

I questioned the woman I spoke with regarding my door, what happened to it, if it got damaged somehow there or what, and I didn't care, that I just expected their honesty and asked why no one bothered to call me and tell me what could have possibly changed since "it was being painted and still ready for pick up on Tuesday". Paying out of pocket for a rental, didn't exactly sit well with me. I got the run around and complained. The woman ended up calling me back to let me know they would cover my rental from that day forward. She also said that they were blending my paint, not replacing my door that she was mistaken. Go from being painted Fri (bumper, possibly side panel, blending) and ready for pick up Tues to needing an additional 9 days of work.

I am happy they attempted to somewhat reconcile this situation however, I trusted this company and had zero complaints before and now, another week later, still no updates on my car.

I haven t bought a car here so I am only reviewing...

I haven t bought a car here so I am only reviewing my service experience.

My service adviser was Jason C. and he was incredibly easy to deal with. He was exceptionally patient in explaining issues with my car and answering any questions I had. Even when I tacked on additional requests while my car was already being worked on he was understanding and accommodating.

He also went above and beyond in keeping my updated on the status of my car. He called me several times over the two days my car was in just to make sure I knew what was going on and when it would be ready. Anytime he told me he would call back, he would. I left him a few voicemails and I think every time my call was returned within 15 minutes. At all times he was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making it a good experience.

I also met the service manager Don T. I wanted to tell him about what a positive experience I had when I picked up my car but everyone in the service bay seemed so busy I figured I would just call him the next day. However, I guess Don saw me standing outside waiting for them to pull my car up and he walked out just to let me know that it wouldn t be much longer (it hadn t been long at all really). He told me that they really care about providing great service and from my experience, it shows..

Excellent: all documentation was well prepared, thus we could go through all papers in a timely manner. The sales person responded fast, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful at the same time. If nothing changes, I will lease again in two years. It was definitely worth the longer drive from Rochester Hills, because my local Chevi dealer was just the opposite.

I used to love Buff Whelan but their 2020 service ...

I used to love Buff Whelan but their 2020 service is horrific. My car appeared clean initially. Taking a closer look before heading out for a road trip I found animal hair and the previous owners check book under the backseat mat which tells me it wasn't fully detailed. I tried to call about it but I didn't get a call back.

I scheduled an oil change which they cancelled on me last minute.

Editing to 3 star from 1. Because of this review I received a call from the sales & service managers. Jack & Don were very nice, they wanted to rectify the situation. They were apologetic and helpful, however, it doesn't change the initial experience.

Especially today, I just recently got divorced and I have been very scared and stressed out and she went above and beyond to make this lease happen for me. I will never leave her as a client. After negotiating with several Chevy dealers for leasing a 2018 Trax, these guys beat all prices. We made a verbal deal over the phone and they kept their end of the bargain before and after signing the deal. Just know though, at the end when signing the last document, the contract says a loyalty fee will need to be payed if you don't lease/buy from them again after your lease is done ($300+ in my case). However, after the price they got for me, I'm likely keep coming back.

I had a great experience using their body shop aft...

I had a great experience using their body shop after my car got damaged. They were up front with me about knowing it would be a while before they could fix the dent in my car as they were backed up with service requests, and were happy to help me into a rental when the time did come. The rental was much cheaper than going through Enterprise, which I greatly appreciated. The car looks brand new, and they surprised me by fully cleaning the inside of my car as well, floor mats and all! Great customer service with Jennifer and Ken. Will be back for future service of my vehicle if something like this ever happens again.

I recently purchased a 2020 Silverado with the max...

I recently purchased a 2020 Silverado with the maximum towing and trailering package. As we were leaving to head up north we noticed we had lost all of our trailer lights including the braking capabilities of our new travel trailer. We pulled into the service department with a 34 foot trailer in tow and the service technician came out and helped us right away. We determined that the problem was with the new trailer wiring and not the Silverado and more importantly, the service technician got our trailer brakes back online which helped get us safely back home. A big thank you to the Buff Whelan service department for their kindness and concerns during our visit.
