Go here. Relax. Have a beer. They had an art gallery opening the night I went. Pretty cool. Gonna go back.

Awesome place, awesome staff, and of course, AWESOME BEER.
Great staff, great beers, great atmosphere, dog-friendly and fun events on the weekends. Not sure what else you could ask for in a brewery spot except maybe a kitchen- but they have food trucks and vendors sometimes at events.
Though the brewery itself is new to Atlanta, it already feels like it it's been around a lot longer. Chris and Jason, the owners, are always willing to answer questions (and do so without making you feel like you're not "elite" enough), make recommendations, or even tell you about other beer in the area you might be interested in trying.
My personal favorites are the Thai Wheat and Mole Porter, but I also really loved the Summer Saison that they did in collaboration with Twain's. And that right there should also tell you more about the quality of beer they have - other local brewers want to and have worked with them, too.
I'm looking forward to seeing this brewery grow. It's also located near a couple of the other must-try ATL breweries, so if you're doing a brewery crawl along Brewery Row, definitely pop into Second Self, too.
Just didn't like anything I tried, and the seating area didn't really have any atmosphere.
Awesome beer. Awesome staff. Awesome atmosphere. One of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Their beer is consistently good. I like how they use real ingredients instead of artificial flavors. All the staff I have met are super friendly. I especially love their new Margarita in Gose flavor!
One of my new favorite microbreweries in Atlanta now. Their beers are quite flavorful and there is plenty of space inside to talk or hang out. Definitely worth a try at least once.
Good beer. Good place to hang out and chat with the owners and brewers.
Decent beer and atmosphere. Nothing stood out, but everything was enjoyable.
They do have a Nintendo 64 to play while drinking beer. I was there with family, so i didn t get to play, but I ll be back to try.
We are obsessed with Second Self Beer Company! Not only is their beer delicious, but their venue space is super neat too! We love setting our photo booth up here, love the staff, love the atmosphere, and again - LOVE THE BEER. Go here! Have your event here! Enjoy!
Love this place. Always fun, good beer and crowd. Appreciate their pairings. Girl Scout Cookies and Beer this time! Well worth it and delicious tacos.
Their beer is awesome. Finally a brewery that isn't filled with IPAs! i think people like IPAs because other people like IPAs. Seriously, they have more than 1 wheat beer (Check), sour beers (check), porters (double check) and cool staff.
Great product, looking forward to what the future years brings!
The team at second self a really on to some great new things. I love Brewers with enthusiasm, and that is what I get when I taste these beers.
Chill place to hang out, play some board games or video games, dog friendly. Beer selection is diverse. Year-round favorites are Thai Wheat and Mole Porter. Lots of good seasonal releases, too.
Very tasty beer! The comedy show they do on the last Monday of every month is hilarious as well!
Loved it! The people are awesome and friendly, we were happily welcomed with our dog, and the beer was delicious! A nice stash of games in the corner, too!
Went for a private event. The owner was very rude to the host not too mention it was VERY hot inside. The beer is ok, but nothing special for a local brewery. We will not be returning.
Good atmosphere and great beer. Low key place to have a few brews.
Terrible staff. They were rude to all guests and it took forever to get a drink. The beer was not good and half of them were not available. Parking is also a disaster. There are plenty of breweries to go to in Atlanta - this should not be one of them
Came here for their re-opening weekend. Overall, our group wasn't too impressed with the variety and flavor profiles of the beer, but the Thai Wheat is still a favorite of mine! Unfortunately, the live band was really, really loud due to poor acoustics inside, and most people were screaming to hear each other or standing outside instead. The staff was incredibly friendly though and tried their best to make sure everyone was having a good time. Unfortunately, I probably would not recommend this brewery for a visit over the numerous other breweries in Atlanta :(
I had the thai wheat one day in Kirkwood, and that alone was enough for me to become a fan. The place is rustic and quaint - great people and even better beer. I really like the creative energy that went into the entire organization. Definitely try the Maverick & Gose!
Great Bartenders. They have $3 pint nights on Fridays!
Love love love this brewery! Tucked away in a nice spot, the brews are fantastic. They have a great ambiance with a variety of events occurring each week. Like most breweries, doggos are welcome!
The vibe here was refreshing. This hidden gemstone is open to one and all including your pups. The atmosphere was laid back and their brews were great too. I had a ball in their photo booth! #ashsaidit #atlbeerbus #wishyouwerebeer
One of the best local breweries! They also support the black community like crazy! Come one come all
Great beer and staff. Their 1-year anniversary party was a blast!
Great beer and great people! Thats for the great hospitality!
The beer is really high quality, but the taproom appeals within a fairly limited demographic. It's a bit more chill than what you would expect, so it can be somewhat off putting if you are expecting a more high energy experience.
Spent my birthday here and had a great time! Staff was awesome and the beer great!
Love the new digs. Great beer, great people, great tap room and great location.
Great beer, staff and a fun space to hangout. I will be back.
A great brewery with an atmosphere to match. There are many different beers to choose from a variety of sizes and flights. There were a ton of great beers that had me going back for more. They are dog friendly with a ton of games and activities going on. There were sports on the projector and even an N64 for some Mario Kart! Definitely my new go-to brewery in Atlanta.
I didn t see the taproom. Just went to a Girl Scout cookie and beer pairing event after seeing it on Facebook. I went solo, and the staff members were really nice and engaging. They also had other interesting snacks to purchase. I can t say that I knew about this brewery before Facebook recommended the event, but I d go back and try more beers as there was at least one category in the pairing that I usually don t like but became a fan of.
Great brewery. Really fun atmosphere. And you can bring your dog.
Super chill place to hang out and drink with your friends. Built by Georgia Tech alumni and kept great by their friends, second self brings witty and fun beers to the table while having fun events like yoga and a fine selection of board games. Look for their special one off events on Facebook because they have some excellent ones. There's typically plenty of parking right next to the brewery.
Awesome selection of craft brews and merchandise. Excellent atmosphere for socializing and watching games. Neat & clean. Nice location.
A smaller selection of unique beers that were good. The lack of A/C made it quite hot inside.
Fantastic staff, plenty of parking, amazing pet policy, and don't get me started on how good the beer is. A+ all across the board. Could not recommend this place more.
We went at 8:00 on the last Friday night of the month, when they have comedy! My friend told me about the event and I m so glad she did! This was my second time at Second Self; the last time I went was years ago when they had a yoga class there! I love how they have fun events there...and beer. It s always good when there s beer.
They have a lot of options in terms of beer and everything looked good! We got the Dad Made Breakfast (breakfast stout), which was super good. My husband got La Fria (lager), which he said was average. We also got the Golden Blonde, which was good!
We all sat outside on their lawn for the comedy show. They have some picnic tables, but it s a good idea to bring your own blanket and chairs! In times of coronavirus, everyone was spread out across the lawn. They require masks inside. They took all the necessary precautions!
We will definitely be back! We look forward to more comedy and more beer at Second Self, and whatever else they have to offer!
Great beer. Plus they have ping pong, tons of board games, a selfie photo booth, and a video game console.
LOVE this place. Great staff, great beer, chill atmosphere. They have food trucks, or you can bring your to-go food and eat it there.
Great Beer and fun people delicious food truck options
Best brewery, especially during this COVID period. Each table had hand sanitizer and they required everyone to wear a mask, especially when walking around. Felt super safe, and also they allow dogs inside. Will definitely be coming back
When my husband and I were looking at places to have our reception (2 months after getting married), we checked out several local breweries and Second Self was on the list simply for their delicious beer. I emailed them and Nadia, the event and marketing person at SS, got back to me quickly. When we came to tour the space, she sat us down, beer in hand (of course!) and we hashed out our vision for the party. Her friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond to make our party smooth and seamless was what made us decide to have the party at Second Self. And it was AMAZING! It was more than we could have ever hoped for and the entire Second Self staff, including Caleb and Casey, were instrumental in making our event such a huge success. I can't recommend this place enough! We are Second Self fans for life :D
Great variety of beers, super comfortable, friendly staff, can't wait to come back
I love the Mole Porter! So many good breweries in the ATL area!
The taproom is situated in a spacious but bare-bones industrial garage style space about 20min drive north of downtown Atlanta. Very casual vibe which included picnic table style seating, board games and apparently pet friendly as I saw a customer bring in his dog. No food menu but there was a third-party vendor selling tacos outside on this afternoon. Limited beer selection. The mole porter and thai wheat ale (brewed with lemongrass and ginger) were both average. There was wifi but I was denied access. Overall, this brewery was a touch too bare-bones for my taste.
I love this place!! The vibe is everything. Hang out, chill, meet friends.... and the beer is on point. Great local spot.
We had an engagement party here and it was AWESOME. The beer was delicious, the owners were easy to work with, and the space was perfect. Our event was a two hour party with beer tastings and an outside caterer. The party was really easy to plan because the owners were so nice and responsive to all of our questions. There s a parking lot so party guests didn t have to worry about finding spots on the street somewhere. The tasting room is right next to where they actually brew the beer so it s really cool to see all the equipment and working areas as you taste the finished product.
Did I mention the beer is fantastic? Not only did we get to drink the beer they sell in stores, we also got to try some limited release varieties like a bourbon barrel porter and a red velvet brew. All of our guests loved the event and I would definitely host another party there in the future!
Solid beers as usual. Seemed like the staff was taking proper measurements for safety.
Must visit if you want a variety tasting; especially since the neighbor, scofflaw, only has IPA's (all delicious).
I have to say they do a good job with what they have but it's a small place with no where to park or sit. People were sitting on the ground. The beer wasn't bad but I didn't have anything from the flight that I loved either. With so many great breweries to choose from in the area this place with need to step up their game.
