We got there about 7pm, cover after 8:30. The guy doing the dinner set was really good. Had an app and a few beers waiting for the main show. The food was good, the beers cold, service was good but the girls seemed tired and kinda unhappy. The main, Blue Coast band was great. Their sound was full and had volume. Not loud but thumpin' volume, nice sound work. The harmonica player was blowing cat 5, the base was heavy and full, vocals had punch, and the drummer keep it all together.
The house was already rocking when Buddy Guys hops the stage and belts out this amazing sound. It's the best $10 I've ever spent. It's a blues bar with food, not a restaurant with blues. Stellar night, highly recommend the experience.

Simply the best without being simple..you get a top notch blues experience with the best food accompanied by staff that truly cares for blues lovers and all topped off with the surprise visit by Buddy Guy himself.
Does it get any better no... Buddy Guy's Legends is as good as it can get on earth.
When it comes to the Blues...the management staff is obviously great Buddy Guy with the help of Mr Maddox knows what he's doing..two thumbs way up

- Great place to enjoy good live music on a Sunday afternoon
(It's free entry 5-8)

+++
- Drinks are large, and relatively inexpensive for their size

++
- I liked the rum punch

+
- Orange smash was good too
- Food looked pretty generic

TIPS
- Don't be the loud jerk table that talks over the performance

The ambience was great, and we sat at a table with 2 very friendly tourists like us. The food was good. But the service from the staff was way too sloppy. Mistakes, not listening, practically throwing plates at us, seriously. I would have said 3 stars...but on the way out I learned that Mr. Buddy Guy himself is typically right there mingling with the customers whenever he can....now that is cool. Maybe next time I will see him.

Very laid back casual Blue's Club. It was Saturday night and we had been all afternoon wearing sneakers. Wasn't sure weather they would let us in dressed that way. They did and the place was packed we were seated at the bar because we didn't want to share a table. We had such a good time we stayed for two different acts. It was a little pass one AM when the second set ended. The band said stick around for another set. But out had been long day we left. Buddy Guy's great for live up close music with drinks bar food and dancing.

The music is wonderful.

The music is wonderful.
But the show setup is TERRIBLE. Too many tables in front of the stage which one has a chance to get coming 5 hours before the show. Otherwise, you have to stand in substandard space on the side of the stage, where it is difficult to see anything even for me being 5 9 . There are always people passing by you, there are waiters carrying trays with stuff and wherever you see a good spot a security guy comes to you and says you can t stand here. Very unenjoyable experience.
